Like her ancestors before her, Faye was allowed to dawn the suit of armor current Mandalorians cherish today, yet it's her own. The pride of her life, she calls it.
The suit of armor is outfitted with everything she should need in the heat of battle. The insulted undersuit along with the beskar and ciridium plating allows for further mobility yet still having the ability to tank energy and kinetic attacks. The undersuit aligned with durinium allows for stealth capabilities under a radar, but no for too long as constant movement under radar might give her away while in the suit. The helmet, outfitted with radar and a HUD, allows for greater tracking and organization of weapons and other gear than with her bare senses. The capacitance banks allow for resistance to some EMP damage, yet not full coverage as being hit with a powerful EMP or under an EMP for a limited period will cause the suit to shut down.
Yet suit itself contains its own flaws. Gaps in the armor plating allow for more mobility, yet it leaves the areas only protected by the undersuit, leaving that area exposed and very vulnerable. Even though the suit is as light as she could have it, the weight still takes a toll on her body as the suits plating is heavy. Extended use of the armor will tire Faye and weigh her down, becoming a static target. And although lightsaber attacks may be fine against the armor plating, she is still susceptible to attacks on the non covered areas.
The armor, built to the liking of Faye Australis, has kept her safe in many encounters over her years, acting like a second skin. It puts her up to par with the many great Mandalorians before her, and she hopes to live up to the legacy with the armor that she possesses.
