[FACTION] An Emerging Super Power

Supreme Moff Viera Kisep was on her flagship a Sovereign-Class Super Star Destroyer (SSSD) named the Autarch
It was the pride of her personal fleet and was acompaned by
6 Victory I-class Star Destroyers
-6 Squadrons TIE Interceptors (Good)
-6 Squadrons Scimitar Bombers (Great)
6 Strike Cruisers
-12 Squadrons TIE Interceptors (Good)
6 Lancer Frigates
She smirked at her fleet which granted wasn't much compared to what her family had flown with in years past she had to make due until they could acquire more. Viera was relieved as the fleet left hyperspace. It was a relief that the Republic fleet didn't fire. She wanted to ensure her own saftey and was sure that this fleet would discourage any funny business. It was a strange feeling getting on the shuttle to the Star Defender. But she did so, followed by a squad of storm troopers, She would not travel completely alone, only a fool would. She didn't quite trust the Republic. The shuttle made its way on to the docking bay, and landed. Viera waited for someone to greet her, she couldn't wait to see what sort of ceremony the Republic would put on.

Intelligence regarding the reformation of the Imperial Remnant reached the ears of the Republic in no time at all. With their rise came two paths upon which the Republic could tread. They could either stand by and wait for the Sith Empire to either decimate the Remnant or form some sort of alliance with them, or the Republic could open dialogue with the Remnant and attempt to utilize diplomacy to form an alliance. Supreme Commander Dex Rostu chose the latter of these options and took it upon himself to extend an invitation to the Supreme Moff of the Imperial Remnant to speak on various matters and to potentially come to some sort of agreement with her.

Though he was certain that a treaty wouldn't be signed and ratified just yet, not without the consent of the Jedi Order and the Senate, he was certain that, if all went well this day, the Republic would be on the way to having an ally in the fight against the Sith Empire. As such, when the shuttle that had been sent to collect the Supreme Moff from her impressive detachment of ships, the Supreme Commander awaited her arrival in the hangar bay, flanked by two of his most elite soldiers. Between the two of them was approximately twenty yards of space, and forming a neat corridor between them were two columns of Republic soldiers.

The soldiers were lightly armed, some holding blasters and others did not. All "presented arms" when the shuttle doors opened, rendering salutes with the hand or rifle in response to the Moff's arrival. It was the most respectful, ceremonious greeting the men and women of the Star Defender could muster. Dex Rostu then stepped forward to greet the Moff, beaming and rendering a polite, diplomatic bow.

"Welcome to the Salvation, my name is Supreme Commander Dex Rostu. It is a pleasure to have you aboard."

Viera was impressed, they had greeted her like she had expected. She knew she was young for her postion and thus always tried hard to be respected. She walked down and gave a diplomatic bow back, and then extended her hand. She smiled as she only took two men with her, in their shuttle. They were both Imperial Knights and had been borrowed for her protection. " Thank you Supreme Commander Dex Rostu, I am Supreme Moff Viera Kisep. " It was strange that she now was on a republic ship and was here for diplomatic relations. She was still wondering what the Sith Empire's stance would be as well as the Mandolorians. This was the dance they played. If this went well, perhaps the Imperial Remnant and the Republic would be friends. " It is good to meet the man behind the figure. I have followed you and your faction in the news of late, it is no easy task to lead against forces such as the Sith Empire. "

She waited for some sort of cue of where to go, Viera was just a bit anxious to see what would happen from these talks.

As Dex rose, his back tightened slightly and a sharp pain shot through his spine; the veteran was getting old, but not too old! Nonetheless, he expertly hid the pain and did not even acknowledge it with an expression. Instead, he clasped the Supreme Moff's hand in his own and gave it a hearty shake.

"The pleasure's all mine Supreme Moff Viera Kisep."

He relinquished his hold upon her hand and stepped to her side, then proceed to motion for her to join him in walking. The Commander would guide her out of the hangar bay, into an elevator, and out onto the bridge where a table and chairs had been prepared for their meeting. Along the way, he would reply to her, saying. "You speak truth, it is no easy task to content with the Sith Empire; especially since they are ruthless as they are cunning. I can only hope that the Imperial Remnant seeks peace as much as we of the Republic do."

With that said, upon exiting the elevator Dex would take a seat at the round, white table. Motioning for her to join him. There they would discuss the matters that would ultimately decide their working relationship.

The moff observed the ship and its staff as they moved through it. She was young for a leader of her stature and wasn't sure what the Commander would think about that. She followed him through the bowels of the ship. Viera smiled as she took her seat, and pulled out her datapad, that was for notes and such. She wondered how to start this, "Well I would like to start out that we have no stance at the moment with anyone faction, but we are willing to discuss the possiblty of a friendship with the Republic. " She said observing him for his response. Her own face neutral, except for the fact one could see she was slightly anxious, this being her first diplomatic journey.
It was an interesting thing to talk with one faction like this, it could mean a start to a bitter or wonderful relationship.
