Aloof Drovian Privateer and Scourge of Wookiees
latest

latest

NOTE: I know its the epitome of stubbornness, but I refuse to RP in anything related to the Mouse's episodes VII-IX, due to the fact that there's no proper worldbuilding or even basic in-universe history in any way, shape or form. EU and the occasional fanon only for me.

(WIP)

Name: Fajyk Vasrell

Faction: Independent, but occasionally works for the Crimson Dawn Crime Syndicate or the New Imperial Order.

Rank: N/A

Species: Drovian

Age: 40

Sex: Male

Height: 6'8

Weight: 335 lbs.

Build: Fat and muscular.

Eye color: Pupiless silver.

Hair color: Sports a short, fiery red mohawk.

Skin color: Midnight blue.

Force Sensitivity: Yes, though he is among the rare ranks of Force Sensitives who know the basic teachings of the Force and of their abilities, yet who want as little to do with the Force as possible. The Drovian uses it only for astrogation or in fights he is most likely going to lose without those specific supernatural boons.

Force Powers:

Alter:

Control:

Sense: psychometry, instinctive astrogation,

Occupation: Formerly (?) a renowned thief and pirate, currently an enlisted Imperial privateer and mercenary.

Strengths:

Strategist: Most Drovians are raised to be somewhat strategic, and Fajyk is no exception to this rule, as countless civil wars have raged on his homeworld of Nim Drovis over many centuries, though Fajyk was quick to abandon this way of life in defiance of both of his parents, bartering passage offworld at seven and never looking back. During his subsequent running with a pirate gang, the Drovian was easily able to expand upon these skills over the years as he moved constantly from one gang to another every few years, never forming much in the way of lasting bonds.

Honorable: Fajyk's first Captain, a fatalistic albino Advozse, did his best to instill in the young Drovian, over the course of their nearly ten years together, the teachings of universal morality, unchanging right and wrong, objective truths, (in the cases of pirates, that there is no honor in stealing from the law-abiding, no matter what class they might be), the value of Younglings and women and the duties of men, regardless of species. Apart from Lawq, this is the closest bond Fajyk has ever formed and he was the single most influential figure in the Drovian's life.

Immense Strength: Drovians are naturally tough, hardy aliens, and Fajyk's time as a wandering pirate, soldier of fortune, ship repairman and privateer have strengthened and developed the muscles in his thick arms and legs as much as the constant civil wars on Nim Drovis would have done if he had stayed. As a result, there are few others that can match this Drovian for raw brute force.

Determination: Almost akin to a form of tunnel vision, once Fajyk Vasrell sets his mind on a goal (especially regarding right and wrong), the regards of criminals, law enforcement, citizenry and even Lawq can do very little to deter him from seeking something his heart and mind are actively searching for. Nothing short of intervention from one of the Force's two sides can keep this Drovian away from matters of honor, defeating the lawless or seeking to recover other criminals' ill-gotten gains to put to better uses.

Bladesman: His years as a pirate and his current occupation as a privateer for the New Imperial Order have enabled this Drovian to learn the intricacies of handling vibrodaggers, vibroswords, polearms and other forms of melee weaponry, and constant practice has enabled Fajyk to become a bladesman of moderate skill and deadly strength.

Weaknesses:

Specist: Harbors an intense, all-encompassing hatred of Wookiees due to the dumb luck of having encountered much of that species' worst members in repeating succession over many years. The first Wookiee he encountered in his life was his first Captain's murderer, a hulking monster who doused the Advozse in starship fuel and set him afire after raping his wife in front of him. While he was unable to save his formative Father-figure and his spouse, the Drovian still was able to land a perfect headshot on that despicable red-furred coward even as he attempted to make off with the spouses' family heirloom. The subsequent Wookiees never measured up to the monstrousness of the first, but they nonetheless proved to be thieves, drunkards, spice dealers, one Dark Jedi and, in another strange instance, a cannibal. Blind Fate, for whatever reason, has ensured that Fajyk has encountered some of the worst Wookiees to stalk the Galaxy, and his prejudce against Wookiees is so strong that, while he can control his fury around them, it borders on being murderous...

Single-Minded Rage: While he is normally a very patient Drovian (a trait gained due to disgust at his parents' short fuses growing up), during the rare instances when Fajyk loses his temper and explodes, in addition to frightening Lawq into hiding, the Drovian has been known to become verbally aggressive and forceful towards strangers. He then runs the risk of getting into a fight and, at one point, he even drew upon the Dark Side to injure (and subsequently lose) a powerful Jedi contact...

Romantic and Womanizing: Drovians don't harbor much in the way of attractiveness beyond their own kind - while this doesn't bother Fajyk too much, being as he long ago abandoned the Drovian way of life and despite his not being able to admit such, this Drovian would be a very miserable creature were it not for the constant presence of his only real friend, Lawq. While there is little in the way of natural attraction between those two; over the years, Fajyk's tastes have shifted towards the more standard feminine forms and the distinct charms of aliens that are closer to his size (A scrawny little bat alien doesn't tickle everyone's fancy). While he does his best to hide this fact from Lawq, the Drovian, when venturing alone, makes a habitual trip towards the nearest brothel and when faced with beautiful females of nearly every bipedal species who might have an interest in him, he is putty in the hands of any woman's natural charms... Any woman with enough tact, seeking information or credits to steal, (or even seeking his death) would find an easy mark in Fajyk if Lawq is not around...

Appearance: A typically stocky, thick-limbed example of the Drovian species, it has always been Fajyk's coloration that made him stand out from the rest of his kind, to say nothing of his unorthodox values and emphasis on classical, almost Jedi-like morals and honor (save for his being a professional thief and looter). A thick-limbed being seemingly composed mostly of fat beneath the dark blue rolls of layered, pudgy flesh on his stomach, limbs, neck and face, this Drovian's seemingly lackadaisical appearance is vastly stronger then it appears. Usually clad in loose military breeches stolen from Force-knows what source, a red shirt that matches the scarlet mohawk on his head and a cured brown Shaak leather jacket (I'm betting they got the skin from the rump to make a few dozen jackets) that he considers "stylish", Fajyk appears to be a calm, stoic figure regardless of where he might be in the Galaxy. His silver eyes, speak of an intense, underlying and righteous anger that could emerge at the slightest provocation, however and his gray-pallored blunt teeth are cleaner then average, compared to most offworld Drovians.

Special Companion: An eccentric, hopeful and humorous female Qom Jha, naturally steeped in the Force, who has taken the name of Lawq Vasrell. The two have a bizarre, argumentative, though emotionally close, sibling-like bond, or perhaps that of nagging spouses - sometimes, it's very difficult for outsiders to tell exactly what is going on between them.

(KIDDING! The next few are what you can use as basic reference material - and yes, I modified another species into an anthro animal, but just picture a fruit bat with a long tail and more humanoid proportions, as there is nothing reliable that I can find for a Qom Jha, sadly, beyond that one old black and white picture.)
