SETTING INFORMATION

  • City Name: Fallan’Au

  • Classification: Small Town

  • Location: Kaeshana

  • Affiliation: First Order

  • Demographics: 82% Eldorai | 18% Human

  • Wealth: Low

Fallan’Au has only just started to grow, and thus far the only means to generate income has been to mine, restore and craft. The First Order has begun a work to wealth program for the Eldorai. Whereby the Eldorai work to restore the city, mine for minerals within the mountains and craft their own wares. In exchange, they’re paid, educated and taught Imperial values, as of now Fallan’Au relies solely on the First Order.

[*]
Stability: Moderate

  • The First Order does not tolerate disobedience, and at the same time they understand the tensions. There have been scuffles between the Eldorai and the Humans, but both Raptorii Security Forces and Planetary Defense Guards have intervened. Avoiding the dramatic step of the white helmets thus far.

[*]
Description: Fallan’Au is now a beautiful city along the mountain’s edges. It glistens and reflects the natural sunlight from its alabaster-like stone architecture. The architecture itself is older than most of the Eldorai living on Kaeshana. It had been here longer than most, stories are told that it was blessed by Ashira at one point. No matter the stories, with phase one complete and people immigrating into the city. It is only a matter of time before Fallan’Au sings for its people once more.

POINTS OF INTEREST

  • Temple of Ashira: Perhaps the easiest to make out, and the most notable structure here. Given Ashira’s importance to the Eldorai this temple was the first to be restored. It is here that the calls to prayer are made, it is here that worship is done. Worshipping her Holiness, the Beloved Mother of the Eldorai peoples. For the Humans of the First Order they first thought this strange, but as they continued to make a life here on Fallan’Au some began to wander into the temple. Curious as to the teachings of this religion, others would share the teachings of the Cosmic Balance and still others preferred to remain agnostic. All of which is quite acceptable in the eyes of the First Order.

  • Fallan’Au Municipal Hall: A combined effort of both Human and Eldorai administer, legislate and conduct judicial court hearings from here. The Municipal Hall is also host to the chiefs of both the planetary defense guard and the security forces. Also presiding here is the head of healing and medical, as once more the two vastly different cultures of Imperial and Eldorai try to work together. Even if the very thought seems to be quite impossible, both sides are doing their best to make it work although it’s not always easy.

  • Valoran Imperial Academy: This is where the young are now taught, the Valoran Imperial Academy teaches the values of the natives, while also instilling into them what it means to be a proper Imperial. The youth with guidance from their elders who even now are trying to navigate the new world of being an Eldorai Imperial. Although the school serves more than just the Eldorai youth, Human youth also attend school here and are taught to be inclusive. Forward thinking individuals and respectful of one another. While the Eldorai age slower and live longer, their Human counterparts do not, and it is with this thought that the First Order is working to build an everlasting relationship with them. Human children are required to learn the native languages of Kaeshana, just as the Eldorai children are required to learn basic.

  • Aina’Cirdan: This loosely translates to Holy Shipwright, a reference to the Beloved Mother, Ashira. Small craft no larger than 120m are serviced here, the shipwright is still collecting material in order to produce its own set of ships. Ships for transport, cargo, and a small patrol fleet are on the docket. For now though, it works to service mostly First Order speeders, shuttles and the like.

  • Tari’Elda: Queen of the Stars, this is the main port into Fallan’Au and at the moment it can only service two shuttles at a time, or one corvette under 160m. This structure took perhaps the most time to restore due to its ornate properties, weight and overall length. The FOCIE weren’t sure if it would actually hold without something to aid it. Eldorai engineers grinned like cheshire cats when it did, and as of now both groups continue to monitor the structure. Training dockworkers with proper procedures and precautionary measures to take while servicing ships here.

  • Ruffled Feathers Tavern & Inn: A human-run tavern that mirrors the Eldorai-run tavern on the other side of Fallan-Au. Calendulin the Green Bird offers the Ruffled Feathers competition. The taverns are places for the local populace to go and enjoy themselves. Listen to bards, enjoy a game of dice or cards, or just a good meal and a wonderful brew. Both taverns have rooms for rent.

  • Arme’Tirion: The First Watchtower, one of a few that dot the town. Where the joint task force of Raptorii Security Forces and Planetary Defense Guard work to keep vigilant over the town. Each tower serves as a station and holds two holding cells. Additionally, the towers serve to alert emergency services as to where they're needed. There are always an even number of Eldorai and Humans working together.

  • Water’s Edge Living Complex: Is a joint housing complex that houses both species, however; many of the Eldorai have taken to living closer, or as close to the Temple of Ashira as possible. A small favela simply dubbed Ashira’s Grace has been created around the Municipal Hall, leaving FOCIE and Security Forces the question of what to do in the situation. So far the living complex is overwhelmingly human, as aforementioned most Eldorai have chosen to live elsewhere.

  • Phase II: As marked is the second phase of restoration to Fallan’Au a large bazaar, auxiliary camp, and a hospital are planned for it. More housing, schools, and shrines dedicated to Kyran, Ardarvia, Valora and other members of the Eldorai pantheon are also planned. Workshops, warehouses and other necessities that a city would need are being outlined as necessary. Taking into account materials, and manpower some of Phase II’s construction may be held over to Phase III.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Fallan'Au (To Heal Again)

Prior to the First Order's arrival, this city only known as something that roughly translates into despair had been on its last leg. A diamond in the rough as it sits high in the mountains but had somehow been spared much of the battle when the Galactic Alliance and First Order fought one another. The only parts that suffered were her ports and several towers that fell when the FIV Wrath abruptly came to a halt atop of the same mountain range.

After the Imperial nation claimed victory over Kaeshana, work to restore the planet and her peoples began. Restoring her to her former glory, a job many scholars, scientists and aide workers were eager to do. First began the cleansing of the planet's radiation, then came the water filtration systems and atmospheric restoration. And while this was being done, Fallan'Au was rediscovered by the First Order's Reclamation Service's Historical Recovery Division.

Local Eldorai Guides talked about it, and only wished for a time in which they could return here instead of living their lives out in the camps provided to them by the First Order. This particular agent of the First Order petitioned for a full service team and then turned to her guides for assistance. Surprisingly they turned her down - and none would provide an answer as to why. Still, she wouldn't back down. She presisted, and even after she had been given an explanation - she continued to persist.

The Eldorai populace eventually came around, and began to work with the First Order on restoring Fallan'Au. Using many of Kaeshana's own local raw materials to get the job done. Months of sweat, blood and tears had finally come around and Fallan'Au glittered with glory. The city is far from being completely restored but now the Eldorai have a chance, a fresh start and a renewed sense of hope.

For now, "phase one," of Fallan'Au's restoration is complete, with the second phase now in the works and phase three, in the planning stages.
