- Sith Lord: Fellsong was once a powerful Sith Lord born long before the events of Chaos. In his attempt to forge a Force Nexus into his blade, he wound up binding his soul to the weapon. As such, it has many of the powers you'd associate with a Lord of the Sith.
- Telepathy: Can communicate with its wielder through telepathy. If the wielder is capable of melding minds or communicating with others in a similar fashion, the blade can talk to those individuals as well.
- Soul Devour: When Fellsong strikes another down, it interrupts the process of the soul moving from the world of the living to the dead. It consumes the soul and strengthens the wielder for a short time.
- Soul Gem: Souls consumed by the blade are stored in the corrupted kyber crystal located at its hilt.
- Force Portal: The weapon is capable of tearing open a temporary hole within the force, allowing the wielder to step within and travel through it to other areas not dampened or nullified by the effects of something like a ysalamir.
- Force Light? More like Force Night: Unlike typical dark side artifacts which can be ruined by the effects of Force Light, Fellsong corrupts the power of the light and consumes it.
- Forceslayer: Any creature attuned to the force killed by this weapon will strengthen it and its wielder.
- Force Strength: The weapon naturally imbues with wielder with the strength necessary to swing around the massive weapon.
- Immortal: It's a sword. So long as the gem holding Lord Fellsong's sword is not destroyed, it will live on eternally, even healing itself when necessary.
- Aura of Insanity: The wielder is constantly under the strain of madness. Inevitably, the mind will break.
- Aura of Life Drain: If the wielder does not feed the blade, they will soon find themselves wasting away, slowly consumed by the weapon.
- Sentience: The weapon is what remains of a powerful Sith Lord. Anyone who finds themselves drawn to the blade lose control of their body and are enslaved by the weapon's will. This is untrue for light siders.
- Free Will: It'll just kill its wielder or leave whenever it wants, to be honest with you.
- Force-Be-Gone: As with all other force-attuned items, if it is under the effects of a ysalamir, none of its abilities will function.
- Hungry: If it isn't fed, its abilities will also cease to function.
