Hawk grins when he see Maddie's legs. He grabs her around the waist and pulls her down to him. "Daddy It smell." She says as Hawk put her on the ground next to him. The sewer water was to her knees. "Ewe."

Hawk ignores Maddie sounds of disgust as he helps the rest kids down until it was just Kay up here. "Don't forget to the vent and screw on." He planned on using the force to re screw in place.l

Kay hoped that her joke was putting them at ease. More than likely they soon wouldn't notice the bad smell anymore once they had gotten used to it.

Once the last kid was down, she refitted the screws onto the top of the vent, half wanting to just let Hawk go by himself. Then maybe she could stall them. Yet Nate was around somewhere. So Kay decided to go down into the sewer. She held the vent over her head and then jumped down, allowing it to fit securely with her dangling below. "Screw it back in place, Hawk." She let go and landed in the water, splashing everyone. "Sorry...."

While Hawk screwed the vent back in place with the force, a few of the kids were complaining about the smell. Hawk rolled his eyes. This wasn't his first sewer escape. "Ok let's get moving. Now you have to quiet. Voices will echo. I will go first. Kay you will stay in the back."

Hawk moved in front of the kids leading them deeper in the sewer. He felt his father...Nate brush his mind with the force. Nate urged them to hurry along.

Kay whispered to them from the rear, "It'll be over soon. Just be mindful of the splashing as well. Cover your mouths with your sleeves, if you can." She kept looking over her shoulder, feeling Nate's touch as well. Where was he? Somewhere above them, but what was he doing? More than likely he was stalling for them, yet she had no idea where they were or where Hawk's ship was. Hopefully he knew the way....

Hawk had no idea where he was leading them. He was following his instincts. He could tell by the piping overhead they were in the main sewer line. That means that waste could dump on them. He felt bad for the kids. He held onto Maddie's hand. "Hold. Water is deeper here." He looks back to Kay. He holds his hand waist high. For most of the kids it would be shoulder deep.

Kay looked to Hawk as he gestured, causing her to sigh. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. It was tough on the kids and tough on them. Well at least this way, if they were to get caught, their captors would have to give them showers first. And at some point soon it would probably be discovered that they were missing.

She picked up the smallest of the children and whispered to them. "Everyone hold hands. Move nice and easy." She glanced over her shoulder. Hopefully they didn't go in the wrong direction.

Hawk allowed the second smallest kid to ride on his back. It wasn't the best idea to have the point man with a kid on his back. What else could he do. Let the kid drown. No.

He walk into the deeper water. Human waste was floating on top of the water. Maddie and few kids made gagging noises. "Breath through your mouth." He instruction them as trudged on. He stops again as they have to make a choice to f direction. One way the opening was narrow for Hawk but less water. The other way the water looked to be deeper.

Kay scrunch up her nose in disgust. "Hawk, this doesn't seem right. We need to get out of here. Take the smaller tunnel. It'll be easier on all of us." Well maybe not on him, but who knows if all the kids knew how to swim. They had to put the kid's comfort over their own. If they were being followed, then more than likely their enemies would think that they'd of taken the easier route.

"No Kay they will think that we took the smaller tunnels knowing we had kids with us. My fear is the smaller tunnel will lead into more smaller tunnels until we are trapped. The larger tunnel will lead us out". He hoped he was right. The kids whined they didn't want to go in the larger tunnel.

Rats were swimming by the kids. One of the kids threw up in the water. The kids were cold and wet.

Kay sighed and frowned. Well, it was her idea to have them 'caught' in the first place, so this was partly her fault, but still....it wasn't good for the kids. They were all going to get terribly sick if they didn't get out of here soon.

"Fine. But we have to move quickly." One day they'll all laugh about this. But not now.

"Ok." He says agreeing to move faster. He moves a few feet into the water. It risen to his chest. He glances back. The kids were refusing to move into the deeper water. Hawk felt something grab his leg. The kid holding on his back screams. Hawk releases his hold on Maddie's hand as he was pulled under by the dianoga that lived there.

The child on Hawk's back also let go and swam back to the others, Maddie helping to pull them. All of the children screamed and Kay pushed her way in front of them in a bid to try to see what was going on. Splashes of water were everywhere, only letting them know where Hawk could be, but that was it. And she didn't even have a weapon.

Yet the children were all Force sensitive. "Everyone! I know that it's hard and scary, but I need you all to focus and concentrate on Hawk. We need to lift him and whatever has him out of the water. Close your eyes if it helps. Feel for him, push them up over the surface."

She started to follow her own advice, looking more so for the creature to bring it out of the water.

"DADDY!" Cries out Maddie as Hawk slip under the water. Dianoga wrapped it tentacle around his ankle. Hawk accidental swollowed some of the water when he was pulled underwater. The water was so dark and murky. Hawk couldn't see anything. It was a could thing that he didn't need to see to use the force.

He force shoved the creature away when he felt the kids using the force to help him. Between Hawk shoving and kids lifting him. The creature let go of him. Hawk's head broke the surface of the water. He swam over to Kay and the kids. Once he was able to put his feet on ground again. He stood than threw up the sewer water.

At least it worked. Kay let Maddie go to her dad after he threw up. She pulled everyone further back so that they were out of reach of the creature. "That was close....Well the big tunnel is out. Let's try our luck with the shallower waters." She waited until Hawk was ready though and had caught his breath.

"Yeah..no big tunnel.." He felt better after getting sick. He wipes his mouth off. Than hugs Maddie tight. "I was so scared, daddy." She said while she clutching to him. "Don't want to lose you." He nods. "Okay sweetie. "

"Ok time to move. Kay why don't you take lead for awhile." He was going to have to crawl or walk on his knees.

Kay nodded and let Hawk and Maddie have their moment. In the meantime she looked to the rest of them. "You all did so well! Now let's see if we can finally get out of here." She led the way into the smaller tunnel. Easy enough for the kids to get through, but she had to stay ducked. At least the sewer water level was lower and it seemed to smell less. That was a good sign.

Maddie moves ahead of Hawk following the others kids in the tunnel. First time in his last life that Hawk cursed his height. He end up crawling on his hands and knees. It was easier to keep with the kids and Kay.

The water looked almost cleaned. Interested were they in water tunnel. Humming mechanics sounds drifted in the tunnel.

Kay heard the hum of machinery too, and the air was starting to smell better at least. Well, if they were ever caught, no one would really want them because of the smell. But if this end was blocked, they'd have to go back to their cages. She blinked in surprise and delight when she saw a ladder up ahead. Yet she couldn't get their hopes up. It all depended on where it went and whether or not the access was unlocked.

"Hawk, you'll be able to stretch your legs in a moment."

"Glad to hear that." Grunts Hawk. His back and knees were aching, he was going through need a hot bath and massage after this adventures.

They reached the ladder. The kids crowded around it. Careful Hawk stood up next to it. He didn't sense any life form up there. "I don't sense anything. You wanna take a peak."

Kay looked up, just as everyone else did. "Yeah, I'll check it out. Wait here." She climbed up the ladder and shivered a bit from her wet clothes. She grabbed the nob on the hatch and slid it, wincing a bit at the loud sound of metal scraping on metal.

A few seconds later she opened the hatch. No one seemed to be around. She knelt down beside the hatch and whispered, "Come on up. Quickly and quietly."
