Lightning Bolt- Feng's heavily modified Eta 2200 Jedi Interceptor. She's stripped some of the defences such as Flares, 29 L ECM Package for standard Jammer and the Burner Deflector Shield. In order to boost the speed to Very High. Feng primarily made these modifications so that she could race her interceptor.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
How does your character act? How do they think? Do they have any deeply held beliefs or phobias?
Feng's greatest fear is falling to the dark side. She knows her path is a treacherous one, she also knows it's the path that's right for her despite it's perils. Like all purple bladed lightsaber wielders, she dances on the edge of the dark side. That precarious balance on the edge. She doesn't do this out of hatred or fear, though her rage can be an issue. She does it so that she won't cross that final bridge over to the dark side.
Feng enjoys the fight, the challenge, the victory and this scares her. She scolds herself for it telling herself to be more like her Master Wu always so composed, but then she knew from the beginning the life of a monk wasn't her path in life.
She wants to be a Jedi, attuned to the force. She also wants to live life to the fullest, work on ships, explore the stars, fight for what's right, have friends… maybe fall in love.
Master Wu says everyone has their own path in life, she needs to find her own path. It's why he's so understanding, letting her have her purple blade, even accepting her reclaiming of herself with purple hair, purple starfighter, purple hover racing bike. She knows he would have preferred to stay out of galactic politics but he's made sacrifices for her to help her find her place amongst the Jedi.
The only time Feng comes close to peace is when she's racing, it's the closest thing to peaceful combat that she can find, the thrill, the rush, the challenge, the competition, the victory. Pitting yourself against another opponent, risking everything on your skill alone. Only nobody dies.
It's only have battle and the rush of victory, that she feels the cost. Master Wu insists that after every battle they spend some time in the hospital tent. At first it made her sullen and guilty, now she's grateful for it. She wishes she had more talent at healing, but she does her best as a nurse.
Feng isn't sure what path of Jedi she should explore, she knows Master Wu thinks she'd be a good Pathfinder and it's an option she's genuinely interested in but then so is being a Jedi Guardian or maybe even a Jedi Shadow.
Feng tries to meditate in the garden but the truth is she her best concentration when she's working on an engine, maybe occasionally spray painting a piece of art. Feng also really enjoys music.
STRENGTHS
Combat- Feng is a bit of a prodigy when it comes to combat, her favoured form is a Shien Makashi mix. Though she has been half considering half fearing that perhaps she should seek a Vaapad teacher.
Pilot- Feng is one hell of a pilot, she's most happy when she's in the cockpit whether it be in a race or a starfighter.
WEAKNESSES
Something to Prove- Feng always has something to prove whether it be in combat, in mastery of the Force, in her worthiness for her Master, in her piloting skills, in her classes, in her mechanical, art and music and most of all proving that she won't fall to the dark side.
Uncertainty- Feng is uncertain about herself, her future, her abilities and her place in the galaxy. The kind of uncertainty a Sith or even an insightful agent could exploit to their advantage.
HISTORY
Feng Huang was born in the Aakaash system, her father was a mechanic in one of the slums. Feng grew up around ships and how to fix them, but she always had a thirst for adventure. Her older brother was her idol though, he was a street racer, hover bikers, speeders, podracing, swoop bikes there was nothing he couldn't pilot. Her brother was also a smuggler and always promise to take her with him some day.
Then one day her brother got in trouble with some local hoods. He never came home. Feng kicked up a fuss, going to the gang hangout and started yelling, then kicking, then biting, then she tapped into something deep and screamed unleashing a wave of the Force as she did so, hurling the hoodlums off of their feet. Feng's father was scared for her so packed up to his family home a rice paddy farm
The rice paddy farm was peaceful, but it was like Feng had unlocked something inside of herself, she was angry all the time, sullen, withdrawn. Gone was the happy child who searched for adventures, who painted her fathers workshop and sang loudly off key to music through her headphones.
Then one day when she was thirteen the village was attacked by pirates they said if they didn't pay the tribute they'd burn the whole village to the ground. The village sent out a distress call for fighters seven came. Among them a Jedi. He was kind, played with the children, even managed to reach the sullen silent girl that Feng had become. Letting her play with his engine. He introduced himself as Wu. The battle and fighting was fierce, the pirates were defeated at heavy cost. Feng's father was killed in the fighting. The moment he was killed, she unleashed her fury. Lightning came out of her fingers. Wu was the only one who reached her with a mix of telepathy and force healing. She passed out from exhaustion.
When she awoke Wu was making her breakfast. Feng ate it silently. Wu waited patiently. Evantually she asked what now?
Wu took a breath and explained the Force had been unlocked inside her, that there were two sides to the force the light side and the dark side, if she wasn't careful the dark side would consume her, until she became like the men who had attacked the village and killed her father.
Feng started crying saying she didn't want to be bad. Wu assured her she wasn't and hugged her, letting her cry. Wu apologised and said he didn't mean to scare her. That if she liked he could teach her just enough to let the Force fade.
"Will that work?" Feng asked sniffling
Wu smiled sadly and said unfortunately with such a strong talent as hers there was always a risk that it could come up again.
"There is another option. I could train you, to be my padawan. You could grow to protect other people like your father from bad people" Wu offered
Feng looked at Wu and nodded firmly.
At first Master Wu tried to teach her at an isolate temple, just as he was taught… but that didn't work for long. Feng barely spoke she attended her studies, but their was no joy in her life. After a year of force control exercises and basic training one day Master Wu decided Feng needed people her own age with similar abilities. Master Wu considered the options carefully and decided Kattada Temple was the correct choice for them. Master Wu even committed them to the High Republic. Feng knew enough about Master Wu to know that he was a solantery creature of habit, and insisted she didn't need it, but Master Wu insisted right back.
Feng found something at Kattada she hadn't had since she was a child. Friends. Master Wu kept telling her she needed to find her own path. She eventually knew a step in that direction. She knew she had an inner darkness to her but she was sick of hiding from it, denying that it existed wasn't working, but neither did she want to give in. She realised that the purple path was the right path for her. Feng told Master Wu with tears in her eyes dreading that she would have to find a new master.
Master Wu smiled gently and said that he was glad she had found her path. Master Wu took her on her quest to build her lightsaber. It was their first real mission together.
Once she had made it Master Wu said she was ready for the two of them to go on missions together. First though Feng accessorised and gave herself a new look, purple died hair and a gold racing jacket.
At first Master Wu took her to a field hospital telling her if she learned how to take life she should learn how to preserve it. Feng struggled hard, but Force healing never clicked the way it did for others, so she made up for it by becoming the best nurse she could.
Master Wu then accompanied her through the aftermath of a battlefield, she had thought her village had been bad. She almost flew into a rage, almost made a vow to wreak vengeance and punish those responsible. Then something interesting happened she felt the passion, but she also felt the calm, two emotions balancing each other out. Feng simply rolled up her sleeves and said how can we help.
That was when finally Master Wu took her on the battlefield. It was a rush, a thrill, a challenge, a victory… it was also horrible, brutal, atrocious, grief fuelled. After the battle Feng wasn't sure whether she should celebrate being alive or cry in a corner, but Master Wu said their duty was not done and took her to the wounded.
That became their tradition seeing to the wounded after each and every battle.
Now Feng Huang's Jedi Trials are coming up and she is wondering what path to Jedi Knight. It is an important decision one in which she hopes she chooses wisely. Hopes that she makes her Master proud.
