With the traditional Mandalorian Wrist-Guns being deemed "tacky" by him, Ezra decided he would create something else. Studying the blaster sold by his brother that was able to shoot both blaster bolts, and bullets, Ezra was able to analyze this. Researching the technology, he was able to recreate the equipment, but in a wrist-blaster set instead. This was further improved upon him to be lighterweight than the traditional Mandalorian Vambraces so he could use them more quickly. A special scanner that only allows them to fire when used by him when in his armor was added.
This was then continually upgraded by Ezra for his own use. It's become his signature weapons in combat. They were made to be his answer to the tech of the Mandalorians not being good enough.
