Eye of the Storm

The feeling of the ship as it arrived came to her, Sala'dine stood at the ready to observe what they had here. The world itself where the advanced scouts had discovered this sleg. Compared to what they had seen before where they were getting to use the material here for advanced reactors able to overpower and become something far better then a number of other things. She had seen some of the specs for the old ships the Silver Sanctum used and improving on the things there would be easy if they needed it. She had some ideas plus using the sleg in a reactor would exponentially increase its power compared to many of the others. She was looking at the massive designs from the scientists on the planets that had been recovered. They were doing things with energy production to a level that no one else was going to be able to do.

"My lady we have arrived over the world designated Sangral and scans are showing the jedi beacons for us to follow. We are beginning to prepare and send down teams while the escort ships provide what information and research things we are needing to work with." Sala'dine looked at all of it with a nod of her head while she walked across the bridge of the ship showing all of it. The planet below as well as the information aout it when it was going into the different things that they were going to work with. "Alright, we shall work on most of it as needed. Provide yourself with some safety as the technology going into the research on this planet came from learning how to harvest the small sun created by the ionization reactors. Then it used one of the more dangerous and explosive substances to increase the enery to levels that could begin to power entire planets."

She was wanting to see that and she knew the technology or well the basis for the technology. Given the level of development from this civilization before they vanished she doubted they had come up with it and that had been confirmed. The reports showed they had discovered another ship and it had crashed onto the planet. Providing them with a lot of technology that no doubt had managed to give them some influences as it came away to show all of them. The woman was looking at the design until she gave a nod of her head seeign where the other ships were sending things out and she could see it. "Launch fighters and prepare for the exercises. I want to see what we can get out of this." She said it with a grin on her face though because this was where the fun would begin.

Her attention to the smaller details while she was moving to sit in the captains chair on the bridge. it had been designed with interest and appeal in mind as well as for ways that it would be able to target and move around. As the teams were going down tot he planet and the facilities themselves as well as searching for some of the mines on the planet. They were not working to create problems but they were looking to get the information and everything that they could do. "Status reports." She was wondering what it all looked like as from the bridge of the ship she could look out across the body of it when the sides were opening up to let the interior hanger be exposed just enough for the ships to start pouring out. It was a massive interior hanger.

She was seeing the display of the ship itself where they wanted to work on it, hell there was a lot more a lot more impressive work to put into it. She knew the drop pods they were planning on holding within the ship itself would serve a purpose as well before she brought up their design for herself. It would be an important thing to do as the different jedi moved around for themselves. "Admiral the teams are moving around and giving reports, they have worked on discovering things here." The research would work with them before she gave a nod of her head to them. "Alright then, proceed and send the teams in then I will take an escort down to the planet to see what has been getting worked on. Once the researchers and techs get a chance to explore and find what they can."

She had a few other ideas but they would need to be very careful and more important they were going to need to work on more of it. As an admiral she had done a lot and prepared some so getting to go through and work with different ships would better prepare her for a couple of the more interesting parts of this challenge. She knew they were going to have the facility itself to explore once they had the teams on the planets reporting in. "Admiral, we have everything that we need being sent in and prepared." She had the images of the ship itself as it was moving with their fighters swarming around. The advanced jedi fighters were giving them a number of things to work with the aces on. There were marines and rangers on the ground working to secure the facility.

There was some chimes on the computer as the information was being brought up, from what Sorel and Orihime about the sciences they had brought up. Much like a hypermatter reactor that smashed it and produced the energy they were developing miniature suns for themselves then drawing the energy from them for themselves. Their ionization technology was above par it was that they lacked proper hyperdrives or faster then light travel which saw them confined to their own system unless they were making sleeper or generational ships that would be able to travel the distance between systems in the galaxy. She knew this technology itself, drawing energy from the sun and then storing it while they were able to use it with the sleg where she saw they were able to power half the planet.

"What is the status on the planet for recovering and looking through the city?" She was curious about what they would be able to work with and on in some of the cases. she wanted to work with all of it but they were going to need to handle the real test. There was a lot of asteroids in orbit that would and were eventually decaying before impacting on the surface. Evidence of previous impacts were there as they had gotten a moon destroyed before the woman was moving. "Then while we wait for a status report I want you to take some target practice. Bring us about and begin prep so that we will be smashing and using the different asteroids for target practice with the new systems."

She got some cheers mostly because she had soldiers and one of the more fun things was getting to test out big destructive toys in a target area. The practice could be fun, many didn't like the actual thing and she respected that. Targets that are made to be destroyed for getting a feel and weren't real things... There was something to be said about it. So they were moving into position around the asteroids as she started to see the hull of the ship coming to life. The small swivel of the fireward gun that gave them one of the largest firing arcs but there was still planet around them that would be able to work. The weapon systems of the ship were after all made to protect from all angles but still have anything in front of it beelined for the slag pile.

She looked at it as they were firing off the guns and charging the cannons. The massive ones they had installed and set up on the ship in a locked forward firing arc were important to the things that they were doing. She could see some of the largest asteroids were being targeted and a solution being set up so that they would be able to use it. She wanted to see a number of things for themselves before her hands moved to her back. The small as she clasped it going over a few of the things until she was giving a few other ideas. "Alright then, once we have what we want, I want you to start setting up all of the things. Get the targeting solution for the largest asteroids and position use for the beam cannons to be able to fire."

She was watching them as they fired off the shots, blue energy volley's going into the rock as they exploded in flashes of light from the energy smashing all of it so they would be able to see it. The others with her as the weapon techs were going off with more of the bigger places they were seeing. Fighters moving around to avoid the large things that came from the asteroids explosion. She could see them dodge then head around while they were testing out the areas themselves. Wanting to see more of it and prepare some of the guided bombs that didn't use the targeting computers but their force capabilities of the aces. She could see some of the bombs go off in the distance as they were blowing up larger chunks.

She could see more of it as explosions rocked around making the shield glimmer from the small debris. Their defensive blisters activating to take out the larger chunks with the accuracy needed before finally moving to the bigger sections. They had the charge as one of the largest asteroids were within range as Sala'dine spoke moving into a proper position. The ones near her standing there ready to work on things. "Cannons are ready admiral and we have a target lock." She saw it while prepared to work out it. "All fighters clear the area and prepare for test firing. Begin the countdown and fire when ready." She heard the chrono start at ten seconds while the few fighters swarming around moved out of t he way of the forward guns.

As the sound of it counting down came she was thinking about what might happen, the cannons could fail or worse overheat. They were using the better and more powerful reactors but there was something to be said and a reason why they were going after the reactors that could be upgraded on the planet below. If all worked out properly then they should easily be able to continue and use it all as a massive section. She wanted to develop parts of it as they fired off, the largest of the asteroids in range that they had cleared a pathway through the rest to and it was being struck by the twin forward mounted cannons that for a moment she thought weren't working and then it exploded with a flash of brilliance.

She could see it as it was detonating with the flashes of the cannon making it into dust. The woman was looking at all of it before she spoke to many of the things that they would be prepared for. "Reports." She was looking at all fo them so that she would be able to get some of the interest for herself. "They are coming in, the testing firing was successful admiral and we are working on more of the things to get information. We are seeing a massive power draw and will need to work on it. Hopefully this sleg reactor they developed will compensate but we should be good for firing this off in live combat situations without it impacting us to much. We'll just need to have the engineers set up a secondary reactor to charge the cannons."

Alright then she would have to work with that, they would have to go and get the information about the reactor, they ore and how muc exactly would be abel to be used. A sleg reactor in theory and on paper sure sounds good but if it was to dangerous or two large then they would have to make it differently or scale it down or see about what they were doing. Using the energy from the miniature suns that they have been working on was going to give them a lot of power already and they could produce it for themselves if all went well. "Then we will go down to that planet and work on the informaiton to see if we can improve the ships power systems for ourselves. We will use these sleg reactors to add the juice we need and want."

That would work for her, the first leg of their testing and the journey that was here on the planet was well coming to an end and she would be able to go off and work on some more of the things. She knew more about what they were going to be wanting to and be able to do with the biots themselves. She knew some of the limitations and the research for what they were doing at the reconstructed base prime on the monolith itself was research into the force itself before she was movign around. Wanting to see what they might be able to do until she came about. "Alright then, we will continue testing here and send a team of escort marine teams. Have all of the ones we can set up down there."

She got nods of confirmation from all of them when they were heading towards the armory so that she would be able to really get her equipment they were making and fitting for her. Wanting to see all of it as well as her marines who were being able to work on more of the things. "We have things for you admiral, there is some new equipment and some new droids that the jedi have been developing to try and test out. If all goes well it should be a fairly impressive team you have for protection." SHe knew some of the droid they were looking to work on were designed like the old model YVH droids that were heavily armored, heavily armed and made to handle intense combat situations instead of sending rangers into danger.

She walked through the ship prepared to go and see while they were going into the room, droids who were working to maintain the armor and weapons in the room. A whole lot of work and tactical training had gone into many of their things. THe admiral wanted to do all she could so they would be able to depend on things. "THis looks impressive, you have spent a great deal of time working to get the best gear i see." She was looking at the ranger's equipment and a number of the weapons that the soldiers were able to use. her soldiers were skilled, the marines there until she moved around to see one of the droids using the multipurpose rifle to defend her and the various setting that were a part of it. "Most impressive."

She moved around while looking over the weapons and she didn't need a heavy weapon or one of the larger rifles. The pistols and a combat knife was more then enough protection for her when she had her soldiers going forward as she slid into the belt she was wearing one of the lightfoils for herself. A boot secured combat knife to look over and a pistol with a nod of her head. "This will do for me." She was setting it all up so they would be able to see it with the others. walking with them out of the armory so they would be able to see it until they got into the hanger section of the ship. The massive hanger was being filled with ships for the fighters they had as well as the transports. There was also where you could see the drop pods.

The drop pods were something she was looking to work with and provide them a whole new level as they were going to be worked on. Pre-fabricated command pods that were made to house a company and armor division for use on a planet. This was a ship made ot be in a system itself with the shielding and armor to defend as well as the weapons to easily handle the situations. They would have the frigates for interdiction and the stealth destroyers with it as well to provide support and make a very nice fleet that could work together. Using the information they could they would be able ot get through with more of the dangerous aspects like getting the saratai to a higher level of production to supply fleets.
