OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: HSCS
  • Model: FAE-2
  • Affiliation: HSCS Open Market
  • Modularity: No

  • Production: Mass production
  • Material:
    Kiirium Outer Armor Plating,
  • Duranium Middle General Plating working components (due to heat resistance)
  • Turadium Structure/Core
  • Mechanical and electrical components

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Allows a Capital-class starship to travel at an agile sub-light speed.
  • Hooked to its own personal cooling ventral system.
Strengths:
  • Efficient: Makes the most out of the fuel on board
  • Outer Shell: Kirrium is a very strong metal used by the republic to protect engines since they are usually targeted during fights.
  • To Drive Away: Can be placed easily and run from the get go as long as it has a power source.
Weaknesses:
  • Maintenance: The different layer system and power means that the engine does require a good deal of maintenance to keep in peak performance.
  • EMP Attacks: Like all electrical devices a heavy EMP can take out the engine if not shielded, Ion attacks included.
DESCRIPTION
Throughout development HCLI has be relying on engines supplied by Zayne Industries for capital ships, but have constantly found a slight difficulty with their inability to produce mass amounts of them. This limits the over all number of capital class ships that HSCS can manufacture, even if they want to mass produce them. Due to this, using inspirations of the ZI-E250 Capital Class Ion Engine Harley went about, commissioning the construction of a engine but in mass production.

Open Market
  • This goes under Affiliation, not Production.

Reverse Power: Can propel a ship forwards and backwards for extra maneuverability.
  • Wouldn't this be a matter of engine placement on the vessel? An engine only propels a ship one way, and that depends on where it's installed on the ship proper.

  • If the same applies for Ion attacks, please add it to the weakness.
