"I don't even remember them together. I was around Maddie's age when they divorced." He chuckled softly. "Maddie age..I'm making my own mistakes with her. i always said growing up that I would be a better father than mine. I'm not. I'm running around doing Jedi stuff. My mom is raising her. I've turned into him. I am my father's son. Who would hav guessed that. Not me."

He knew that Maddie adored him now but how much longer will she. Will she forgive him when she older? Or will she hated him like he does his father.

Kay shrugged her shoulders a little. "At least you still get to see her. It's been years since I saw Brad and Rae Anna last. For all they know, if they remember me, I could be dead. I understand why they were taken away, but that doesn't make it hurt less. Your Father saved us. As much as you don't like him, he's a hero."

"Yeah I know. Big hero." He says with biting sarcasm. "We are almost to Maz. It a great place to find transport. Just a little warning, this place attracts all kinds. We don't want to start anything..we can't back up. So don't be surprised if we run into a Sith, bounty hunters, or any other kind of scum.

They walked underneath all the flags in the courtyard to the steps.

Kay smirked a little. "It's an unsavory place, is it? That's okay. As far as I'm aware, I don't have anyone coming after me, and no bounties." She wondered if Hawk was in the same boat. Yet with their recent escape, it was unknown as to whether or not word had spread.

She looked up to the flags as they passed them, and then waited for her eyes to adjust to the low level of light as they walked inside.

Hawk climbs up the steps to the bar. The door opens as a few patrons leave. He walks inside. The place hadn't changed at all. The same band played in the corner.

He spots Maz at the bar serving drinks. "There she is. That's Maz."

Kay followed in behind Hawk, taking note of the band and the people that were around. With some being able to hide their Force signatures, it was difficult to determine if there were any Sith around.

She looked to where Hawk was looking and then followed him to her. Once they approached the bar, Kay bowed her head. She wondered how well he knew Maz.

"Hey Maz." Hawk says with a grin. "Hawk Solo. Long time has it been. You look good. What can I get you to drink?" Maz says looking more at Kay than Hawk. "An Ale and cup of tea." Maz chuckles. "Ahhhh..so the rumors are true. You must be Kay." She turns to prepare the tea.

Kay raised a brow as Maz studied her and then knew what she liked to drink. And then she just blinked as Maz spoke of rumours and knew her name. She sat down on one of the stools. "Yes please, and yes I'm Kay. But....what rumours have you been hearing?" She looked over to Hawk to see if he knew. Maybe it was the fact that she loved tea?

Maz pour ale into a frosted mug and slid it to Hawk. "Rumors about a pair of force user getting the better of Prana among other things." She sad as she fixed Kay a cup of tea. "He put a bounty on them. He didn't like being embarrassed."

Hawk took a drink of the ale. It hit the spot. "Bounty?" Great just what he needed. Losted his ship..and now this.

Kay took her tea and thanked her. However while she was in mid sip, Maz spoke of the bounty. Add that to the list of bounties that she's had. "How much is it for? Is it dead or alive?" She's paid off hunters before. If the price was low enough, perhaps she could do so again.

"Dead." Maz says sadly. "What have you gotten yourself into Hawk? Can't stay out of trouble." Hawk grimaces. "Trouble always finds me. We need help getting off planet."

"Just the two of you?" Maz asks as she cleans a glass mug. "No. 8 or 9." Maz puts the glass down. "2 not a problem. 9 is a problem, I will need to think about it." Maz didn't ask about Hawk's ship, She assumed it was out of the picture.

Kay frowned. Dead wasn't what she was hoping for. And Hawk wasn't the only one that couldn't stay out of trouble. It had a habit of finding her too. And the two of them together made it even worse. "Maybe I can change my hair colour, cut it, bulk up my appearance. That could help..."

[member="Lady Kay"]

Hawk looks at Kay. "Changing your appearance could work but only if you change your personality and habits." Maz nods her head in agreement with Hawk. "Especially your drink habit. It is a dead giveaway."

"You should do the same Hawk." Maz suggest to him as well. "Maybe where your robes ....grow a beard."

Kay frowned slightly as she looked down to her cup. Stop drinking tea? But for how long? Wouldn't she get a headache? "Couldn't we just....hide somewhere? Even separately? Surely that would help as well." She sipped her tea and just stared down at her mug. "Hawk will probably look more like his father if he grew a beard and such. Wouldn't that still put him in danger?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

"How long do you think you could hide? Forever?" Said Maz. "She got a point Kay. Changing our looks could gives those few moments we need to defend ourselves."

Hawk was too thrilled with the idea of growing a beard. "No beard. Maybe go blonde. It only until we get home. I don't think Prana has any desired to mess with the Silver Jedi."

"Don't need to hide forever just to keep bounty hunters away," Kay mumbled those words to herself before she sipped her tea. She looked to Hawk as he had mentioned of going home to the Silver Jedi. That wasn't her home and she didn't feel entirely comfortable with the idea of being judged by them. If anything, she just wanted to get away from everyone.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"No..going home is not the answer. You know this Hawk. Stop running." Maz states calmly looking at him. Hawk shakes his head. "Maz..I can't."

"You must embraced it." She says. "I already have....I'm a Jedi." He says in loud whisper to Maz. "The visions?" She asked. Hawk finishes his ale wishing that he never told Maz about them. "They are under control."

"Hmmmm." Maz says as she wipes the bar.

Kay couldn't quite tell who Maz was trying to reach. Her or Hawk? It could very well be the both of them. She sipped her tea and then just stared at her cup as she listened to the exchange. Hawk didn't always have control of his visions. She knew that. Maybe Maz already knew that too.

"Hawk's right. He'll have others there that can help protect him from any hunters trying to bring him in."

[member="Lady Kay"]

"You would bring the fight home to Maddie." Maz says quietly to him. Hawk grunts. "Frak." He mutters under his breath. "You know I hate you sometimes." He says Maz.

"Don't know what to do." The last thing he wanted was being danger to Maddie. He sinks down into a chair. He rubs his head. This was giving him a headache.

Kay felt almost as defeated as Hawk. Luckily for her, she had no one that would be put in danger due to her actions. She looked over at Maz, not entirely sure who the woman was, nor how she knew the things that she knew. But regardless, it was worth it to ask. "What do you suggest we do, then?"
