King Prana stood. He allowed him to be lead out of the spectator box and into the hall. His guards step aside not wanting the King to be harm. Nate, Hawk and the kids joined Kay in the hall. The kids stood back in a small group behind Hawk.

"Traitor!" The king says to Nate. Nate smirks at the King. Keeping the king hostage was dangerous move. "Follow me. I know the way to the ship."

Kay was glad that someone at least knew where the ship was. Once they got to it, she looked over to Hawk. "You should check the ship over, be sure that they haven't sabotaged it. No doubt it crossed their minds at some point that we might try to escape on it." She looked to Prana, looking for any sign that what she had said had some truth in it. But the King was a betting man, so he could probably hide things very well.

King had a very good poker face. It didn't reveal anything. "Yeah, already planned too. " Hawk says as they followed Nate to the hanger holding Kamikaze. It wasn't long before they made it to the hanger.

Hawk walked around the ship checking it for any tracking device or explosions. He didn't see anything obvious but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

The King presses a button on his belt that set a signal to blow the hidden explosive on the ship. He wasn't going to allow them to live to tell this tale. The ship engines explosive. Pieces of metal goes everywhere. Hawk is hit in the head as he was throwers by the blast into the ramp. The ramp shields him for a moment.

A couple pieces of metal shards hit the kids. Killing one of them. The king was struck with a few pieces of metal.

The explosion wasn't something that she, or anyone was expecting. Except for Prana. Yet even he was struck. Kay was struck as well. Instinct caused her to let him go while her eyes darted around. Hawk was down. Some of the kids screamed and cried as they were hit too, one of them staring with dead eyes as a piece of metal went through his heart. There were too many for her to deal with at once, including herself.

And then she saw them, a number of guards poured into the hanger, with their weapons trained on the whole group. Kay dropped to her knees. This was so unfair. At least Maddie got out safely. Hopefully....

"HAWK!" Yelled Nate during the explosion as he was hit by metal shard in his arm and legs. They were lucky that the whole ship didn't explosions. They all would have been dead.

With all of confusion the King limping made his way to the guards. "Not so fast. Your royal highness." Nate said as force pulled the King to him by his neck. "We are done with you yet." The King fingers torn at his neck struggling for air. The guards raised their weapons. They were prepare to fight for their king.

"Put the weapons DOWN or your King dies." One of the guards snuck around Kamikaze to Hawk. Hawk had move from where he had been thrown. Hawk had a nasty gash on his head. The guard put a blaster to Hawk head. "Your son for our King."

Kay frowned. This was getting worse and worse. Yet she didn't want Hawk to die. He was all that she had left that had any memory of Shaw. "Nate...let him go. We need to get out of here and get medical aid." Her mind reeled as she tried to figure a way out of this.

If it was anyone else, Nate would have killed the king. It was his son. He had no choice. "You are lucky." He growls to the Prana as he released him. The king falls to his knees gasping for air. "He will be alright." He tells the guards who remove the King to safer position,

Nate arches an eyebrow at the guard near his son. The guard reholster his blaster and steps away from Hawk.

"Kay, go and check him out." Nate says to her. Hawk moans as his eyes opens. "Mom? Dad?" He whispers. "Kay? Shaw?"

Kay breathed a sigh of relief. Though some of the rifles were put away, not all of them were. And Hawk wasn't the only one that needed help. She got to her feet, not quite worried about her own cuts and bruises as she made her way over to him. That cut on his head was nasty. She placed her hand over it and closed her eyes, focusing on the Force and manipulating it's energy to close and heal his wound.

When she was finished, she opened her eyes, removed her hand and looked over to Nate. "I can't heal everyone by myself. We need medical treatment and a ship to get us out of here."

"You heard the lady. Escort us to ship." Nate didn't trust them. "Ill take you to a shuttle." Says the guard. "We can give you a first aid kit. I would recommend to leaving now. Before the King reconsider the deal."

Thanks to Kay. Hawk slowly stood up moving carefully. His head was pounding from a headache. His eyes focused on the dead boy. "Good idea."

Some of the kids were crying. Hawk went to one of the girls. She was bleeding badly. Hawk didn't like look of it. He rips off his sleeves and wraps it around her leg to stop the bleeding.

Nate looks over the kids. Few of them would have to be carried. He hoped that they didn't lose anymore of the kids.

Kay nodded to what the guard had said. She didn't much believe that Prana would keep his word either. A first aid kit though? It'll have to do. She could handle the rest, for the most part.

The kids that could walk, did so, while Kay, Nate and Hawk picked up one each. As for the dead one, she frowned. "What about him? Do we leave him, or?" It would be quite sad to leave him behind.

Hawk had a little girl on his back. She had a cuts and bruises on her legs. She had wanted to ride him horse style. Hawk didn't want to leave the kid body behind. He deserved a proper funeral. He was about to say that when Nate spoke up.

"No, he is one with the force. All that is left is his remains." He didn't want to get weigh down by dragging a decomposing body around. Hawk open his mouth to protest but stopped when Nate gave him a look.

With in a few minutes the group arrived at nearest shuttle. "You can take this." Hawk frowns. It didn't look like much. "It doesn't even have weapons." He mutters. "There has to be a better ship than this." It felt strange leaving his ship behind. They had no choice since the explosion damaged the engines.

Kay frowned and lowered her head as she walked, sad that they had all lost so badly. Again someone had died and this time it was a little boy.

Once inside shuttle, she led the kids to a small area where they could sit or lay down. "As long as it has shields, that's all that matters right now. We'll need one person to pilot while the other helps me heal the younglings."

Hawk set the little girl on his shoulders down on a couch. Kay had a way of cutting through the bull. She was right. They only needed shields. He really wanted weapons.

"I'll fly." Hawk stated before Nate could volunteer. "You are better at healing than I am." He says Nate. Not waiting for a response Hawk goes to the cockpit to begin the preflight. He frowns. "Shields..phhhhh." He says. They weren't even military grade.

Kay needed to heal herself, but there were others with far worse injuries. So she sat down next to one of them. There were burns on her body, some were blistering. She had to deal with those first. In her weakened state it would take longer, but she was going to try her best. If Nate was good at healing, his help would be greatly appreciated. One child at a time though. Hopefully the trip to Hawk's planet wouldn't take too long. That is if that was where they were going.

Nate glanced around at the kids. No one seems to be closed to death. He had time to do heal Kay. She was worse than the kids. He placed his hand on her shoulder. He released healing energy into her. "You need to take care of yourself." He said to Kay.

The shuttle jerked a little as it lifted off. The thrust control wasn't working correctly. Hawk makes a few adjustment for it. They slowly lift off the platform. Hawk had the shields set on full. Good thing, they took a direct hit in the quarter from one of the King's planetary canons. A voice came on the loud speaker. "Leave the system at once." Hawk rolls his eyes. "Don't worry. We are." He says to himself. He checks his panel for damage. Nothing important. They could still make the jump. He calculated a short jump just beyond Prana's system.

Hawk had to figure out what to do about Nate. He was a wanted man.

Kay was always the last thing on her mind. She wasn't a selfish person, but she didn't resist Nate's help either. In the end it would help her help the kids better, and that is what was most important.

Once Nate was finished, she set to work on the other kids, putting bandages over minor cuts and easing down the swelling from others. At least there was little chance of infection.

As the ship made the jump into hyperspace, Kay breathed a small sigh of relief. At least they should be safer now.

After finishing healing her, Nate started to attend to the children. The shuttle shudder when it made the jump to light speed. Not good sign. They shouldn't do too many jumps in this shuttle.

Hawk walked into the compartment where the kids were being heal. "We have a problem. What are we going to do with Nate? Can't take him back to Voss. He will be arrest." Hawk, himself, was having an internal struggling over not arresting him. "Plus we have to dump this bucket of bolts. I don't Prana people tracking us home."

Everyone needed to eat, drink and sleep. They sure weren't going to be able to do that on this shuttle. Plus Hawk's concerns about Nate were heard. She just didn't know much about his situation to judge him properly.

"First friendly planet that we can get to, let's go there and rest. We all need it. Then we can hire another ship and go our separate ways from there."

"That is gonna to be hard to do. A lot of systems in this area are loyal to Prana." States Nate. "I was thinking of Takdonna. Maz's is a neutral place." Says Hawk. "We should be able to find transportation. Unless anyone has any idea?"

Kay shrugged her shoulders a bit. "I don't know this area very well. So anything that you both suggest will work for me. Just as long as it won't take us too long to get there." She was worried about the shuttle losing fuel and leaving them to just drift in space. "Any of you have friends out this way?"
