Family Business

Herr Vanderhing sat in his mansion on Geonosis waiting for his guests to arrive. He sat at the end of a beautiful and long table. Behind him with a large fireplace a portrait of his supposedly deceased mother above it, along with several gold and marble busts of his head. Next him sat Genf Orkay along with several empty seats. The room was elegantly decorated and the room was large. His cooks had prepared food but he always had someone test the food in case of poisoning. His servants were carrying the large meal out to the table and in front of Vanderhing steaming hot fish was placed.

Drogh arrived, on a landing deck. As he arrived he looked around him. The dead deserts, wind blowing as if it was screaming ghosts that were trying to make contact with the living. This place no doubt had history, all he saw was the orange rocks and large hives in the distance, the bugs flying around him in swarms and hordes above the sky, ships flying around all above, it was a busy place for a lifeless planet. The sand of smell remined him of his horrbile experience of Tatooine, a place he frankly hated. The sun was far to bright for him on Tatooine and it was far to bright for him here, he enjoyed the darkness, he hated this place. Yet as he walked foward into a masion, why anyone would build anything of the sort here, he would of perfered being invited to Cato Neimoidia or 'pure' Neimoidia at the vert least, then being sent to a backward world with a backward speices.

Still Drogh saw the house, how it looked so out of place, like a shineing gem in a dead desert, pretty Drogh thought. He carried on walking towards the door, the almost acient B1 battle droids; well they seemed newly made but they in Droghs mind they are acient and should be repacled. They walked up towards him, taking a glance flashing their guns and letting him enter. It was like he entered a new world when he opended that door, some sand sneaked though but apart from that the buidling looked nothing like the outside world.

Drogh opended the door, a slow creek, Drogh was slow to open it, he didn't trust this place and he certinally didn't trust Herr, but he finally fully opended the door, looking at the two, taking of his steel mask, flipping his hood down. A pale hairnless face with sickly pale eyes stared at the two.

Vanderhing smiled and stood up, limping towards the man "Hello old friend!! It's so nice to see you again!" He limped up to the man and extended his silken glove covered hand out for a handshake. "Your timing for wanting this meeting..... It is impeccable I must say!..... There have been many things causing me trouble as of lately, what with the ......" *shudders* "Asylum fiasco, then people have been questioning my ability to govern Geonosis, next came a declaration of war between the Techno Empire and the Hutt Cartel, and just now there was a Sith Order riot in my arena!" Vanderhing urged him to sit in front of his associate Genf Orkay "There may be others attending this little meeting, but as of yet I am unsure...."

"Hello old freind" Those were the words he was greeted by, the warm and welcoming voice and body langue, it was a lie of it was. He wasn't his freind and to be frank he didn't know him for very long but Drogh needed [member="Herr Vanderhing"] and to some extent atleast, Herr needed him. They were partners, he had no blood ties to this creature, he had helped hime escape from a a mental hell, well perhaps that would be freindship in some eyes. But Drogh had lived in the darkness, he had heard whispers and voices and he knew this one well. He was a manipulator though and though, his fake smiles and kindness made Drogh feel uncomfortable and in all truth, fearfull of him. He had heard the rumors of this Neimoidan, how cruel he was, his skill with the knife, how he could flash it in a second and your neck would be wide open. Drogh didn't feel at ease, any more at ease then he was outside that place.

He felt the warmth of the fire, yet it was hot outside, it's charcoal smell wasn't nice, he saw the chairs all neatly lined up, all across the room. Not to mention his freind, a person he berely knew; Genf Orkay. He didn't like him either, although he felt much less threaten by his presence. Drogh would have to play a game with Herr, a game that he was good at yet Herr was the master off, or alteast that is what he was told, or rather heard. Drogh walked over, he felt his heart beating heavily, he slowly offered a black glaved hand with a forced awkerd smile. "Hello, friend."

Another person soon came in after the dark figure, one that most would not expect... It was Dr. Cheng the old director of the very Asylum Vanderhing was locked up in. "Ah Professor Cheng, so happy you could make it!... You remember Dr. Cheng don't you?..."Vanderhing asked the dark figure. Dr. Cheng gave a light smile then "Oh yes, you're one of the leading factors of my arrest, revocation of my doctorate, and my removal as head of Valorum.... What was it your name was again?..." The doctor asked as Vanderhing sat down. Vanderhing than began to speak "Now that the main four are here we can begin the slightly confidential discussions...... You see we all need each other in some way shape or form.... We four happen to occupy the highest seats of power within the business... Well not yet for you [member="Drogh"], you still haven't said if you'll agree to joining...."

Drogh was surprised to see this man. He was genuinally taken of gaurd and he didn't like that one bit, Professer Cheng? Drogh sat down finally, looking around he felt tense, he had no power, beside that of the force, that was the one thing he had that these four didn't. Yet he wasn't fully trained in it, so why was he here? Drogh was a great informat, but he didn't own any massive spy agency, he wasn't a wealthy businessman, although he had quite alot of credits from a recent job that he did. Drogh said in a slow and uneasy voice, his eyes darting around, looking for anyone to 'try' anything, he finally said. "Yes, I'm in." Those words felt hard to say, like tar was flowing out of his mouth.

Vanderhing gave off an eerie smile

"Excellent!! Now what gets said here DOES NOT leave this room!! As many people may know, I have commited.... 'Genocide' via the public execution of over a dozen young Sith Order acolytes within Stalgasin Stadium.... I regret absolutely none of their deaths and merely was following madam Med-Beq's orders... The Confederacy now feels it necessary to hold me and her on trial and I need help keeping my iron grip on the family and on Neimoida and Cato Neimoidia. That is why this meeting has been arranged"

Vanderhing stood up and limped around the table

"You three will be delegated to deal with specific duties within the business! [member="Drogh"] I have been attempting to recruit underbosses and I am appointing you as head of the underboss council, Proffessor Cheng you are going to be appointed as my press secretary and this will deal with my political affairs, Genf you are my chief of staff and therefore will collaborate with them both and report directly to me... You will all follow my orders directly and underneath me you will follow Genf's! Understood?"

Drogh nodded, he didn't much like showing his face, especially to people that might be a threat to him. Drogh wasn't sure what he was supposed to do, so he simply asked with a crooked smile. "What do you want me to do?"

Herr Vanderhing folded his fingers together and placed them on the table

"You are going to head the Underboss council and I'll need you to recruit an underboss for Neimoidia while I'll recruit one for Cato Neimoidia.... As head you will have control over all of the underbosses and as we expand our influence each planet will get a new underboss"

Drogh wasn't that happy, it didn't want to go to that hell of a planet, all Drogh did was a ghostly sigh, all he needed would be a few things, or one thing. "I will need a lot of credits."
