Commenor was a world that Selena had found great interest in, she had found the world investigating her long lost sister the ex senator who had found her with her actions facing off against the Hutt Cartel. Their bounties had dirven her away and attracted the attention of the woman who to all scans and tests was genetically her sister. A mind witches power of illusion and telepathy were some of the most dangerous. All she wanted to do was get to know the woman and without mind controlling her or making her some drooling mess it came down to just playing out those small things. She had been working with her memories lightly to ensure it seemed fitting like she existed. Smallest touches like changing a childhood friend or someone's image to her own. Work with the memories and alter them in ways that would let her be in there when she arrived. Standing in the red and black robes with her hair and face obscured a little she moved her hands gently. "Sister."

Kay felt a chill go down her spine as she heard [member="Sister Kay"] 's voice. She hadn't heard it since when? They were teenagers? She was drinking her tea out on the landing platform next to her ship, The Free Lady, using it's bulk as shade from the sun. But then there she was. Kay recognized her hair that peeked through her hood, as well as her eyes. Strange though that there were no strong feelings attached to the memories. But perhaps her encounter with her Father and his abandonment of her again, caused her to keep herself detached from the idea of her real family. "Been a long time. How are you?"

She stood out looking at her, removing the hood as the thick and full hair was nice and dark. Giving some of her attention to Kay though while she probed at her surface thoughts walking towards her. Eyes looking over the woman who was drinking tea and she spoke. "I have been good, there has not been much to do here without running into gangs the forces of the Republic are trying to clean up." She said it offering a smile getting a seat next to her while she looked to get some of the tea. "I know you have been working to clean up the problems and bring us back into the Republic." She wanted to give her a very nice thought or two. They were sisters after all and running around on the world they might be able to solve some of the problems of the people and show how important their house was. "And well the force on the world is a strange thing, as much as I want to seek training I know it could risk you." Force sensitivity a lovely thing to have when looking for food and the stronger the better.

Kay offered her 'sister' some of her tea, nodding with regards to the state of things on Commenor. "It's getting better though. Whether I get elected or not, I'll still help to make it better. It's no different than what I've done before. Things only got worse because I left and others did a poor job at taking over. But the encroaching Sith territory hasn't helped either. It has brought unsavoury types into this sector." Again she nodded on the subject of training, though she didn't say anything. Kay never spoke about such things in public. You never know who was listening.

Looking at her as she took a sip of the tea and blew on it with a smile on her face. "Well you have always done what is right, you'll be able to easily get it I am certain. How many can really run against you when you have been an active senator who went to help everyone instead of sitting in her ivory tower. You could have stayed home and instead you went to attract others to your cause." A smile on her face when she raised her eyebrows before looking outwards. "Everything will fall into place eventually and we'll get to have a whole new place to live and have tea."

Kay was never really one to stand still. And she was never one to bark orders and send people into dangerous situations on their own. It was better if she could help and get first hand information as to whether or not her plans were working.

"Well...I'm not sure about what the Presidential house will look like. And you know me. I'm more fond of being on the go all the time. I don't sit still very well."

"Well then we'll just have to get you a ship or something so you can have a home on the go, an intergalactic rv to campaign and live in while you roam around helping the people of the planet." she said it taking another sip before she stood up. "Come on then, lets go and see if we can help out the people on the planet. Never know who you might be able to persuade to vote for you."

Kay smirked as she suggested getting a ship. What was wrong with The Free Lady? She got to her feet and patted the hull that she was using for shade. "I have my ship right here. She's served me well."

The mere idea of going out to campaign seemed daunting. Helping people was one thing. But going out there and making speeches was quite another. It was putting on a show, yet she wanted to be as real as possible.

"Maybe but it is pretty large and not very open, you want to get people to elect you we need them to like you and that means they need to see you sis. you ned them to want to come and listen to you for whatever platform you are presenting to work and give them a new life. We want to win the people over while not giving them promises that will never be reached but instead we want to give them promises that can be worked on and attained for many of the people." She offered a smile standing there looking at her and patting the ship. "Plus have to show that that you took a hit but you cna come back from it."

"I thought that I was doing well enough in that regard." Kay hadn't made any campaign promises yet, outside of lowering crime by getting to the root of the problems instead of the aftermath. And boosting up security in the warehouses that harboured items coming in and out of Commenor as it was one of the stops along the trade routes. But then there was also the boosting in funding needed for the military to contend with as well.

She was looking at her. "You are doing really good but there is always a way to improve. Lowering the crime, making things better for people helps but you also need to give them something else to do if they are not aiding or helping crimes. Places to work, industry, activities that would be able to distract them. Or vices to get them to spend on the city. You need a plan big sister so we can get all of the things better for the people." Her eyes roved over the area and she was standing near Kay offering her arm. "Come on now, lets go and get them to see what we can do." She was staying over some of the things when she presented a datapad to look over the things in the city.

She took her arm and furrowed her brows. "But...the economy had been doing really well. There are plenty of jobs here already that aren't illegal. We aren't one of the top trade planets in the Galaxy for nothing. And our Universities are some of the best as well. We have our mining, shipbuilding, as well as brandy making. Surely that's a lot to work with...." Kay knew that things had changed while she was gone, but she didn't expect them to have changed as drastically as her newly found sister tried to point out.

"Oh it is but those jobs only have so many positions. You need the ones that aren't in those fields to be worth it as well." She said it while walking with her. "Given the republic's state and all of its work going on. There seems to be a shift from just making things so a planet will prosper and more so that the whole fo the republic will thrive. I know if we do it right we can get more people on your side dear sister and who knows. Maybe the republic will take notice of it and Jack Sparrow will bring you back into it. Now that all the nasty business with the hutts has been quiet as of late."
