  The scouring of the Uba system by the Old Republic is a catastrophe that ripples through the ages. Republic bureaucrats, afraid of the newly uplifted Ubese, committed preemptive strikes against the natives. All planets in the system, aside from Uba IV, became destroyed or heavily irradiated beyond habitable levels. The Republic covered up this attrocity, but the Ubese would not forget.
  
  Faroussh was born on the radioactive Uba IV. Hailing from this world, Faroussh's ancestry made him one of the so-called "True Ubese". This is opposed to the yrak pootzck that were spirited to Ubertica, weaklings free from having to survive in the wastes. Like many others of his species born on Uba IV, Faroussh was raised in a nomadic tribe.
  
  In his younger years, he was taught the ways of survival. Life on the irradiated death world made it necessary for all Ubese children to be ready for the harsh reality. Faroussh learned how to hunt, repair technology, and be wary of dangers. He was much more fortunate than some of his siblings, as many did not survive past childhood.
  
  When he was of age, he decided to make a name for himself. He was particularly inspired by an ancient member of his clan, a hunter by the name of Boushh. Heading out into the greater Galaxy, Faroussh decided to further train as a bounty hunter and joined the Guild. There, he was mentored by an old Trandoshan named Thrassc.
  
  Under the tutelage of Thrassc, Faroussh built upon his skills to become a truly effective bounty hunter. He saw many opportunities to offer his new talents. Yet, only one client stood out to him: the Hutt Cartel. The Hutt families paid quite handsomely for their jobs. As such, Faroussh has offered himself almost exclusively to the Hutt Cartel as a hunter and enforcer.
  
  As the Hutts rebuild their empire after the Bryn'adul occupied their worlds, Faroussh has joined in helping them retake their place in the Galaxy. He is tentative about the so-called Consortium with the other syndicates, but he will abide by his employer's wishes. Who knows? He could find more opportunities to hunt.

  • Deathworlder: Due to living on such a toxic world, Faroussh's ancestors evolved to accommodate the poisoned atmosphere. But this comes with a drawback. To travel to any world not of Type II atmosphere, Faroussh requires a personalized atmospheric suit. Should he be exposed to Type I, he risks damage to his respiratory system.
  • Loyalist: Due to years acting as their enforcer, Faroussh feels loyalty to the Hutt Cartel. He would gladly take on almost any job they are offering. He will so protect them as well, should someone be stupid enough to aim a blaster at a Hutt.

  • Bad Air: Due to living on such a toxic world, Faroussh's ancestors evolved to accommodate the poisoned atmosphere. But this comes with a drawback. To travel to any world not of Type II atmosphere, Faroussh requires a personalized atmospheric suit. Should he be exposed to Type I, he risks damage to his respiratory system.
  • Misanthrope: While not as outright xenophobic as other Ubese, Faroussh is slightly distrustful of others. He has only been so loyal to the Hutts because of the rapport that he has built with the Cartel. He still has immense hatred for any successor states of the Republic, and the Jedi, due to their involvement with the scarring of Uba IV.
