Strengths:

• Small Profile: The small profile of the fighter makes it difficult to hit
• Advanced Manuevering System: The onboard system combined with the advanced jets and thrust vector control allow for an incredibly agile starfighter

Weaknesses:

• Slow Hyperdrive: While it does have a hyperdrive for the average civilian who needs to make a jump or two for some off-world ice cream runs, it is not suited for average use and is still better off being carried by other ships.
• Wing Mounted Engines: Crucial to the maneuverability of the fighter, targeting these jets and destroying them can send the fighter wildly out of control.

Description: Based on the design of the Fang Advance, the Fang TypeNu Fighter boasts incredible maneuverability like its more advanced cousin, but with lower speed and overall performance that was toned down for a full production model of the fighter. With its iconic swivel mounted S-foil wings, the Fang TypeNu can perform dangerous high speed maneuvers but suffers from some of the cutbacks MandalMotors made on the ship to make it safe for intergalactic sale. The expanded safety measures as well as the hyperdrive increased the size of the fighter and it replaced the four multi-directional engines on each wing with two high powered vectored thrust control ion engines. The expanded safety measures also in turn made the cockpit smaller and less comfortable to fly in than the Fang Advance and lower powered weapons systems bring it down to the galactic standard for military, recreational, and protective uses. Riding on the coatails of fame its cousin rushed in the Fang TypeNu is a strong average fighter but no where near as strong in the air as the Fang Advance and still easily outclassed the Purudii Mk.II and the Mk III which was scrapped after the Fang Advance and Fang TypeNu hit the prototype stage allowing for the classic Mandalorian design to reign supreme in MandalMotors' lineup.

I think this weakness is a holdover from the advanced version of this design. Perhaps the weakness should be something like slow hyperdrive?
