SPECIAL FEATURES

• Erinar "Draika" Diamond: The Eye is comprised of a smooth and polished Erinar Diamond, infused with the essence of the Dark Side. While not a nexus, it is sheer raw energy waiting to be harnessed.
• Sith Alchemized Alloy Housing: The back of the eye appears of wrought gold, though it is in truth an alchemical alloy of the Sith.

STRENGTHS

• Dragon's Wrath: Erinar Diamonds exude an absurd amount of heat and the Eye is no exception. The raw potential of this diamond is such that it could even power the turbolaser battery of a starship. By channeling this pure energy the wielder can employ the ancient Sith technique of Deadly Sight to horrific effect. By projecting the wielder's fury and hatred in an intense glare, the Eye can blister the skin of those it focuses upon with merely a glance. A mere second of focused rage can cause an object to spontaneously combust or clothes to catch fire. But prolonged exposure can vaporize entire limbs. Even whole groups of enemies can be brought low merely by looking upon them, their bodies smoking and flames springing as if from nowhere to consume them. Such is the power of the Eye that while the ability is normally tiring to sustain, the wielder can rely on the innate power of the diamond to avoid exhaustion from its use.
• Dragon's Sight: More powerful perhaps than the destructive capabilities of the Eye is its ability to pierce through illusions. Enhanced Force Sight allows the wielder to penetrate all but the most mystical of illusion techniques, such as Fallanassi White Current. It is particularly apt at seeing through those created by Sith magic.

WEAKNESSES

• Heat Sink: A Sith alchemized alloy houses the Eye, such that when placed inside the eye socket it serves as a heat sink to prevent the diamond from reaching temperatures hot enough to melt the face of the wielder. However, excessive use of the Eye's powers can overstrain the heat sink and cause both metal and diamond to reach dangerous degrees, burning the wielder. For instance, utilizing Deadly Sight repeatedly within a short amount of time without allowing for a cool down period will result in first degree burns around the eye socket. Continued use after that point could result in second and third degree burns, scarring, and potentially death.
• Blind-Eye: The wielder is blind on the side using the prosthetic but for Force Sight, which is inhibited by Force nullification techniques and materials.

DESCRIPTION
After the Sith warrior Varin Mortifer lost his left eye, he came to the Sith alchemist, forgemaster, and Vahlan warlord Hasuras na-Gerra for aid with a replacement. Fashioned from a smoothly polished Erinar "Draika" Diamond and housed in a golden alchemical alloy inside Varin's eyesocket, the Eye of the Dragon gives Varin a fearsome aspect. Its raw power is capable of devastating potential in battle, with strength sufficient to power the weapons of a capital ship. But it is not without its drawbacks. As ever, the Dark Side corrupts. And it calls to Varin to use it, to wield it. But the more it is wielded, the more the corruption takes hold. Overuse might see the young dragon's socket around the Eye blacken and char with new scars. Only time will tell how he should use it.
