Seras saw them specially crafted and cared for with alchemical properties to manipulate and mess with the padawan but also because just making spy eyes would be too cliche.. better to have something that would undermine and ultimately allow him to make his own potential downfall... and if the secret of them was ever used well.. it could also give the sith a powerful advantage in the future... but that was a seed that would ahve to be cultivate eventually. For now the eyes being able to give manipulated words or show ones he cares for saying things that might be harsh or doubts he has in his own mind.. would be enough.

- Corpse vision: To slowly build off of and alter the vision of Ko as it uses sith magics to bring visions of loved ones and super impose them over those he knows often saying things to manipulate and undermine.

- Fermata Cage: THe penultimate function of the eyes, creating when around someone important a fermata cage that will suspend Ko as well as powerful individials possibly in time through the darkside of the force. Such as Valery Noble or her husband or some of the powerhouses in the beginnings for an invasion.
- AUra: Designed to be hidden in terms of its darkside aura the eyes look harmless and are designed for the Kel-dor through a charity on Hetzel after his defense of the planet.
- Eyes: Designed to be eyes, while force enhanced for manipulation and traps they are eyes with no real defensive value.
- Force Light: Being a darkside crafted item the lightside of the force is incredibly strong at breaking it.
- Force Nullification: Force voids and other dampening effects diksrupt the power of the eyes and will make Ko effectively blind once again.
