Failed Mission

Emilié decided she'd have no better choice to make and so nodded in agreement. "I'll join you." she said hesitantly as she watched the undying troopers walk by. She was still unsure exactly what her decision had meant, but it sounded like the outcomes would be good and there was nothing more the Jedi had to offer her.

Cylus nodded once with a thankful shrug appearing in his shoulders as he stepped out of the doorway.
"Of course, this can be your room aboard the ship if you'd like. It's one of the finer ones." He nodded to the room he'd just been in.

He pointed down a small corridor to the left "That's where we keep our food and supplies stored, as well as the armory." He then spun around and pointed down the right side "And that is where the crew quarters and the cockpit are."

He turned once more to face her, his mask watching her quietly though his body language seemed pleasant enough.
"Please, feel free to explore."

Emilié hesitated for a moment, so quick to leave the Jedi. "I shouldn't just leave the Jedi, should I?" she asked, not really caring about the morals but the fact she was leaving something she had dedicated her last year to.

She smiled at him, he was nicer than she had thought, and the fact he had just abducted her from a planet never crossed her mind. She was sort of excited to be on the ship and be allowed to explore, spending 12 years as a slave, it wasn't a privilege you got often.

The Padawan gathered all the energy she had and suddenly jumped from the bed, walking out into the corridor and exploring the ship.

Cylus considered his response for a few moments before walking with Emily throughout the ship. What he said next was of vital importance, and that was why it needed to be said correctly as did all of the sentences he spoke today.

"Think of it like this, you have not left the Jedi. The Jedi have left you, abandon their teachings because they abandon you." He spoke softly in an almost caring manner, following her as she went about the ship.

The Undying would pay no mind to her, continuing their usual work.

Emilié listened and took in what he said, it was probably true. She was easily manipulated and she didn't know it. She hadn't gone far before she returned to the room, still drowsy from being knocked unconscious, probably not the best state to make decisions in either.

The Padawan sat back on the bed and yawned. "You're right, and besides, it's not hurting anyone by me doing this, is it?" she asked.

Cylus shook his head once as he stood near the girl, his gaze watching hers quietly from behind his mask. No good person would be harmed...the galaxy was filled with people who weren't good, and so it would be inevitable that there would be some form of conflict brought about here. More careful word choices.
"No good person shall be hurt, simply the scum that plague the galaxy and must be contained. If you wish to rest, I will leave you to it." He responded quietly, one hand patting on her shoulder before he turned and stepped to the doorway.

That had been rather an odd question hadn't it...she didn't know and yet it almost seemed as though she did.

Emilié lay down on the bed but kept her eyes locked with Cylus'. She hadn't been with the Jedi long and so it wouldn't take long for their morals to rub off of her. The only thing she really wanted was freedom, though she didn't know it.

The girl nodded, exhausted from the day's events. "As long as I'm helping maintain the peace, I'd be happy to help." she said before drifting off back into sleep.

Approximately One Standard Day Later

Cylus rapped on the door to Emily's room, that was what he had started to call her now. Emily was much easier to pronounce after all, and pronunciation was an important piece of battle technique. He was a little surprised she had slept so long, perhaps she had been more worn out then he had thought by the stun blast though she seemed to be taking things well so far. She had agreed to work with him at the least.

So they would be beginning with a few basic lessons today, he would try to teach her the primitives of fencing; an art which he used himself when fighting. It was simple enough to learn, but to master it would take a long while. Cylus himself had not even become a master with it, though he had a fair amount of experience and was naturally attuned to the rapid flicks of motion and the combat style.

He rapped once more on the doorway to make sure she was awake before calling in
"Emily, there should be breakfast on your nightstand. There should also be a suit of training gear laying in the refresher along with a few sets of clothing I could scrounge up. Please meet me outside when you are adequately prepared."

Emilié had only ever wanted to be free. Free to make her own own choices and do what she wanted. She never felt like she could do that with the Jedi, she would often get frustrated with their rules and ideologies and wanted to make choices for herself rather than have them made for you. You were a servant to the peace if you were a Jedi, at least... that's how she saw it.

Having not been in training for very long, she doubted she could even call herself a Jedi. No lightsaber of her own and no master, she was only of the standard of an advanced youngling.

Emilié had already been awake a while, contemplating things. "Thank you." she said groggily as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. She quickly ate the breakfast, as it had been well over a day since she had eaten. She nodded in acknowledgement, though Cylus couldn't see. Emilié threw on clothes, though not without care, and met Cylus outside. She didn't mind being called Emily, it made her feel special, like someone cared for her, like she belonged somewhere and wasn't just someone's slave.

Cylus nodded quietly towards his new prodigy as she stepped out to meet him. He motioned towards the hallway that exited the starship and led to the dusty and arid world of Lok outside. There stood a foreboding mansion, a long pointed fence stretching along the outskirts of it and a gun on it's roof which seemed to swivel occasionally, monitoring the skies as though it were a bird of prey.

He would introduce her to The Estate, and then he would try to see about that fencing training he had been considering.
"Welcome to our home. I think you'll very much enjoy it here, feel free to pick any room you want inside. He said casually as he flicked his hand towards the grandeur of The Estate.
