Feedback on Darth Lykos

Hi all.

Xavka, or, rather Darth Lykos, is my first character on the site since I joined a year ago and, probably, my most favourite. I know that I haven’t written to many people nor made a big splash on the site, but I am curious as to what people think of him, so I set this thread up. Since I've been on my most recent LOA it's been harder for me to keep him from becoming a cliche, so, any feedback or critique, even if it exceedingly negative, I will welcome, just as I will welcome any advice on how to have Xavka grow as a character.

He is a pretty complex character, one that is interesting to observe but hard to interact with IC. I don't mean that in a bad way, I actually like that his behaviour sometimes comes of as random and erratic (while it actually isn't), as it fits what I imagine was your vision behind him. Post are always in great detail and also very well written.

I always like seeing and reading posts about him but I often struggle on how to let Abyss interact with him, without the OOC knowledge that he is often playing a role. It's basically the longest long con I have seen in a while, and the only way of reacting on it without going full meta is to let Abyss only recognize him as some kind of lunatic lol.

All in all a great character, I don't have much feedw for you. Maybe make the size of you font a bit larger, sometimes its a bit hard to read for me, but most times its not lol so it doesn't really matter much.

[member="Darth Abyss"]'s analysis of Xavka is actually really good. He always stood apart from other members of the SA in his behaviors and mannerisms. He strikes me as an assassin that perhaps isn't the best combatant or wielder of the force, but his wisdom and the fact that he always seems to know what to do put him on par with blademasters such as Ferus or sorcerers such as Ajihad. He reminds me of a monk or something of the sort. He's not the type of character I would normally label as assassin material, but you've worked him into the role quite well.

[member="Darth Lykos"] As surely as I have my limitations as a writer, you do too. I feel that implementing any criticism anyone would offer should take one's limitations into account. What is the stuff you cannot write about?

Truly, nothing really. There are subjects that I am and always will be hesitant in writing, which I will not be going into detail about, but, so long as I can see story reasons behind events, so long as I can see a reason and purpose behind involving or hinting at those subjects, I will do so. That said, I wouldn't enjoy writing those posts. Does that make sense?

Just to hedge my bets and insure that I'm answering your question correctly, I just thought I'd tag this bit on at the end. What I tend to be hesitant about is writing about what I don't know for fear of not doing these things a just portrayal. But, in the end, I will always try my best.
