Private Experiencing Transcendence

It was a long walk towards the ancient ruins what wasn't helping was the Sun's inhospitable rays creating a hot and humid environment. Compared to the force filled lands of Korriban, Tash Taral was bereft of any life. It was as though the force has forsaken this planet and it's only held up thanks to a couple of powerful dark siders who were interested in experimentation. Darth Sorn didn't let the heat bother him though, the dark side has kept him strong and determined to see his mission through. Ishani was walking beside him just as curious as he was though she is filled with doubt. "We are almost there," Sorn said holding on to his Lightsaber. "I can feel it we'll need to be extra cautious however. Like the Sith today, the Sith of the past were always protective of their possessions there could be traps lying in wait."

After a long, grueling walk in the scorching desert heat, the two stood before the ruins. Ishani dug around in her bag, retrieving an energy bow and a quiver full of arrows - her preferred weapon.

"All right," she said, following Sorn into the long-abandoned structure. It didn't look like a tomb, at least not to her eyes. More like... a school? Or perhaps a library? It was too run-down to be certain.

Within minutes, she felt the same overpowering Dark energies Sorn sensed, like a miasma in the air. She wrinkled her nose. It resembled an overwhelmingly unpleasant odor. "Could there be anyone or anything alive in here?" she asked. "Or is it all just ghosts and demons?"

"As I said before," Sorn said as they reached the entrance. "Spirits usually a piece of the person implanted on them. The Sith Lords were known to hide their spirits within the Holocrons. It's a way of preserving their lives after death, it's not perfect but it is effective especially when gullible treasure hunters attempt to steal items that they have no idea how powerful and valuable they are."

The Sith Lord dragged his fingers against the sandy door. "There could ancient monsters that guard this place as well." Sorn examined the symbols that were integrated on the wall. "First we must find a way to enter."
