THE STORY SO FAR
"The past sharpens tomorrow."

This thread exists to chronicle the key events in the Mandalorian Empire — from the ashes of the old ways to the formation of a new, united Mandalore and beyond. This post will summarize major happenings in brief so new and returning members can quickly get caught up. This is our history. And we write it together.

TABLE OF CONTENTSFORMATION STORY

The Planeshift Calamity shattered everything. The Neo-Crusaders — fierce warriors who had reclaimed territory in Mandalore’s name — saw their gains wiped out overnight. Broken hyperlanes severed supply lines and fractured coordination. Their survivors abandoned fixed positions and took to the stars, forming a roaming fleet. One of their strongholds, by last report, was the old jungle moon of Dxun.

Mandalore paid the price. Cut off from trade and support, many ancestral worlds fell into chaos. Food ran dry. Medicine stopped arriving. What followed was famine, disease, and despair. The people were left with nothing but the dirt under their boots — and each other.

Into that storm stepped Aether of House Verd. He brought ships filled with supplies, credits to stabilize commerce, and the leadership the Clans had been waiting for. They didn’t just follow — they crowned him. As Mand’alor the Iron, he lit a path forward: placing new hyperspace beacons, reuniting broken worlds, and declaring that the new Empire would be built by merit, not blood. Under his rule, Mandalore would rise again — stronger, sharper, united.

THE DAR'MANDA PROCLAMATION

Mand’alor the Iron issued a galaxy-wide broadcast offering unity to all Mandalorians — exiles, outcasts, and so-called "dar'manda" alike. Declaring the slate cleaned, he called for an end to old grudges and invited all to return home without kneeling. The only expectation: live by the Resol’nare. With this, the stain of division was lifted, and the Empire became more than a banner — it became a people, choosing to rise together.

MANDALORE RISING

The resurgence began on Zanbar. Once a crucial listening post, it had succumbed to silence—its beacon dark, its swamps haunted by the dead. Mand’alor the Iron led a strike force into the depths and uncovered the truth: a warped jester named Harrow was behind the corruption, raising fallen Mandalorians in mockery of their legacy. The ensuing battle was savage, but the Empire prevailed, cleansing the moon and restoring its place among Mandalorian holdings.

Following Zanbar, the Mand'alor held a summit at Sundari, Representatives of the Mandalorian Empire, the Neo-Crusaders, and independent warriors gathered to confront their shared future. While tensions flared between the former rulers of Mandalore and the newly crowned Sole Ruler, both sides recognized that Mandalorian unity outweighed old grudges. With mutual understanding established, the Neo-Crusaders returned peacefully to Dxun.

The Court of Iron soon followed — a grand assembly within the Sundari Palace where Mand’alor Aether Verd hosted not only the Clans, but also envoys from beyond Mandalore. It marked the first formal encounters between the Mandalorian Empire, the Royal Naboo Republic, the Imperial Confederation, and the Iron Empire. Here, diplomacy walked beside tradition, and the Empire’s future was shaped in dialogue as much as steel.

The renewed Empire was tested on Ketaris during Operation: Creedfall. The planet had fallen into chaos as ancient Yuuzhan Vong warbeasts — awakened by the Planeshift — threatened to destroy it. Responding to the call for aid, Mandalorian forces struck hard, dismantling the monstrosities and offering the Caburian Creed to unite the people. Victory on Ketaris marked not just a battlefield triumph, but the expansion of Mandalore’s ideals to a world in need.

On Ancora, during Operation: Bondfire, the Mandalorian Empire confronted insurgents entrenched in the mountain stronghold of Camp Libertia. Despite initial orders to eradicate all resistance, Mand’alor Aether Verd chose a different path when the enemy sought surrender. Heeding the counsel of his warriors and valuing the lives of Ancora's people, he accepted their capitulation. This decision showcased that the Empire, under his leadership, is guided not by tyranny but by a balance of strength and compassion, attentive to both the morals of its warriors and the broader needs of Mandalore.
