The history of the rift at this time is still shrouded in mystery as up until recently its been a inactive face found in a mine on Fondor however after the Omni crisis with the oblivion battle the rift seemed to have come to life. the reason for this is still unknown to hades corp however the various memebers of the board deemed it nessisary to to send in scouting parties into the location first. however out of the 3 scouting parties originally sent in one of them didnt return.

with the influx of capital from trade goods and services hades corp with the help of the Rimworld Trade league has managed to get the materials and ability to begin research and expidtions into the rift. to learn what they can from the unknown of this place. and if they could in the future see what the fruits of their labor provide...or what dangers lie ahead.

Nix stood at the entrence to the rift with the first expidition into the unknown with their destination to the outpost on the other side. He would look to those around him participating in the expidition memebers of the Rimworld trading league and hades corp personel. "This day will go down in our history of the Rimworld trading league and Hades corp Were all about to take one large step for our galaxy, to find what weath of knowladge and resorces this rift holds and one giant leap for our kind everywhere. Im proud of each and every one of you making this jurney with me. It wont be easy and the trip could be filled with danger but were about to go were no living soul from realspace was ever ment to go now...lets go make history."

Aeshi let out a long breath. The speech mostly just rolled past her as she stared at the rift. Returning back to Oblivion was not at all what she wanted. She'd been there in the battle against OMNI when the mad droid-god had disappeared, and she'd infiltrated the bizarre factory.

But the League had invested in this expedition with Hades Corps to establish an outpost on the other side of this rift. The chill from the mine's stone seeped through her jacket. And when it came to spacers and explorers the League could trust, apparently, her name was at the top of the list.

"Let's get this over with," she murmured to herself. "Back into the land of the dead."

 

[Jared Starchaser]

Raised by Warbird Wing, a fighter pilot unit, and a group of snipers and agents called the Nightstalkers, Jared was much more the enforcement arm of the Starchaser Enterprises leadership. Kaia would find places for him to go, and well, Jared would go. Rimward League had been putting out calls for people like him, and while he was more than happy to take a semi-legal job more than being some hit man of the monsters out there along the Rim. What Kaia suggested was that maybe Starchaser Enterprises should take a more active role.

And that the party could always use another saber hand.

That was why Jared was here, not full armor, but enough, lightsaber, blasters. He had been informed there was an expedition, and that it was to a destination unknown.

Maybe this wouldn't be such a bad on-the-books job after all.

Nix would nod before being the first to step threw the portal. flashes of light and bright colors would erupt in his vision as he felt himself move at great speeds faster than any ship until coming to a suddun stop at the mouth of the portal on the other side. the feeling of said travle made his stomache do summer saults when he made it to the otherside.

"I will never understand why father made us biodroids with the same organs as humans." he said trying to get his barrings as other members from the hades corp security forces joined him threw the portal. he would find he would have a sensitivity to the light as did other biodroids but not all. as their eyes would glow a soft blueish color. the landscape was far from what others had assumed heck even Nix himself thought they would see barren wastes like during the omni battle but instead they were greeted by lush tropical jungles with flurishing life ruins of a clearly highly advanced civilization and various creatures moved n and out of treelines as winged creatures flew overhead. "wow." was all he could think to say as it was breathtaking. he would wait by the mouth of the portal as the security forces he brought made their way to the outpost about a mile from the portal.

Jared Starchaser 001-A-986 "Nix"

"I really don't like this idea," Aeshi admitted after a moment, staring at the portal ahead of her. "Last frontier to explore and everything, but I'm beginning to think death should only be explored once."

But who was she kidding? She'd gone past the galaxy's edge just to see what the void was like. This wasn't that much different, all things considered. She needed to go through it, to push further beyond what sane sentient thought possible.

What lay beyond that event horizon? She couldn't guess, so she had to experience it for herself. Chart it out. See what was there. Closing her eyes, she stepped through, and regretted it. Her insides felt twisted inside out and she what she thought might have been her life flashed before eyes, but then she stumbled out.

Not into what she expected. A tropical jungle full of plants and ancient ruins. "Bantha-fethers," she muttered, "Did we end up in the Yavin system or something?" She pushed herself forward, away from the portal, shading her eyes as she looked up at the sky where flying creatures soared overhead. "Or maybe Onderon?"
