Laughter filled the small household as 14-year-old Kira jumped excitingly up and down by the door out to the open fields. She had finished her homework and was waiting for her brother to finish the last of his. "Come on, hurry!" called Kira impatiently. Kira and her brother had recently held their birthday as twins no later than yesterday, where their parents had bought them realistic-looking toy lightsabers. The toy worked exactly like the real deal, made the sound, could retract and ignite, but was unable to actually hurt any with it.

"Honey, don't stress out your brother," said their mother, shaking her head over how excited her children were over their toys. It had been a bit on the expensive side of the budget, but seeing the pure overwhelming joy that lit up in the twin's eyes, was well worth the credits.

"DONE!" cheered Felix, finally having finished his own homework and dashed from the table to grab his own toy lightsaber and joined his sister by the door, who only cheered with a high-piece cheer of her own. Right before rushing outside, their dad called, "don't run too far from the house or town".

Both halfway outside the door only called back, "we knooow!" before disappearing from the doorframe. Both parents just shook their heads with a smile. "They're getting all that energy from your side of the family" joked the father at his wife. "They most certainly do not!" laughed his wife and lightly slapped her husband's upper arm.

It was a bright warm day as the twins ran through the open marketplace. Kira and Felix filled their surroundings with laughter, dashing around people in their way, heading for the open fields outside the town while simultaneously swinging their realistic toy sabres around.

"Oi!, watch where you swing those, kids!" reprimanded a Twi'lek who owned one of the stalls at the market and only just managed to dodge a toy blade. Both kids halted and powered down their toy blades, "sorry mister Ryloan" said the twins, looking embarrassed. Kneeling down to the kid's level, the Twi'lek raised an eyebrow as he saw right through their attempt. "You know I can still see right through you both?" said the Twi'lek with a bit of a humorous smirk on his lips, breaking the twin's attempt to be embarrassed and giving him the biggest innocently smile they could muster.

Shaking his head shooing the kids, "run along" which earned him another wide smile as they ran in the direction of the expansive green fields. The Twi'lek just smiled, watching the exciting kids spend the day out playing, before turning his attention back to some new customers.

The twins finally exited the town and ran through the open fields, laughing and pretending to duel each other as they got further and further away. "Lightning! I got you!" yelled Felix with an attempt to crackle like a moustache-twirling villain.

"NA-HUH, I blocked it with my lightsaber!" called Kira back, holding it in front of her like she had seen the Jedi do.

"Ya-huh! You can't block my lightning, for it's super powerful!" quipped her twin brother back.

Before the twins could argue any further, the cloudless, warm sunny sky, suddenly became incredibly grey and gloomy, as out of nowhere, a dark thunderstorm rumbled, claiming the sky and moving in the town's direction.

"Where did that come from?" Asked Felix nervously, having not seen any clouds, thunderstorms or been told by their parents that anything like that would appear today.

"I don't know, but I don't like it, let's go back," said Kira, as she was scared of thunder.

Soon they rushed back, to get inside, but because they had run off so far from the town, the storm would arrive over the town first.

They both had a bad feeling about this...

"This is even more of a backwater than Vlemoth."

Kel was complaining while a bunch of them wandered around just outside the port - which equaled to just grass plains.
"At least we got trees and weapon factories, you know?" Jane said.
"We need fuel. Once that's done, we'll be on our way." Shel told them as two kids rushed past them, playing as they went.
"Good to know there's at least more than five people on this rock." Evelyn remarked as she looked after them.

The group came to a stop as they looked over the plains.
"You think folks back home are doing ok?" Kel asked.
"I hope so. We had to leave. But I believe they'll be fine." the Nautolan answered him.
"No word on that bastard pirate posing in our armour?"
Shel's face darkened. "I wish. He's got a debt to settle for that transponder." she sneered.

All of a sudden, the sky went dark, an immense storm rolling in from the blue.
"Huh." Jane remarked.
The Nautolan's tentacles bristled. Something was off.
"Let's get back to the ship." she said just before the kids that had rushed past them earlier came charging back down the road, The girl, especially, looked panicked. Shel stopped them momentarily.
"You guys need a lift? We're going back to town as well." she said.
"Yes, please." they both said with wide eyes as they looked at the bunch of warriors.
Shel nodded to her Clan members before her jetpack came to life.

As one, the group rose up into the air to rush toward town, carrying the kids with them.

Just as they touched down at the port, the ominous cloud settled over town, thunder crackling.
Shel pulled on her helmet to see if she could get a better visual or stats. For all they knew, it was Sith.
But what the HUD picked was odd....nuclear readings within the cloud...

"It's a ship?"

When Shell arrived with her clan members and touched down, she could see people on edge, some packing their stall down fearing the storm might curse harm, while some talked among each other, pointing up at the suddenly strangely appeared storm. Kira and Felix quickly thanked Shel with starstruck eyes, seeing real Mandalorians for the first time in first, before quickly dashing between people to their front door, where their parents were almost about to go out and look for their children.

"A storm? Around this time of day?" Spoke one confused woman to a man beside her.

"Yea, the weather reports spoke nothing of any storms, especially of this kind..." agreed the man, scratching his long beard by the base.

The storm completely devoured the part of the town, crackling and booming threateningly at any below. Not only did Shel's HUD pick up nuclear readings, but her HUD also caught static, causing it to flicker and act out as if it was broken.

Then, despite Shel's HUD acting out, she could pick up readings of something falling out of the wrathful storm, no not falling, dropping.

First, a couple, which turned to 10, which then turned to 20 things, dropped out of the storm like hail in winter. That's then Shel's HUD picked up what it was... warriors, many warriors, but not just any warriors, Mandalorians warriors. The strange and highly suspicious part about the appearance of so many Mandalorians dropping in on the town was the fact that there wasn't a battle being fought against the Enclave's enemies.

However, any questions Shel might have had was quickly answered when a rain of stunning bolts was fired at anyone who stood out in the open plaza of the town. Left and right, Shel and her clan members saw the inhabitants get blasted by stunning bolts, dropping like a sack of potatoes. Even Shel and her clan members had to act quickly if they didn't want to get hit by bolts fired upon them from the air.

An absolute panic broke out as everyone attempted to flee as strange Mandalorians, clad in metallic grey with gold and green coloured beskar'gam. A sigil of two Loth-wolves flanking a tree adorned their chest and left pauldron. Shel and everyone else were completely surrounded all over by more and more of those who dropped out of the storm and landed on rooftops and the ground.

What Shel and her clan members witnessed was nothing short of horrifying, the Mandalorians started to not only gather up those they had stopped, but many more started to actively chase anyone who wasn't them, either killing them or stunning them for capture.

It wouldn't take a genius to figure out that this was a raid, pure and simple.

"ᛏᚼᛂ ᛕᚢᛆᚱᛨᛁᛆᚾᛋ ᛆᚱᛂ ᚣᛁᛏᚼ ᚢᛋ ᛏᚮᛨᛆᛦᚪ" spoke one of the Mandalorians with a cheer to his voice, but he spoke a language completely foreign and unlike anything Shell most likely had heard. The language spoken had an almost otherworld tone to it with how it was spoken.

However, Shel had little time to react, for she and her Clan members were soon overwhelmed by 5 of the attacking Mandalorian Clan, all firing either stun bolts or live rounds og slugs at them.

Meanwhile, doors were kicked in, guards and whoever else was unlucky enough was shot on the spot, while those who had kicked in doors, began a brutal process of dragging inhabitants out of the homes.

Like many homes, the front door where Kira and Felix lived, was blown up by the handle with a slugthrower, as two Mandalorians entered the small home. A couple of lights from blasters lit up the room, whereafter a kicking and screaming mother, followed by a crying Kira and Felix were dragged out of their home without the father to be seen anywhere.

On top of catching and gathering prisoners at the plaza, many other Mandalorians exited homes and carried valuables and riches from any homes or town buildings that held any sort of valuables worth taking. Surprisingly enough, a lot of the goods that were taken, were all manners of foods packed in large bags.

To make matters worse, a heavily armed dropship appeared out of the storm, heading directly for the open plaza.

Things very quickly took a nasty turn.

Static interfered heavily with her HUD, but the bit it did pick up, was disconcerting. Shel immediately recognised the armour, as foreign as it might be.

They were Mado'ade.

<TO ARMS, CLAN BEROYA!> she ordered as jetpacks powered up once more as helmets were pulled over heads. More of Clan Beroya peeled out of the port and into the air, repeaters and carbines at the ready.
<Hold fire for now.> she ordered. <Who's with the ship?>
<Teyr and Nam.> reported Freya Awaud.
<Get the Narglatch in the air! Prime all armaments and stand by. Only engage if you are engaged.> she barked at the duo over the comms. <There's a ship in that cloud.>

All the while, warriors dropped down to the ground, stunning people left and right and dragging others from their homes against their will. And then the Beroya Frigate rose into the sky as its armaments started to prime.

All of a sudden, the Clan was surrounded by a group of the attacking warriors. Not that the Beroyas and Awauds were fools to let themselves get captured or killed. Shields had deployed immediately as the first live round rebounded from Kel's armour.
<Keep some of them alive!> Shel ordered, as one pistol was on stun setting while the other fired golden particle bolts back at their assailants while zipping around with her jetpack. All the while she heard a language coming from them that sounded similar to Mando'a in some ways, but she couldn't understand all of it.

It didn't take long for the large group of Beroyas to deal with the invaders around them. But it was just in time for Shel to notice a great dropship dropping down to the plaza.
<Teyr, I need cannons on that dropship. Hold fire and wait for my mark. Increase shields while you're at it. I have no idea who these Mando'ade are, but they're not Maw.> the Nautolan ordered as she and the rest started flying toward the plaza - stunning what warriors they could to give some townsfolk a chance to get away.
<Got it, Alor'ad. Awaiting your order.> Teyr confirmed.
Who the hell were these people? If it wasn't the damnable Dar'manda pirate Rohak Vizsla Rohak Vizsla and his crew plaguing the Clan, it was something else.

Shel felt like it all started with the Enclave's arrival in their lives.

Fast and agile, Shel and her clan members would find the aggressors equally skilled warriors as any bolts fired only pinged off of the beskar'gam armour. However, Shel and her clan members quickly gained the attention of many of the other raiding Mandalorians as Shel and her members were some of the only ones who pushed back.

A giant man, clad in gold and silver-greyish beskar'gam threw a young man by the neck with a great show of strength as two other Mandalorians of the clan grabbed and shackled him as the young man was pulled over to the rest of the prisoners. As the giant turned to stare in the direction where Shel and her allies flew with more firing Mandalorians hot on Shel and her allies' heels, the Nautolan witness signs start to glow, no not signs, runes. Bright glowing runes burned a bright ice blue colour all over the giant's armoured body.

In a bull charge, he jumped into the air and powered his jetpack flying directly at Shell and her allies while they had pursued Mandalorians behind them firing live rounds at Shel and her crew's jetpacks, in an attempt to take out their mobility.

In mid-air, Shel felt her entire body get pounded out of the air and slammed into the ground of what would feel like getting hit by a truck and yet, nothing visible had hit her. As quick as the Nautolan warrior had been crashed into the ground, just as fast as she slung through a wall by the giant Mandalorian who landed by the hole created by Shel's body.

<"Come on little birdie, come out to play"> spoke the giant with a gruff voice warrior in Mando'a, instead of the foreign language, yet weirdly sounded familiar in some sense.

Shel's clan members did not have time to stop, or they would get jumped by multiple Mandalorians of the foreign clan, dead set on stunning and killing them, whichever hit first it seemed.

The closer Shel's clan members got to the plaza the more of the foreign Mandalorian warriors were present and the more in danger they placed themself in as even more of the raiders would see them and have no trouble jumping them and if Shel's crew members continued they would be completely outgunned and outmanned as more and more warriors in fully armoured beskar'gam attack them.

Those that didn't go after Shel's clan members continued to gather loot and prisoners they could get their hands on as the heavily armed and fast dropship performed not only fast but agile maneuverer by the large plaza. The back of the dropship didn't have more raiders exit to join the chaos but immediately started to aid the others to carry loot and prisoners onto the dropship in not only an organised manner but incredibly fast.

It was clear to anyone that watched that these Mandalorians were raiders, heavily armed, professional and coordinated in what they did. These weren't here to wage war, send a message or cause needless destruction, but to get in, take what they can get and get out.
