"You know how men count." Jewel says with light laughter. Kay asked some good questions. Where should they get married? "Well. We can make the ship pretty. I really just want to get married. Don't need all the trappings. We did that last night. Maybe that what freaked him out."

"I rather not talk about work right now. I will say this ..we dabble in a lot of things. Anyways, tell me about you know my man?" Time to turn the table on Kay.

Medical Center.

Doc finished remove some of the dead skin and inflection off of Hawk's stump. He wraps it in clean bacta bandages. He was going to let it heal for day before replacing the hand. Doc was pleased with how was responding to the treatment. He leaves instruction with the droid to monitor Hawk and to admit no visitors. The man needed to rest. Doc was going to make sure that Girls allow that.

Going to make the ship all pretty? That is not going to make escape easy. And now it was her turn to be asked questions. "What do I know about Hawk?...He's my best friend. There was a whole group of us growing up,he was the Best Man at my wedding and.....did his best to prevent my husband from getting killed. We got separated for five years until recently."

"Ohh I'm so sorry." Jewel said before giving Kay a big hug. "Can't even imagine what that would be like to be widow. You are so young. Did you guys have any kids together?"

There was a knock at the door. "One moment.." She says as she get up to answer the door. "Hello doc,, come in. How is he?" Doc walked into Jewel's room. He spies the wedding dress on the chair. Was Jewel really going to marry Hawk just to torture him the rest of his life? It wasn't his problem.

"He is doing better. I had to remove some of the dead tissue and infection from the stump. The infection was the reasons for the fever. If everything goes according to plan...he will get his arm in two days. For now, he needs his rest. No visitors until tomorrow. I mean it Jewel..no visitor. Hawk been through a lot."

Kay was surprised at the hug, but hugged back. When she was about to answer her question, the doctor arrived. She furrowed her brows a little. An infection. Hawk's ship must have been dirtier than she thought. "Thank you. The sooner that he gets better, the better....And no, my husband and I never had kids of our own. We adopted two, but they were hidden away once my husband was killed for their safety."

Jewel pouted a little. She really wanted to see Hawk. "All right. I promise. Besides Kay and I have a lot of planning to do. This will gives us plenty of time to decorate the cargo bay."

"Good. I'll leave you two to your planning." Says Doc as he leaves the room.

Medical Center.

The droid continues to monitor the patient Hawk Solo. The droid runs a scan of the patient blood to check for any mid-cholorian. It was a routine test they did now days, The droid sends a report of the count to Hutchinson and Jewel.

Kay bowed her head to the Doctor as he left the room. She then looked to Jewel. "Decorate the cargo bay? Shouldn't we go to a market and get some things? We'll need flowers, food, drinks, I need a dress, Hawk needs a Best Man, not that we'll find one at the market but.....How many crew do you have?" It'll give her a better idea of how many they had to escape from.

"We don't need flowers. We have food,drinks...I'm sure we can scrounge up a dress for you. Hawk still has clothes here. I will find him something suited to wear. We can decorate the cargo with white lights and silk fabrics. It will look gorgeous.."

She walks out of the room. A member of her crew stops and hands her a report. "Giles..this Kay. A friend of Hawk's." Jewel glances a report on Hawk's blood. "This can't be right." She mutters to herself. "Giles show Kay around."

Giles was an attractive looking man in his early thirty with blonde hair and blue eyes. "It would be my pleasure."

Scrounge up a dress? From what she had seen, there were only men here. As for the other things, it seems very odd that Jewel was avoiding going to port for any reason.

Then Giles came in. She overheard the muttering and swallowed. No sooner had that happened, then Jewel seemed to want to usher her away. But Kay didn't move. "What can't be right? What's wrong?...Why are you avoiding going to port? Are you in trouble for something? Maybe I could help?..."

Jewel ignores Kay's questions and leaves with Giles. Jewel had to think about what to do next. "Ummm Kay. It's best to leave Jewel alone when she gets like this."

He glances back waiting to Jewel to out range. "she a little crazy. You know. Especially over Hawk. So let me show you around the place. Since it probably going to,be your home until Jewel get her way." Giles liked being a pirate for the most part.

Kay sighed a little in defeat. Well, what else was she going to do? Stay locked up in a room until the wedding? Hardly. It was best to know the layout of the ship so that she could start making plans.

"Alright...show me the ship. Keep in mind though that I'm not terribly comfortable. I don't know if it was just the fever talking, but he said we were in danger here. You'll have to show me otherwise."

Giles couldn't help but laugh at that. "Well, Hawk is in danger. He marrying Jewel." He says joking around. "Alright let show you around. The layout of the ship is standard. Crew quarters are in the back. There is enough quarters right now that we don't have to share at the moment." He points out the ship safety features as they walk around.

"We normally run around 200 crew members. Right now we only have 78. Mostly made up of men. We do have a few female crew mostly of them are married or too ugly. Jewel likes to be the center of attention."

Kay walked along with him, taking in the tour and doing her best to remember it all. The ship was larger than she thought, but held less than half of the crew members required. That was a good thing. It meant that there were more places to hide out.

"Well she has this wedding to keep all of the attention on her. So....what is it that you guys do out here anyways? Jewel was too busy to answer me. And why does she avoid going to port?"

"We do a bunch of things. We haul spice...weapons...prisoners...colonies. Whatever pays the bills." He says as he shows her the cafe. "Food is good. We're pretty causal around here. Everyone knows that Jewel is the boss. You don't mess with her." He didn't know why Jewel didn't want to make port.

"Let's grabs some food." He grabs a tray and goes to the counter. He introduces Kay to Cel and Rose. "This Kay. She's friends with Hawk."

Rose puts some food on their tray. "Good thing you weren't his wife or you would be dead." She says with giggle.

Jewel enterd the medical center looking for Doc. She finds him studying Hawk's blood. "Did you run the test again?" Doc nods. "Yah same results". Jewel curses under her breath. "Maybe he doesn't know,". Doc shakes his head and show her on the monitor Hawk sleeping. Jewel arches an eyebrow. "What am I supposed to be seeing?"

"Just watch"" saids Doc.

Few minutes ago by before Hawl cries out again in terror in his sleep. The droid watching him flies across the hall.

So they were smugglers and suppliers. And it didn't sound as though they had good clients. Or good morals.

Kay picked up a tray and then smirked as Rose gave her food and remarked about marriage to Hawk. "Yeah....lucky me. Double lucky, actually." She carried the tray over to one of the empty tables, leaving Giles to follow her this time. She was hungry. The last thing that she ate was food rations. Kay dug into the meal and it wasn't until she was halfway through that she thought up her next question to ask. "Do you have any Force users for crew? I know of some pirates that do. But then there are others that don't trust Force users at all."

"No, we don't have any force user at all in the crew." He says as he digs into the food. "We weed them out. That isn't a problem for you." He watches her closely. If she only knew what they did to force users. Giles felt bad for them. Not all of them are bad.

"Frak!" A tear shed down her face. "Who else knows?" She asks Doc. "Just the droids. They can have their memories wiped." Jewel nod while biting her lip. "We should wake him. How often is he screaming like that?"

Doc shook his head. "Jewel, he needs his rest. I can put him deeper. That should stop his dreams."

She raised a brow as he spoke. "Weed them out? What do you mean?" Kay studied him as he studied her, worrying now for both Hawk and herself. At least if no other Force user was on board, it could be harder for them to detect them. Unless of course they had other means of detection. Of course she was naive to think that the Force users found among the crew were just not allowed to board.

"Blood test." He whispers to Kay. He had the feeling, she was one of them. A force user. "I had a friend that was positive for it. He went on a mission and never came back." Giles didn't like thinking about it. He didn't want to know what happen. It would be to hard to face.

Doc gave Hawk another sedative to quiet him down. It didn't work. Hawk couldn't wake up from the nightmarish visions. He called out to Kay though the force.

Jewel rushes into room. "Shhhhhh Hawk it will be alright." She run her fingers through his hair. His hair was soaking wet from sweating. "He's burning up."

"Oh..." Now she was worried. They hadn't given her a blood test thankfully. But that didn't mean that they wouldn't. She'd have to have a word with that Doctor.

Kay heard Hawk call for her, though it was faint. She got to her feet. "I should check on Hawk, see if he needs anything to eat. Do you mind showing me the way?" She lifted up the tray in a bid to take it with her, having lost her own appetite.

"Sure. I can show you." He showed her the quickes route to the medical center, "Here you go. Good luck Kay. I'll see ya round." Giles walks away heading to back to work in the hangering bay.

Hawk's screams of terror could be heard outside in the hall.

"Thank you." She followed him through the halls. He seemed to be glad to get away from her. Yet as she heard Hawk's screams she dropped the tray and broke into a run, sliding to the door and opening it. "Hawk! Hawk!" Kay looked to see him having another of those dreams. She ignered Jewel and the Doctor while grabbing Hawk's shoulders and giving him a bit of a shake. "Wake up! It's just a dream, wake up!!" She focused on the Force then, pushing against the part in his mind that would bring him back to consciousness. "Wake up!.."
