“Do you give up?” The playful taunt called for Allyson after they had both hit the ground in a tackle. An arm wrapped around Allyson for Kaili to get her on her back. She wanted her to stare up at Kaili when she admitted her defeat proper. She had known the risk of challenging the blonde to a race like that, most people did by now and most people tended to avoid doing it as well for this reason alone. Kaili wasn’t known as someone who played fair in competitions, she wasn’t one to avoid using external means to ensure her own victory, but with Allyson things were different. She had after all thrown her now-girlfriend into a tree during their first date and while that was an amusing memory at this point there was no urge on Kaili’s behalf to ever relive it again.

Which wasn’t to say that there was any real desire to lose this particular race either.

This tackle had been done fair and square, a physical tackle without the aid of the force which in itself was Kaili’s way of making Allyson realize that, yes, she was doing this race on equaly grounds while at the same time, no, even Allyson was still bound to be a target for her cheats. Part of her suspected Allyson would be annoyed at it. Eyes glanced all over her partner’s face to check for damages and found nothing but specks of dirt from the fall. Then again, perhaps Allyson would have suspected or outright known this was going to happen.

Wandering eyes found the hazel eyes that she had fallen in love with. A short staggered breath parted Kaili’s lips as she entered near-trance and stared herself blind within the depths of Allyson’s soul. She was still the most beautiful person that Kaili had ever met. From the small scar on her cheek to the way her smile warmed up the entire room in a heartbeat. The blonde’s hair swayed in the wind before her as she towered over Allyson. Her elbows chafed against the hard ground yet a smile spread on her lips regardless. This had been such a long time coming now. The good times, the end of troubles or at the very least a pause between them. The mysterious intruder and the skirmish on Rutan, old news that were no longer relevant. Yesterday’s worries was kept in the past where they belonged while today’s experiences was already in the process of shaping the best memories Kaili had granted herself in months.

And all this because of the fact that she had Allyson around again. They had promised that for at least a few days they would be taking some time off for themselves to get away from the world and just have fun, like they used to. The SIS would simply have to wait before they put Allyson in low-cut outfits again and Kaili would have to let the company and the hyperlanes rest for a bit.

“I’ve missed this.” A faint whisper would part the blonde’s lips as she continued to simply stare down into Allyson with awe and wonder. “I’ve missed you. Us. This.”

Kaili remained in place. She couldn’t move now, not ever.

Allyson felt some of the air knock from her chest. She had been bested once more even though the tackle was cheating! Still, Kaili kept her promise and didn’t use the Force this time. There were days that Allyson was jealous of Kaili’s connection to the Force. It was strange that she was so gifted in so many areas and where Allyson was gifted with the same gift as Kaili, se was deaf to the others. Sighing softly, Allyson felt her frame being rolled onto her back. Looking up she watched as the blonde question if she was giving up.

It was as if time stood still. Allyson stared up at Kaili and inhaled softly. The sight of the blonde was unreal and she wondered when she was going to wake up from this dream. How did she get so lucky? Why did she get so lucky? Allyson always questioned that, never of course finding an answer. Everything that she had done in her life, the bad and the good – none of it could ever add up to what she had at this moment. Kaili’s love was enough to keep her well and satisfied. She had never felt that with anyone before. Was Kaili her soulmate? Today, was that even a possibility? Allyson caught herself staring at Kaili as the girl spoke once again. Today was something simple, like when they had first met.

Blinking quickly, Allyson snapped herself out of her day dream. A hand caressed lightly against Kaili’s cheek. The smile widened on Allyson’s face as she searched for words to even convey an ounce of her love for the blonde. It might have been too soon, but it was the only thing she could even fathom saying. The Corellian’s thumb moved across her lover’s tender cheek as she remembered the hard times and how they hand finally found peace. Her throat suddenly became dry as she second guessed saying what she wanted, would it scare her?

Ignoring that doubt, Allyson chuckled softly and nodded. She gave into Kaili, the girl loved to win and Allyson loved losing to her. A soft sigh and Allyson finally said what she figured was the right thing to say in this moment. “I want…to never miss us, ever.” Leaning up the best she could she pulled the blonde into a deep kiss, remembering everything they had shared between them. Every day became easier to love her, easier to know that this was what she wanted and now she needed to express that. Pulling away slightly, she nuzzled the tip of her nose against Kay’s and sighed softly.

Now or never.

“I…I want to spend the rest of my life with you. If its just today, the end of the month…forever whatever the rest of my life is – I want you to be there, to be mine. I can’t live with you [member="Kaili Talith"]…” Sighing softly, she kissed her quickly and then finished. “You are my life, my whole world.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

The way her skin felt against her cheek as her thumb gently caressed it with the greatest of care. There was luck and then there was this. For all that had gone so wrong in Kaili’s life, for all the horrors she had seen and faced there was still light at the end of the tunnel when Allyson was around. She had been an integral part of depression and rehabilitation, of love and the curiosity there associated. She had opened Kaili’s eyes on so many levels that it felt impossible to describe with any single word how much she appreciated, admired and respected this woman.

Their lips touched in a kiss that reminded her of the old times again. Kaili didn’t want to miss Allyson ever again either. Their kiss broke apart and they separated again, Allyson fell into a stutter and Kaili couldn’t help but smile. She did this, always. Reaffirmed her love for Kaili whenever she could in ways that would never get old. Another kiss found itself on Kaili’s lips. She was Allyson’s life, her whole world. Deep breaths filled Kaili. In through the nose, out through the mouth.

Now or never.

With a gentle tug she got the Corellian off the ground and into a seated position by the tree she had not been flung into, but rathered tackled by.

“I’ve actually, uh…” Kaili hesitated. “I’ve been thinking about doing this lately.”

“We’ve been together a long time.” Fingers touched against the bright blue shine of her meditation ring. “A very long time, some would say.”

Her long finger and thumb twisted to get the ring off. “And, I don’t want to go too fast, you know that…”

The ring was off from her long finger. “Allyson, you are the most amazing human being I have ever met.”

“You are my sun,” Kaili looked at the ring.

“My fire,” And then Allyson.

“My rock.” And then her own hand again.

“And so this is my promise to you.” She swallowed as the ring between her fingers moved towards her fourth digit.

“I will promise you that I will always be here.” It touched against the tip of said finger.

“It’s nothing official, but it should keep others away.” She chuckled as the ring slid down the finger and found a friend in the paperclip ring that had adorned her ring finger for years now.

“Until the point when we are both as equally ready to take that step.”

Which wasn't now, but if it calmed Allyson's mind on the matter it was all the more worth it.

The tree gave them shade and Allyson watched intently as Kaili began to work the ring from her middle finger. It was a curious gesture and she tried to figure out where she was going with it all. There was a smirk as she remembered the paper clip ring, it was her promise to always come back and she had never broken that promise. Allyson could feel her heart pounding as she listened to Kaili, was the girl giving in finally? The Corellian, from her own memory, felt as if asking Kaili to fully commit to her was something she had been doing for ages.

Something beyond the ‘I love yous’ and the sort needed to be there, to help anchor Allyson down. Also, her greatest fear was losing Kaili, not only to the current war, but to another person. What if Kaili discovered that Allyson wasn’t so great, that she wasn’t the person she wanted to be with? Those thoughts ate her alive at times. Yet, right now, listening to Kaili promise herself that when she was ready – things would move to the next step. Allyson waited till she was done speaking and pulled the blonde by the scruff of her shirt. In this moment Allyson had never felt happier, she had never felt this complete and it was all because she decided to walk into that droid shop on Borleias. Their lips crashed into each other and Allyson was instantly reminded of the waves crashing against the beach near Kaili’s home and shop.

Allyson wrapped her arms around Kaili as she kept her close, their bodies pressing against each other tightly threatening to become one person. Breaking the kiss Allyson felt her eyes begin to well up with tears of happiness. “I promise you Kaili, I’ll make you the happiest woman alive – for the rest of my life. I’ll protect you and stand by you through thick or thin. You make me feel so alive, you make life worth living.” Another kiss and she struggled to break it. She pulled back slightly and chuckled, a hand wiped under her eyes.

“I want to go back to Borleias, where everything started – I want to experience everything again with you. All our adventures – everything and continue to make memories. I love you so much” [member="Kaili Talith"]

[member="Allyson Locke"]

They kissed again, Allyson took the act in the same manner Kaili would have expected her to. Maybe not the tears, but Kaili could hardly blame her. A helpless yet amused chuckle parted Kaili’s lips into a grin at watching it all play out before her as kiss after kiss was sent her way with time in between to wipe away the tears. Allyson wanted to go back to Borleias and Kaili couldn’t help but chuckle once more.

“Nuh uh.” She smiled. “We just got here.” The girl looked around the area, set her eyes for the treetops and followed them by the trunk into the roots. “I’ve followed this lead for months now. We’re so close.”

Kaili got up and offered Allyson a hand. Should the Corellian accept she’d find herself tugged off the ground into yet another kiss. Regardless if she had accepted the hand or not, Kaili would press her lips against the Corellian’s. It was hard not to, the mood wasn’t allowed to die just yet. Hands brushed against Allyson’s back to wipe away the dust and grime. Stray hands swept up to loosen what few leaves she could get in a single go.

They separated once more.

“Do you remember what it was we came here for?” She grinned. “Beyond, well, you know…”

Allyson chuckled as she shrugged. She wanted to go back to Borleias for some time now, she had gotten a good tan on that planet. “A girl can’t dream eh?” She one day hoped that they could finish their journey there and relax as much as possible. Borleias was the closest thing to Corellia for Allyson, which was why she was growing attached to the planet. There was another shy chuckle as Allyson tried to buy herself time to try and remember why they had come here. It was for a very particular reason and it had slipped Allyson’s mind.

The Corellian decided to try and get herself some more time by distracting the Borleian woman. Moving closer, she snaked her arms around Kaili’s waist and pulled her closer. She arched her neck as she kissed along the tender neck line of the other girl lightly and every so often nipping gently at the soft flesh. She kissed up the curve of Kaili’s jaw, getting to the lobe of the girl’s ear. A soft whisper brushed along her ear as Allyson did her best to tempt. “Well, I do remember I came here to relax with the most beautiful woman in the galaxy.” Hands that were around Kaili’s waist slipped south and cupped the girl’s bottom with a tight grab.

“Did I get it right?” Grinning, Allyson hoped that she had answered correctly. Though even if she was wrong, maybe she could be convincing enough for Kaili in this sense. [member="Kaili Talith"]

[member="Allyson Locke"]

There wasn’t so much the same mindset from Kaili who had already spent a good portion of her life in her room was only now starting to get the appeal of stepping outside. It was in many ways Allyson’s fault that this had happened to begin with. Kisses began to venture up Kaili’s neck. She saw through the attempt at stalling but, well, Kaili was not exactly complaining. Allyson’s hands rested against Kaili and she couldn’t help but sigh at the entire situation. Not out of agitation but rather relief.

It turned into a chuckle at Allyson’s comment.

“Yes.” Kaili kissed Allyson back. “And no. Mostly no.”

She separated from Allyson and brought the HoloPad up before them to project the shape of a small datachip.

“Remember when I told you I heard rumor about a technomancer from around the Gulag Plague?” Kaili looked at Allyson and then the chip circling on her wrist. “I have invested so much money into this by now that I can’t just back down.”

Warm smile shot out at Allyson. “Besides, what’s more romantic than the smell of a decaying old bunker hidden underneath a thick layer of dirt and roots?” Most things, actually. “Rumor is she had a safehouse somewhere around here, and I intend to find it.”

“For us.” Kaili added. “I want to know more about this area of the force, our field in the force.”

“There might be resistance,” Kaili snickered. “You brought your blasters, right?”

Sighing softly, Allyson knew attempting to lay Kaili here they were was a long shot, but she had to try right? She listened and revisited the debriefing she had received back on the ship. Everything came back to mind and Allyson grew highly interested. They were both technomancers, Kaili of course being the more experienced of the two knew a bit more and had done a lot of research. Allyson was along for the ride in more ways than one.

“Oh yeah, you think there's some sort of information about the gulag plague that no one knows about on there?” The thought was interesting enough and a part of her wondered what killed this technomancer. Her lips pressed together as she thought and then spoke with a bit of caution. “You don't think she died of the plague or something right? Like we won't find some freaked out a millennia old zombie down there?”

Zombies...they weren't Allyson's favorite breed of monster. Remembering being locked in a station with them made her skin crawl. Still to this day, she wondered how she ever escaped. Feeling that feeling of crawling skin, the Corellian quickly shivered and ran her hands up and down her upper arms. Gah, zombies were gross.

“Of course I have my blasters. Silly Kaili thinking I would come unprepared.” A grin, one that Kaili would be quite used to about this time. They had been together for a bit and were inseparable unless it came to war. Either way, one wasn't usually seen without the other. “Resistance, what would even be out here?” [member="Kaili Talith"]

[member="Allyson Locke"]

She might have died of the plague, Kaili didn’t truly know. The person they were tracking had disappeared a long time before either of them had even been born and the chances of them still being alive felt slim enough for Kaili to figure it was worth a shot to at the very least give it a shot to see what kind of knowledge they had to share a good few centuries past their assumed passing.

“I don’t think tech really does zombi-” Kaili remember the attack on the starport. “Never mind.”

A hand reached out to stroke against Allyson’s arms to offer comfort. “If there are, then we can handle them. We always do.”

“And I just had to make sure.” The girl grinned back at Allyson. “I wouldn’t count on you to forget a thing.”

There was a wink and as Kaili turned on her heel with a slight bounce to her steps. “And try to keep your eyes on the road.” She laughed. “The roots are what they are, don’t trip.”

“The bunker should be up ahead according to my calculations.”

Allyson watched as Kaili walked away, she loved watching Kaili walk away. Getting caught staring, the Corellian grinned sheepishly. Her eyes couldn't tear away from Kaili’s backside as she followed her a few paces behind. Her blasters were of course ready to be used and she wondered if whatever resistance they were going to encounter would be prepared. Allyson pointed to her head as she caught up with Kaili, as much as she would have enjoyed watching the Talith’s back side sway to and fro she had to be somewhat professional…maybe. “This head here, wouldn’t forget a thing! Its sharper than anything in this galaxy.” Allyson boasted with confidence, she was pretty good at memorizing things with a somewhat photogenic memory.

Reaching over, remembering the little remark about keeping her eyes on the road. Allyson smacked Kaili hard in the rear and glanced forward. She had exceptional eye sight, it helped when she was a pilot. The outline of a bunker or what would be the entrance of the bunker was somewhat visible to her. After the smack, came a hard squeeze of one of her butt cheeks. “I’d rather watch this, but if you say so.”

Taking off into a sprint once again, Allyson called back to her now competitor. “LAST ONE THERE SMELLS LIKE BANTHA POOP AND MICAH’S BREATH” [member="Kaili Talith"]

[member="Allyson Locke"]

It wasn’t exactly as if Kaili hadn’t swayed her hips just a bit extra for the sake of it. Allyson was hooked by now, and the blonde was as well. A few years ago the attention would have seemed so incredibly alien, yet now there were few things that mattered more to Kaili than to know that no matter where she was there was someone out there who held her, and her bottom, in their hearts. It reminded her of what her mother and father shared to a degree. Soliael and Kira had each other and they knew that they would always be able to count on one another. Kaili had Allyson, and despite being the youngest in her family she was the only one who was able to say that she had at the very least found someone that they wanted to commit to.

Micah, as charismatic as he was, had made many friends but-

A high-pitched, rather surprised squeal parted Kaili’s lips in surprise as a hand connected with her butt in force. Kaili felt her teeth sink into her lower lip as soft fingers dug in for a firm grab. Allyson commented on what she would much rather have watched, and Kaili felt her teeth dig even further into her lip. No, enough was enough, Kaili turned around hoping to tackle her lover to the floor once more and let it all out in ecstasy. Their vacation had only just started, the bunker could wait for a few minutes. Or an hour.

But as she turned on her toes she only managed to catch sight of one Allyson Locke speeding off into the distance towards the bunker. Disappointment flickered across the blonde woman’s mind as her brow perked at the challenge.

Oh, she wanted to be like that then.

Kaili could play that game too.

One footstep carried her towards the bunker as Kaili kept her mind on their bond and the feelings that Allyson felt. Another step lead her closer. The blonde looked for the exhilaration of an impending victory or the suspiciousness of a victory that was far too easy and set it up as a trigger that now was the time.

No. Allyson got closer, too close. This wouldn’t do. Kaili sped up using the force and placed herself before the Corellian at the base of the bunker. Arms wrapped around the Corellian that would, if things had gone as planned, run straight into Kaili. Soft lips patted against Allyson’s neck going for her jawline, and then her cheek, and finally her lips as Kaili let her intentions be known.

“We found it,” The blonde exhaled. “The rest can wait for a bit.”

Allyson knew she wasn’t going to win this, she was surprised that she had gotten this close to the finish line. With victory near she could taste it, but then she found herself being the one getting tasted. Kaili had used the Force against her and ended up beating her in the race, mostly preventing Allyson from getting to the end. A kiss on her neck, her jawline, her cheek and finally her lips, Allyson realized the intention that her lover was having.

Pulling away, Allyson chuckled and was out of breath. “Good.” It was all she said as she wrapped her arms around the blonde and pulled her even closer. Kisses trailed from the lips of the Talith woman, to her neck while hands played with the collar of the shirt she wore. Lips soon found the tender flesh of the base of Kaili’s neck and continued to her collarbone. Allyson bit the girl’s shoulder and soon pinned her against the bunker. Hands continue to wander, as Allyson returned the intent.

“The bunker can wait if we want it to…” Grinning, Allyson nipped softly at the blonde’s ear. “I can’t wait for you though, I need you now…” [member="Kaili Talith"]

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Her back was aligned against the wall with a soft thud as kisses were exchanged. It started with as a mesmerizing kiss against the blonde’s lips. Allyson’s skin slid against hers cheek, against her jaw and Kaili felt herself sink further and further from reality. Soft nibbles against her collarbone delivered her from it all as Kaili felt her body grow tense in anticipation. Nails dug into the Corellian’s shoulder and jaws tightened with ecstasy as the winds themselves whispered what she wanted into her ear. Kaili’s heartbeat set itself into a constant crash course for her ribcage threatening to pound against her body.

With the exchange from before she knew this was hers. This was only Kaili’s from now on, the exclusivity contract had been written in an unspoken agreement sealed with a kiss. She had known this truth for a long time but with the shift of a single ring there had been something so much more applied behind it.

“Enough talk.” Kaili muted Allyson with a kiss that never let go. Arms and legs gently lowered the Corellian onto the ground as Kaili’s hand kept her lover’s head in a caring embrace. It ran through her brown hair, let it wave through the winds one last time.

Idle hands grew impatient. Soft fingertips swept along Allyson’s waist before time itself began to fade into a state of non-importance.

Once more there was just two heartbeats and the sound of nature. Nothing else was needed.

The ecstasy that Kaili delivered was something that Allyson would never grow tired off. The woman was her drug and she was helplessly addicted to her. How did she get so lucky to find her? What in her short lifetime did she do to make it that Kaili Talith was her soul mate? Was this how love was supposed to feel? So many questions circulated in Allyson’s mind as she laid with her back resting against the bunker. It was an amazing feeling and Allyson never wanted to have it end.

Kaili seemed to have worn herself out. She rested against her lover’s unbuttoned and partially opened shirt. Allyson did her best to keep her breathing from being too heavy and wake the sleeping blonde. The wilderness made it's noise and Allyson thought fondly of the memory they had just made. It was as if it was their first time making love, it of course was not, but knowing that this experience and the woman with her was going to be hers till the day she died.

That promise of love made everything feel so new. Knowing that she couldn't get more of this drug, Allyson still tried. Moving Kaili enough to lay her back down, Allyson moved and slowly began to shower the girl in tender kisses. Either way, she mainly had the intention of waking her up. They had come all this way to find stuff on this technomancer and the Corellian knew the other woman would be grumpy if she didn't get what she originally came here for. [member="Kaili Talith"]

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Mouth ran agape by Allyson’s side as deep wheezing breaths ran through the blonde’s system at a slow but steady pace. Her disheveled hair was spread out across the ground, accompanied by the subtle glow of a sun starting its descent towards the horizon. She was tired, she was fulfilled, she was most likely able to go on, but Allyson’s kisses weren’t stopping until Kaili woke up. It was easy enough to pretend at first, but an increasingly sheepish smile gave her away until finally Kaili opened her eyes to look at Allyson again.

“Twenty more minutes.” She joked, yet not really. “Just twenty more.”

A deep sigh, or possibly a yawn, parted Kaili’s lips into an ungraceful ‘o’ while she sat up from the ground to stretch her arms. Eyes closed as her skin felt the chilling afternoon breeze saunter across. It took a while, but her system eventually caught up with her and made the ache on her back felt. The stiffness of her neck went away with a pop before she finally looked down to inspect her shirt for-

“Where’s my shirt?” Kaili blinked and began to look around. Hand raised towards a small item next to Allyson. The soft lavender-colored fabrics caressed her body until it covered her chest again. Brows perked at the rather excited handprint someone had left on it. A hand brushed against it to wipe it away, but it proved a bit harder than Kaili’d thought. No, she couldn’t do much but sigh and continue to brush against her waist and stomach.

She got halfway there when she realized that it was that shirt. The one that Kaili had thought to be too small, yet Allyson had insisted was ‘supposed to look like that.’ As such, it was also treated as an Allyson shirt, something mainly to be worn around the Corellian in question.

She buttoned the rest of her clothes up and reached for the jacket nearby.

“So, was that another item off the bucketlist?” Kaili chuckled and looked back at Allyson. “Woodland wrestling with Kaili.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

“Yep”

Allyson answered rather pleased with herself. She stood alongside the Borleian youth and buttoned up her own shirt. Her pants clung tightly to her legs, but the waist hung slightly. She continued to pull and tug on them till they were where they should be and she buttoned them up. Kaili knew how to get through the barrier that prevented her from feeling the skin of the Corellian, she was quick – which was always welcomed of course. Sighing softly, Allyson would have liked to spend the rest of the afternoon intertwined with the blonde, but they had things to do.

Reaching out, she quickly picked up the jacket and folded it under her arm. A grin followed as she looked at the shirt and the blonde. “What do you need a jacket for? It’s not cold silly loth-cat.” Looking back at the bunker she examined it and tried to figure out a way into the place. They could just burst through the wall, but that would take time and could alert people who were in the area.

Though, with how loud Kaili got, she highly doubted they were alone. Keeping the jacket, she looked back towards the girl next to her. “As for my bucket list, yes, it was and I plan on filling the entirety of it before I die.” Musing over the list she grinned and looked away from her lover. “I have one more thing on there that needs to be completed.” Finally handing the jacket over she glanced at the woman from the corner of her eyes.

“Care to know what it is?” [member="Kaili Talith"]

It had only taken years of practice to get that good at finding a way. Kaili could still remember the bump she had gotten on her forehead the first time they had tried this shuffle, back when the greatest foe she had ever faced was the insistent cling of her own shirt. Kaili and Allyson had managed to defeat that beast together and in the end it was one of the most endearing memories Allyson had.

Or so Kaili hoped.

The hand that had reached for the nearby jacket found itself empty-handed. Allyson took the jacket away and tucked it under her arm in a tease. Kaili chuckled and quirked her brow once again.

Yes yes, bucket list. Kaili kept her hand out for her jacket.

Allyson looked away and handed Kaili her jacket back. The girl happily grabbed a hold of it and proceeded to thrust her arm into its, well, arms.

“Sure, what’s that?” Kaili asked Allyson.

Eyes set on the bunker wall. Part of her most likely already knew what it was.

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Allyson continued to stare at the bunker, trying to figure out when Kaili was going to make a move for it. She hadn’t studied much on the place and she assumed Kaili had. Either way, Allyson was find being above ground and not shoved in a place that probably didn’t have a lot of air. The Corellian let silence hang for a moment. She wanted to build up the anticipation for her answer. It was probably something that Kaili had figured out with the string of events that had occurred. Yet, Allyson wouldn’t give her the satisfaction of being right this time.

Turning towards the blonde, she pulled her slender figure towards her tightly and hugged her. Pulling back, she grinned and took a step back. With extended arms, she showed the size of what she was about to proclaim as her last item on her bucket list.

“I want to eat a steak this big. Just a massive juicy steak. I heard there’s one on Naboo, a place that serves steaks this big. If you finish it within the hour you get your holo image placed on their wall. Wouldn’t that be amazing…immortalize on the wall of a small dinner in Naboo.” Allyson grinned and just imagined the steak.

Of course, that wasn’t her last item on her bucket list, but she couldn’t cave and make Kaili right with knowing that her final item was to marry her. [member="Kaili Talith"]

[member="Allyson Locke"]

The blonde hunched over and got ready to pounce once Allyson made a move for the bunker. In truth she wasn’t sure whether or not the race had ended yet and at this point, this far into it, Kaili was not going to lose under the excuse that ‘love made her forget.’ Silence hung and Kaili felt herself starting to question whether or not she had actually been right about this. Was it a stalling tactic? She drew Kaili into a hug and in that moment she couldn’t help but grow suspicious of it.

Wait, she wanted to eat a steak? That was her list item?

The girl perked her brow at Allyson.

“You… Want to eat a steak?” She sounded as surprised as she looked. “That big?”

“Okay…” She dragged out the vowels for good measure.

“Well, uh, okay that makes sense.” The blonde lowered her arms and dropped the idea that the race was still on. “I guess I could take you there, once you have the time for an outing like this again.”

A smile grew on the blonde’s lips as the sense of competition slowly faded in full. “We’ll make it a full day. You, me, and a whole day of eating.”

“But first, the bunker.” Kaili turned to look at it. “I can’t see any obvious entrances…”

“Suggestions?”

Allyson chuckled as Kaili seemed surprised at the ‘last bit of her bucket list’. It just solidified that Kaili had assumed otherwise, which made this little white lie even better. Although, Allyson would never pass on a steak that big, especially if Kaili was paying for it. Allyson could feel her mouth water already. Daydreams were cut short as Kaili decided to return to business. Looking at the woman and then back at the bunker she frowned.

“Okay I wasn’t crazy when I didn’t see anything. There’s anything you know from any research of underground tunnels?” Shrugging, she chuckled. “You would have thought that after rolling in the dirt like you did you would have found something.” Allyson turned her attention back to the bunker, she walked over and placed her hand onto the shell. Inhaling softly, she focused her mind, clearing it hoping to hear some conversation from the bunker’s wall. There was a faint language of old technology, something that the Corellian had never heard before. Her hand pulled away and she looked slightly defeated.

“It’s barely alive, but it’s there. I don’t know what its saying – I don’t recognize anything about it. Obviously its old.” Allyson was being trained, but this was beyond her reach. It was time for Kaili to show why she was the master Technomancer here. “I’d hate to punch through it, I mean – there’s no reason to if its alive…” Frowning, Allyson slightly realized her beliefs were starting to mirror Kaili’s.
