  • Cannot be used in vacuum
DESCRIPTION Due to the proliferation of sonic weapons on the market, and other weapons unable to be redirected by lightsabers, it was decided to produce a sonic weapon with two firing modes: one for incapacitating enemies at shorter range but that may leave larger targets mostly unaffected, and another one that fires a much more massive sonic blast, capable of causing immense damage to opponents and even to cause some damage to vehicles, especially repulsorlift systems. As with all sonic weapons, its muzzle velocity is the same as that of the speed of sound under atmospheric conditions at the time of firing. Of course, the stun mode can be fire much faster than the lethal mode, but the lethal mode is indiscriminate and can cause damage up to five meters from the impact point. The EZ-35 has three big drawbacks, however: for all its precision and range, it is big and bulky, it is ineffectual in a vacuum but even when there is, in fact, an atmosphere, one needs to protect their ears prior to firing.

This reads as extreme stopping power.

This doesn't even sound like a sonic blaster anymore, but certainly reads as something above "Very High" in stopping power.

Battlefield (3km, lethal mode)
This is roughly 7 times the distance of the typical sonic rifle, and you're describing this with damage far beyond any sonic weapon ever shown in star wars - and quite a bit above many blaster weapons, which sonic weapons are typically less powerful than. Either make this weapon less powerful or reduce the range to something reasonable.

[member="Lily Kuhn"] Lowered production to fit an extreme stopping power; I just lowered the range rating while removing any reference to a specific range, which may, in fact, depend on atmospherical conditions, as is often the case with sonic weapons.
