Upon detonation, the grenade disperses an ultra-fine aerosol cloud that rapidly enters the respiratory system of unprotected targets.
  
  Within seconds, victims experience complete neuromuscular failure, collapsing into unconsciousness or full-body paralysis for one to two minutes, long enough for capture or relocation. While non-lethal at designed doses, prolonged exposure or high-concentration deployments can cause lingering disorientation.
