Eye Shading Help

I've tried over and over again and I just can't get it right. Is there anyone out there who knows how to shade well who can help me out with my avatar's eye shading? If you need the PSD, I gotchu.

I would greatly appreciate it.

Slap an inner shadow effect on the layer and play around with its settings. Should be a good start.
You'll find it under the layer's blending options >> inner shadow.
