Her Legacy
INDUSTRIAL QUARTER
Naboo
---
The industrial quarter on the outskirts of Naboo had long since fallen out of regular use -- at least this part. Naboo had become the center of the High Republic, and the High Republic had been expanding; still a relatively new force, but they had gained significant ground. What once supported trade and transport now stood in partial abandonment, or rather was marked for being repurposed later. Durasteel warehouses, silent loading cranes, power lines humming with inconsistent current. It was far enough from Shiraya's Sanctuary to avoid attention, but within reach to remain deliberate.
One of these warehouse's still had power.
Inside, the lighting was low and uneven, strips along the ceiling flickering; tired. Cargo containers sat stacked along the perimeter like makeshift walls, but they were worn in appearance to. Decommissioned things, all inert but looming. The main floor was still clear. Just open space mostly.
The massive entry doors were unlocked.
Romi was already there, and she thought this was a good spot for Briana to meet her. She knew she had stuff she had to get off her chest...but she was also apart of an equation she had been working out years ago. She had come into her own, but she was...and would always be her student.
They were free of council chambers, dramatics, witnesses, and titles. They could speak freely.
Only durasteel, rough shadows, and whatever Briana and herself had carried with her since the truth came out would be in the room with them.
