TLDR: Cain is a force vampire who is a wee bit hungry at the moment. Feel free to intervene however you want.

Cain's cloak was growing exceptionally large on her.

It hadn't even been a week since her last victim and already her body had managed to shed nearly half its lean muscle, leaving an almost skeletal figure swimming under folds of black silk. Evidently, that was cause for concern. It seemed her body was demanding more, yanking handfuls of her brain's synapses to try and steer her towards her next whale fall.

And she needed a whale fall.

Her kills had grown more frequent in order to meet growing demand. Too frequent for any proper damage control. The trail of bodies was slowly turning into a huge red arrow looming just above her head and all she could do was string it along, letting the breadcrumb trail wind and fold around the city.

At the beginning she’d managed to be more careful, humane even, only leaving withered husks without any identifiable wounds. But she couldn't muster up the same patience for everyone.

And certainly not for whoever stumbled across her path next.

Silver eyes flicked around... bodies were never a good sign... leaving them out like that worse so. It drew attention and as she moved with the small droid K2 beeped. "I know." She said it with a look at him and let thescents on the air come to her. Dark hair blowing when she moved quickly enough and Sarayashiki on her back. It gave the look of just another person passing by. "They are young, likely not caring... which causes problems for the rest of us." She said it with a small snarl to her voice... stopping only to scent the air and move almost bonelessly through a crowd. K2 moving with her and getting a small path as most dind't notice an astromech and he kept his weapons concealed. She ran through her mind the few specioes who could or would do this and the sanguine loved playing human usually, gaarhoons were vicious but they were also addictive so they had food that willingly came. Anzati wouldn't leave a trail like this aand energy vampires were much the same. THe La-Dab were nasty at times but they took food for their queens into the tunnels.... she would just have to see what was there.

Cain stumbled into the mouth of an alley, eyes sunken and vision blurred. She couldn't wait much longer; she was tearing through her energy stores with every breath, her own life force rapidly dimming.

Leaning against a wall for support, the twitching remains of her conscious were able to make out a couple as they approached from her left. Typically, she avoided pairs, it was never worth the risk of one slipping away and raising alarms.

But the girl wasn't exactly thinking straight.

A hand disappeared beneath her cloak before emerging with a blade. Her bony knuckles wrapped around the object with an unprecedented amount of force, as she pushed away from the wall and slipped in behind the couple.

She raised the knife.

She continued moving, allowing the force to guide her while she was following her instincts. The scent of blood was one thing but also the scents of power... predation was important and Sawa slunk into the shadows as she stalked letting herself become still and silent. A couple in the distance while she watched and hitched her breathing. SHe sensed her there for a moment and took in the form before she moved one hand coming out while she pulled with the force at the couple to get them away and aware. HEr body moving forward with a more unnatural movement and speed while looking at the knife. Her upper lips rising in a warning as two delicate fangs snapped into place more like a serpent. Silvery eyes going golden fire. "Enough."

The dagger hit the ground with a poignant clang.

Sawa would quickly see the perpetrator looked rather underwhelming. Almost like some malnourished street urchin caught in the middle of a failed mugging. Point being, no one would look at her and immediately assume "cannibal."

The couple quickly gathered their bearings and darted away, taking their fear and confusion with. Cain watched them go with beady eyes before turning her attention back on Sawa. Her face gave away nothing, no fear, no anger, just hollowed cheeks and fiery eyes.

She simply watched the woman before her, waiting patiently for a development.

She looked at her and moved forward.. eyes never leaving the woman while she circled to the side. "No control, needlessly slaughtering women, children.. anything you come across. Like a child smashing their toys." She said it and was looking at her while she came closer. "We move among ourr food child... carefully arousing their suspicion does not benefit us. It brings their fears and their fears bring out a need to destroy and we have the chance for comfortable lives." She said it and walked more before she stopped. "NOw talk child and tell me what you use to bring this about?"

Cain's eyes trailed the woman as she winded herself around the girl. She had a lot to say, like a teacher criticizing a misbehaving student. It was enough to get Cain pause, and not immediately go for the woman's jugular.

"We?" A comfortable life? Who did she believe she was talking to?

"I don't know" The girl rasped out honestly to her other remark, her voice scraping together like cut violin strings.

She looked at her more and debated being sarcaastic about it. Her nostrils flaring for a moment. "Come child... I am surprised no one has found you from the stench alone." She said it and started walking back around and didn't look back. She was prepared for a fight but easier if she just followed but moving until she found a place to sit and relaxed her body. Silvery eyes tracking the people who were around as well as her senses. "What is your name?" She said it and calling her something was better then just child or as she was acting a mad dog... one needed to at least have a little benefit.
