They basically became my new family until I found out their connection with the Sith. They ran contraband and sometime captured Jedi. Around that time, I started to have my dream visions. They weren't good one. It was time to leave so I left Jewel on the night before our wedding. I took my ship and left." Hawk knew that Jewel accused him stealing Kamikaze. He didn't buy into that.

Kay reached over and smacked him upside the head. Not hard, mind you. "Hawk that was stupid! You don't just leave like that. No wonder she's pissed....And now I see why you kept your abilities hidden. I'll do the same. But you need to talk to her and apologize."

"Hey." He says playfully protesting the hit. "How am I going to apologize? Oh I'm sorry I didn't want to become your husband and captive on the same day. No..I'm not going to apologize. I'm not sorry I left. She is bad news." He says stubbornly.

"Husband and captive? I don't understand...Are we in danger here? The first port we get to, we'll get away if we have to." This situation seemed to not be going well. But even if she was being taken hostage or something, there was no one to pay for her release.

"Think about it.. She would have out..." He was saying when Jewel walked in. "Found out what?" She asked both of them. "That...I'm in love with you still." He lies though his first teeth. " should have never left."

Kay just gave Jewel an apologetic smile in order to help him with his lie. Yet she still didn't understand why Jewel and her crew would capture Force users and why if she even did find out about Hawk if they got married, why she would hold him captive. Maybe later he'll be able to explain better.

"You know how some people are, Miss Jewel. They get cold feet. And Hawk says that you guys were together for just a few months, so it's understandable..."

Jewel raises an eyebrow at Kay. She wasn't sure if she believed them. "Than lets get married today darling. I love you too." She across over to Hawk and kisses him passionately.

She pulls back and looks into his eyes. "Well.."

It was easy to tell that this was some sort of test. If only Hawk had come up with some other sort of lie. "Get married today? No need to rush into things. It's been awhile, hasn't it? You'll have to be sure that you're still the same people...you know, same personalities, likes and dislikes, that sort of thing."

"That stuff doesn't matter...we will have a lifetime to get to,know each other better." Jewel says with arms still wrapped around Hawk's neck. Hawk felt trapped he didn't know what to say. "Sweetie...doc says I need to rest for a day or so. Than we can get married." He leans in and kisses Jewel pretending that it was his love Leiliani he was kissing.

The kiss convince Jewel. "Alright.. We will marry tomorrow. Kay can help me plan..since she is like a sister to you. Awhile you rest and get better."

"Doctor Hutchinson said a couple of day's rest, not just one. Look at his injuries and he hasn't even been fitted with his new hand yet. So you don't even know if he'll adjust to it right, just yet." Kay was grasping at straws here as she didn't quite know who Jewel and crew were and why they captured Force users.

"And it's been a while. What if you hate eachother? Then you'll both have to deal with getting a divorce, dividing up assets and all of that horrible stuff. I could help plan the wedding if it comes down to it, but you should date first..."

"We aren't going to hate each other Kay. It so sweet that you are worried about us." Jewel says sweetly. "I would kill him before I divorce him." She gives Hawk a little kiss.

Hawk laughs a little uncomfortable at Jewel last comment.

" let the poor man rest Jewel." Says the Doc as he walks back in with a new hand for Hawk.

Just what types of girls did Hawk get involved with? Crazy ones. How he was ever convinced of marriage in the first place was beyond her.

Thankfully the Doctor walked in. "Yes he needs rest and no stress. Weddings are stressful. So let's not worry about him about it."

Jewel smirks. She whispers in Hawk's ear. "I think sh was a crush on you." Hawk makes a face. "No. She doesn't" He yawns and rubs his eyes. He want faking completely. He was tired.

"Let me tuck you into our bed." She purred. Doc shook his head. "He stay here.Jewel he really needs his rest.." Jewel nods. "Oh alright." She helps Hawk into a bunk in the medical center. She.kisses him again on the lips and forehead. It felt warm. "Poor baby. Take good care of him." She tells doc as she leave.

She pauses in front of door. "Oh Kay..lets meet in 30 minutes to discuss the wedding." She turns and walks out of the medical center.

She just watched, glad that Hawk was going to get some rest and maybe be fitted with his new hand. But as Jewel gave her just thirty minutes instead of a couple of days rest as well, she merely nodded. "Yes Ma'am..."

After she left, Kay looked to Hawk. "We're in a lot of trouble ..aren't we?"

"Yeah. We are." He says as Doc gently pull his wounded arm out from under the sheet. "Kay you don't want to keep her waiting." Doc ignores their conversation as he works. The arm wasn't fitting correctly. He was going to have to remove more of Hawk arm to get a precise fit. "Miss Kay you should leave now." Says Doc as he gives Hawk a shot to put him asleep while he works.

Jewel wasn't fooled by Hawk and Kay. She was going to marry him. No one leaves her at the alter and gets away with it. She sits down outside the medical center going over a few supplies order.

Kay sighed a little. She thought she had a half hour to try to figure something out. But oh well. There'll be time for that later, hopefully.

She stepped out into the hallway, a little surprised at seeing Jewel right there. "..Hawk is getting more surgery. I hope it helps him." For his sake. He'll need it if he wanted to help escape.

"Glad to hear it. Doc will take good care of him." She switched on her data pad, "I'm going to make you my maid of honor." She stands and walks down the corridor. Knowing that Kay will follow her, "I'm going to show you my dress. I kept the one from the last time. Since Hawk never saw it." She was hurt that Hawk ran off last time. She wasn't pretending that.

Kay stood there for a moment or two as Jewel walked down the corridor, before deciding to catch up. "..How did you two meet? And what is it that you guys worked on together? I haven't had much tine to ask him."

"It's a cute story how we met. He rescue me. This guy had follow me outside of the bar and shoved me in an alley. He was going to..." She trails off. "Anyways.. Hawk came out of nowhere and killed him. Just like that. He didn't want anything. Just wanted to make sure I was all right." Her eyes shine with her love for Hawk.

"He was walked me home. Just never left. We were inseparable for almost a year." They had made it to Jewel's room. The door slide open. Her room was big and spacious. She enjoy life's luxury. A picture of her and Hawk was on her bedside table. "That us on Tatoonie with the Suns setting in the background.

Kay listened to the story as they walked, stepping inside of Jewel's room. This was a woman that was quite well off and used to getting what she wanted. "Nearly a year? Hawk told me that it was just a few months. But he is injured with a fever, so I'm sure that the details of many memories are sketchy."

She clasped her hands in front of her. "You said that you had a dress, but you'll need more than that. And are you to wed on this ship? Or...shouldn't we go somewhere pretty? And...a different place than the last time. No need to draw up bad memories...What is it that you guys do, exactly? What line of work are you in?"
