TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Classification: Multipurpose

Resistances
- Blasters (And other plasma type weapons): Average
- Kinetic: None
- Lightsabers: How much protection does the armor provide against this type of damage? Low
- Knives/Projectiles: Low
- Elements (cold weather, rain, ect): Average

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Packable hood: folds into the collar when not in use
- Waterproof coating: keeps the leather in good condition and keeps the wearer dry
- Removable quilted liner: this additional liner snaps inside, to add extra warmth when needed
- Protera interlining: Offers additional protection from blasters, glancing blows (sabers, knives, slugs)

Strengths:
- Minor protection: the Protera interlining that is built into the jacket makes this a cut above normal coats by providing average protection against blasters and glancing bows (sabers, slugs, knives).
- Warm: the jacket is perfect for mild weather, but a removable quilted liner may be added for additional warmth.

Weaknesses:
- Limited area: only protects the arms, torso, and neck.
- Not armor: while the coat does offer a bit of protection against attacks, it is still vulnerable to punctures, stabs, slugs, and sabers -- direct/multiple attacks will break through.
- Not made for extreme cold: this coat is best suited for everyday use, not for facing harsh climates.

DESCRIPTION
The Field Jacket is standard issue for the Antarian Rangers. The design was made to be simple and utilitarian, well-suited to the soldier lifestyle. The jacket is crafted with a leather outer shell that offers a stylish and rugged appearance. A clean-cut design leaves room for personalization; while there is a small Antarian Rangers insignia on the breast pocket, additional patches may be sewn on by the wearer. There is a concealed hood that can be zipped away into the collar for when it is not needed, four exterior pockets with button closures, and one hidden interior pocket. The mid-waist of the jacket features a drawstring for an adjustable fit. For added warmth, there is a quilted liner layer that may be snapped into the coat or removed during warm weather.

In order to keep the fit comfortable, there is a single layer of Protera sewn between the leather shell and the lining fabric. This will easily help to disperse energy-based attacks (blasters). And while it may help protect against glancing blows from slugs, knives, and sabers – it will not protect well against direct hits from these weapons. At the end of the day, this item is best suited to casual wear, not for battle situations.

From the Armor Template:
Production: The scale is Unique (Only One Character), Semi-Unique (Maximum of 10 characters), Limited (Only one small group of characters. IE: Small task force, not entire factions.), Minor (Large groups of characters. (IE: Multiple factions, companies, or groups.), Mass-Produced. (Anyone.) Characters refer to NPCs & PCs. For armor utilizing restricted materials please review their production limits here.)
Based on this, if you want to keep limited production, I think that we're going to have to be more specific about who gets this.

In my personal opinion, you could avoid this by making this Minor or Mass-Produced. There isn't any feature here in it that would necessitate it having limited production.
