SPECIAL FEATURES

• Can be fitted with a small targeting computer and software
• Extended gas chamber to fit more Tibana gas and thus increase shot count (mainly turrets)

Strengths:

• Rapid Fire: Designed to be on star fighter or turrets arrays the FAW-2 is fast to fire making one able to land hits easier and suppress enemies.
• Fast Movement: Like all small laser cannons the FAW-2 is fast moving an able to keep pas with fighters and small craft and can be used in an Anti-star fighter role.

Weaknesses:

• Penetration: Being a laser cannon the FAW-2 is not made for engaging with capital shops or heavily armored ground vehicles (like AT-ATs).

DESCRIPTION
Once again with in the interest of supply and demand and possible war time factors making the access of laser cannons supplied by other companies unavailable Harley and CO, Logistics Incorporated (HCLI, umbrella term for HLCS and HSCS). As such the company went about making a new all purpose laser cannon that can be mounted on turrets, capital ships (singular of batteries) and good old fashion fighter weapons. The included option of a targeting computer and enlarged gas camber makes the cannon a just above your average weaponry.

They're both very similar technologies and broadly similar in terms of damage over time. However, blaster cannons tend to have a high rate of fire with individually weak bolts, whereas laser cannons tend to have a slower rate of fire with more powerful bolts.
