"Nothing. Legal." It was going to take them a few days. It might be easier to just steal it. It wasn't something he was prepare to do. He lead her over to the blackjack table. He sits down. He flashes the lady dealer a friendly smile.

"Sit darling. This is game even you can play." He gives Kay some chips. Waitress walks by and ask him if he wanted a drink. He places an order for a beer. "The lady will have white wine."

Kay smirked as Hawk treated her like she was an idiot. Of course he was teasing, but she wondered if the dealer knew. "I'll just watch you for a couple of rounds and learn how to play."

She raised a brow as he ordered for her. And a white wine?? He knew full well that she always drank tea. She hated alcohol and they needed to keep their wits about them. Maybe she'll just pretend to drink it. "I'm surprised that you didn't ask to be sure that it came from a box."

Hawk chuckled. "Now darling I know you like the finest wine. The box stuff is like drinking tea. Not good enough for you." He lifted her hand and gave it a kiss. He was playing the role of big time player. Just in case anyone was watching so far everyone was buying it. Now it was time for Kay to play her part.

The dealer smiled at the couples antics. Hawk played five games. Winning most of them. Card tables were mostly honest in Hawk's opinion.

Of course he would make fun of her tea drinking. Why wouldn't he? She put on a smile as he kissed her hand. "And this is why I married you last year. You know how to take care of me." She played it as though they were newlyweds on their first year together. That way if there was a bit of awkwardness, then there was an explanation for it.

Kay started to play by the sixth hand. She half wondered if there was high stakes card games going on elsewhere. Perhaps Nate would be going to one of those.

"Here I thought you married me for my body." He loved needling Kay. It was so much fun. The waitress places in the drink order beside them. Hawk flips her a chip. Than takes a long drink of his beer.

Nate grew tired of winning on the slots machine. He wandered around looking for a dice game. He past by Kay and Hawk playing the couple. Even he could tell it was forced. Near the center of the casino, he found his dice table.

Kay smirked. "Well there's that too. You got me there." She watched while he took a long drink of his beer. Hopefully he didn't get himself too intoxicated. She picked up her wine and pretended to have a sip, only letting the liquid touch her lips.

She lost her first hand, but nearly jumped out of her seat as she won the second. "I did it!" Of course she didn't bet much, but it was a start.

Hawk smiles as she gets excited about winning. "That great. Keep it up and you can buy those shoes you wanted." He places another bet. He frown at his cards. They weren't what he expected. He knew that counting cards wasn't a science. "When I married her I didn't realize what a clothes horse she was.m she must have 200 shoes." He comments to the dealer.

She rolled her eyes at his comments on shoes. "You're just jealous that I might love my shoes more than you. And remember....a happy wife is a happy life." She looked at her card. It could go either way. Hmm. She threw caution to the wind and bet double of the last hand.

"Frak!" He says as his hand is busted. He tries not to winces when Kay's double her bet. He holds his breath as Kay is dealt another card. "Blackjack!" He cries out. He gives her a kiss right on the mouth in his excitement. It was like kissing a sister. Ugh. It made him wish that [member="Leilani Paaie"] was here when Zelton woman passed by their table.

Kay just blinked in surprise as he kissed her! And right on the lips! Ewww!!! She wanted to wash her mouth out! Of course she couldn't, but eww! She pushed him away. "Now honey, you know that I get too embarrassed about kissing in public." She picked up her wine and took a small sip. "Shall we try a different game so that you can have a chance at winning too?"

"Sorry Darling, I forgot in all my excitement. Never see you win anything. Lady is on fire tonight." He finishes his beer while trying not to check out some of the sexy women in the area. The Zelton that had walk by was using her pheromones to distract gamblers.

"No, you play. I'm gonna sit out a couple of hands."

A crowd had gathered around Nate's dice game. He was winning big.

Kay smirked a little as he commented on her not winning much of anything. "Well I certainly won you, didn't I?" She looked to the dealer and smirked. "Men. They sure don't lose very well."

So she played the next few rounds, losing one hand while winning the other two. At least she doubled what she came with. Wasn't much, but it was something.

Kay heard the crowd cheering and looked over in their direction, catching a small glimpse of Nate. "Someone is having a good night."

"yeah good for them." He says as he loses another hand. "Ugh. Let's try our luck playing the slots." They had been playing for a couple of hours, they had triple their own winning.

Time to step things up. Maybe win a few big jackpots at the slots.

Kay smirked a little. "Sure. You might have better odds there." She got to her feet and whispered to the dealer. "He can be a bit of a sore loser." She then laughed and winked as she got to her feet, picking up her chips and leaving her drink behind as she headed over to the slots with Hawk.

Hawk walked along row after row of the slot machines. He was looking for a certain one. "Ahhh there it is darling. That a lucky one." He placed a few credits in it. He played the maximum amounts. He touched the machine and pulled the lever. He lossed. For the next 30 minutes, he played the machine winning a little..losing a lot.

It was time for a big pay off. The machine was progressive pot. The jacket pot was 500,000 credits. "We are going to win this time. I know it." He pulls the lever. Holding his breath. They had won. "JACKPOT."

Kay stood beside him during that half hour. At times she looked bored, while at other times she watched with anticipation. It wasn't until Hawk shouted 'jackpot' that others took notice.

"Yes! I can finally get a proper ring!!" She hoped that would bring a few chuckles. Hopefully with a pot that big, they could get out of here. But first they would have to try to find Nate. And cash in their winnings.

"Wooohoooo. Told you that I was lucky!." He gave her a big hug and kiss. People around them cheered and laugh at them. Casino security and associates came help them collect their winning. "Come with us." They escorted the couple to the checkout counter. "We need to see your id." Hawk glances at Kay as he hands his id over. The lady looks at his id closely. "Congratulations Dr Hawkins". She hands Hawk his id back.

By the Force, he kissed her again...She did her best to not look weirded out by it. She hung onto his arm as they walked through the crowds to cash out, high fiving those that passed them by cheering. It was nearly over. She could get back to normal soon.

As they cashed out, Kay looked around, wondering what happened to Nate. "Should we go back to the hotel?"

He could tell that Kay was little gross out by the kiss. He noticed due to them knowing each other so well. It wasn't like he was enjoying it. They have to play the part of happy married couple.

"Yes darling let's go back to the hotel." The casino was going to put them up in their penthouse suite for nothing. It was part of the package. Hawk glance around and spotted Nate with his arm around a sexy woman.

They walked by Nate and his conquest. Hawk sent a message through the force that they were done for the day. Nate gave a slight nod as he whisper something that made the woman giggle. Nate told them both to go ahead. He would meet them soon.

Again Kay hung onto his arm. Her feet were starting to hurt and she just couldn't wait to get out of those shoes
and into normal clothes. Getting out of public view was also a good thing.

She glanced over to Nate and then when he was behind her, she rolled her eyes, whispering under her breath, "Like father, like son." There was no way that she was going to be like any of them, even if that meant being alone for the rest of her life. Besides, she still loved Shaw too much to betray his memory like that.

Once they were finally inside the penthouse suite, she kicked off her shoes and went into one of the bedrooms to get changed. "Thank the Force that's over....It is over, right?"
