Have a criminal character looking for employment? I've got an offer for you.
In the marvelous faction known as The Underworld, different criminal groups vie for influence over planets in their own shadowy version of the map game. This represents control of local criminal activities rather than visible political control, and it has its own version of a Dominion called an Exploitation. The Renatasian Confederation, a smuggling network operating among the backwater worlds of the Centrality, is taking on its first Exploitation, and it's hiring smugglers, mercenaries, pirates, and other ne'er-do-wells to assist.
The Confederation has set its sights on Erilnar, the prosperous capital of the Centrality, as a location from which to begin its expansion. There are options for all types of characters to participate: smuggling goods past Centrality customs patrols, setting up illegal business opportunities planetside, or fighting local gangs that are trying to stop the Confederation from seizing control of the local underworld. Participating also gives you a chance to set up a relationship with a network that can provide future employment.
Participants will be well-paid by the Confederation in credits, guns, and valuable Lesai Spice, which allows a user to go without sleep.
If you'd be interested in having one of your characters participate, feel free to check in here. We will shoot for 100 posts, but if we surpass that we can always keep going.
