Private Field Trip

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
It had been a long time since Kay had left her shoppe on Altiria/Anarris. It wasn't due to a lack of funds, for there was more than enough in her coffers. No, it was mostly to do with fear and despair. So much pain, so much loss, so little regard for herself since her Force-bond was severed. Kay's late husband tried to give her a pep talk and as always she felt more confident around him, however soon after his Force ghost had disappeared, the dark cloud of despair returned.

Outside of her tea shoppe what else did she have to offer the Galaxy? She couldn't get into politics again. That door was shut and bolted locked as soon as Commenor fell to the Sith. She wasn't a soldier to join up in the countless wars to die like many of the other nameless ones out there. Her options were minimal, and at the cureent time she couldn't see any kind of prospect for her future.

Maybe a new change of scenery was best? Ages ago in her Senator years she had been gifted a little cottage on Naboo. Maybe it was still there?

With the help of her newly purchased Loader Droid, Kay had boarded up and closed her tea shoppe. All of her varieties of teas and their ingredients were secured underground for safekeeping. However small portions of the more friendly kinds were packed with her spare clothes. The pair took the next series of transport ships that would take them all the way to Naboo.

Hopefully this little venture would help.

The healing factor wasn't so bad, it was the after effects that hindered the Jedi Master. Perhaps it was stress from the battle or the wounds. They had taken their toll on the fifty year old Jedi Master. He was well on his way to returning to who he once was. It was gonna take more time though. Luckily John had been gracious enough to extend courtesy in his job duties and Locke and Key for a bit. He was in the office most of the day, warehouse visits and the like would plague him sometimes.

However he was on a venture back to Naboo, he and his wife were on a mission of sorts. Granted she wasn't with him this time. She was at home doing things on her end. Kahne was quite excited about this. It was getting them back out there in the field. The Jedi Master took a deep breath as he glanced towards the woman next to him, while she looked incredibly familiar.

He knew this transport was heading towards Naboo, but then had another destination it would venture too.

"You stopping up at Naboo, or you heading further?" Kahne inquired. "Whatever your stop may be, I hope it goes smoothly." The Jedi said with a small respectful nod of his head. Still with the idea that he had seen her somewhere before.

Kay was off in her own world during the trip. During some of it she was reading mystery holo-novels on her datapad, and at other times she lightly dozed in her chair. When Kahne Porte Kahne Porte had sat down next to her, she had hardly noticed for she was too absorbed in the story.

Her loader droid Ned-V that was sitting on the other side of her kept track of those coming and going. With him to watch out for her, Kay had given herself permission to relax. However she still kept her Force signature small in size, like that of a small tree nut. There was little that she knew about the goings on outside of Altiria/Annaris these days. Force users could be hunted down for all she knew. It was better to be safe than sorry.

"Hmm?" It took Kay a few moments to register what the man had said. She peeled her eyes away from her datapad and returned the nod to him. He was probably bored with the travel and had decided to engage with some smalltalk. She was rather used to that with customers at her shoppe. "Naboo. I have a cottage there that I haven't visited in a while. What about yourself?"

The puzzlement in his eyes was unmistakeable. There was a glimmer of familiarity to them, something that she had hoped to avoid. So she dove right into a bit of deflection. "I'm Cessy....Cessy Bridon. And you are?" Kay held out her hand for him to shake.
