Experiencing a New Life

CORUSCANT:
Eclipse Tavern, Second Floor

No one in this bar seemed to understand that no means no. Or at least the drunken, flirtatious males that occupied this area of it. Several times they had attempted to get the warrior's attention, using idiotic pick lines in an attempt to get in her pants. So far they had all failed, eventually giving up. Dawn Irisael could be considered a stubborn woman. More realistically, she simply did not experience most emotions, and found the idea of love to be strange, ridiculous even. Currently a Zabrak male was ignoring her obvious rejection of him, placing his hand on her shoulder while blabbering on and on.

Rather annoyed, she raised her hand, pushing him away. Unfortunately he did not take the action well, and started cursing her out. Some people were aggravated so easily... Standing up the woman threw a punch, easily breaking the man's nose and sending him tumbling back. After all, her fists were inclosed in gauntlets, just part of the armor she almost always wore. Two blades were at her sides, and a blaster was strapped to her thigh. It seemed very odd that anyone would try to approach her, given her appearance. Perhaps they simply thought she was a mercenary, celebrating a successful mission?

"Take a walk, hornhead."
"You gonna make me, Mando?"
That was the last thing that the Zabrak said before he found himself being choked. Even after getting punched in the face, he was either drunk or stupid enough to upset Preliat, and that was not a good thing given Preliat's current mood. He sighed for a moment, and in a flash, the Zabrak was flat on his ass, holding his stomach, writhing in pain. Preliat had used his armored knee to smash his solar plexus, removing the air from his lungs and causing him quite a bit of pain in the process.

Preliat adjusted the cloak that went over his shoulder, and then sat next to the lady. He was still wearing his helmet, and the rest of his armor as well. Mandalorians had the most recognizable armor in the galaxy, and he actually was admiring her armor before admiring her face. He stared at her for a moment, before gesturing to the bar."Drink?"Preliat said behind his helmet, in the the distinctive outward audio of the helmets that made his people so feared, famous, and admired by some.

Interesting. Even after being smashed in the face the Zabrak had not given up. But before Dawn could make sure he left, someone else intervened. An amused chuckle left her lips as she watched the Mandalorian knock the hornhead down. Out of all beings in the galaxy, the Mandos were the ones that she respected the most. All were hardened warriors, famous for their skill an sense of honor. If anyone in this tavern was to earn the woman's admiration, it would be this man. Turning to face him Dawn smiled slightly before answering.

"That would be nice. Though I can pay for myself," she said, gesturing to the half empty glass already in front of her. With a nod she sat back down, downing the rest of her beverage. The burning sensation was something she wasn't terribly used to, having not had any alcohol back on Boz Pity. Her travels to other planets (going with her 'family') were her only chance to try to have fun, or experience things like bars, casinos, and stores.

He watched her again for a moment, before gesturing to the barkeep."Tihaar, two shots."He said, blinking and sliding himself closer to her. He had an aura about him, that this was more business and less pleasure. Preliat emanated mercenary and bounty hunter from his very presence, and he sighed to himself, before receiving his beverage. He debated on whether to use the straw on his helmet, or to actually take it off. He decided on the straw, to keep up his Mandalorian appearance. He slid the other shot towards her, silently putting up his own glass of Tihaar. It was a clear spirit, and had the distinct taste of degreaser.

Some said it could be used to degrease engine parts. Which, was only partially true. It didn't work as well as you'd like it to, but it could clear up your throat wonderfully."What's your name?"He inquired, giving no hint of his own name or his intention here.

With a little nod and a "Thanks," she accepted the drink, taking a sip. The taste was a little odd, but one that Dawn found interesting enough to enjoy. For a moment she remained quiet, pulling out a few credits. Even if the Mando offered to pay, she'd likely do so herself. After all her 'family' had supplied her with more money than she needed. A lot more, to be exact. After taking another sip of her beverage she opened her mouth to answer the question. "Dawn Irisael, of Boz Pity," she responded. After another moment she continued, asking a question of her own. "And you?"

Preliat didn't look at her when he spoke, his mind seemed to be in different places or in a different galaxy altogether. He sighed, tapping his hands on the bar after she spoke, then turned to her, as if he was thinking of other things and realized what she said."Preliat Mantis, a pleasure, Miss Dawn."He took his shot rather painfully, shaking his head after the straw in his helmet retracted. Like most Mandalorians, he was very interested in her armor. Though to the casual observer, it seemed he just turned his head towards her.

"Your armor..." He began, gesturing with his gauntleted hand.
