SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Modified Uller series Exoskeleton: All base functions with several modifications, including the replacement and augmentation of standard servo-motors with industrial grade servo-motors found on binary loadlifters in order to provide the equivalent strength of a Baedurin, a common species that serves on the frontline of the Bryn'adul. The standard powercells have been replaced with an experimental, high-yield Isotope-5 reactor to provide adequate power for this servo-motors.
  • Modified Loth-Wolf series Combat Scanner / HUD: All base functions with several modifications, including the integration of a targeting laser into its sensors and tactical software in order to precisely call down artillery strikes, air strikes, and orbital bombardments with exceptional accuracy. Other modifications include replacing many of the databank entries with information on the Bryn'adul, including known biology, language, preferred tactics , technology, and personal fighting techniques.
  • Crushgaunt: Standard beskar crushgaunts built into each hand.
  • Density Projector:This device can 'weigh' down the armor to make it extremely difficult to knock down in a brawl.
  • Twin Cyductinjector E-23 Booster Injectors jury-rigged to miniaturized medical diagnostic computer: A last minute jury-rigged addition to the Juggernaut's HUD, this finicky system can use its injectors to give the user it normal payload optionss, bacta, or any other injectable concoction available to its users. The diagnostic computer can be set to automatically give this injections based on vital signs or act as an advisory resource. To the last minute addition of these devices, they frequently don't work quite correctly, and the diagnostic computer often has difficulty getting reliable diagnostic information on its user.
  • Molecularly Bonded Armor: Perhaps one of the better engineer parts of the Juggernaut, the Juggernaut's primary armor is molecularly bonded beskar optimized to resist the superheated slugs seemingly preferred by many Bryn'adul warriors. It is exceptionally thick and stands up well to most (normal) abuse. A reservoir of liquid Laminanium can fill in gaps in areas where the suit suffers damage.
  • Shockweb: While liberally applied to most of the armor, it is scarcely noticeable thanks to its fine mesh. This can be used to shock or electrify opponents who become a little too "hands-on" with the wearer. This is voice-activated through the suit's HUD.
  • Built-in Repulsorlift: Because the suit is so heavy due to its heavy construction, the Juggernaut comes with a built-in repulsorlift which can be activated to lighten the suit for brief periods of time as needed. Because of the suit's weight, it drains power from the reactor relatively quickly and often causes other systems to glitch due to the suit's rushed design and construction.
  • Weapons Mounts: Juggernaut suits come with two weapons mounts: one on the right shoulder and another on the left gauntlet. The shoulder mount can support larger personal weapons such as a blaster rifle, Cryo Gun, Coldstream Cryoban Rifle, repeating blaster, missile launcher, or and other personal heavy weapon, while the gauntlet mount is typically limited to smaller personal scale weapons such as a wrist laser or Cryoban Wrist Sprayer.
  • Snack Dispenser: Per the request of one of Quill's companions, the Juggernaut has a small, tongue-toggled snack dispenser mounted into the helmet that can feed the user small capsules of food in case of emergencies or extended missions...or breath mints.
STRENGTHS

  • Brawler: The Juggernaut provides the equivalent strength of a Baedurin brute, giving the user exceptional strength and putting him on equal physical standing with these warriors. This raw strength combined with crushgaunts and Shockweb, the Juggernaut is a capable close-quarters fighter.
  • Resilience (Kinetic): The heavy beskar construction of the Juggernaut makes it well suited to withstanding heavy melee attacks favorited by some of Bryn'adul brutes as well as many of their projectile weapons.
  • Resilience (Plasma/heat): The Juggernaut's armor plating is optimized to withstand searing heat from weapons like Bryn'adul's favored spiker weapons, making it exceptionally capable against weapons which rely on thermal effects to produce damage.
WEAKNESSES

  • Specialized: Juggernaut armor is specifically designed to face Bryn'adul brutes and thus does not tend to be as effective against other opponents due to this specialization. As example of this, the database entries for Bryn'adul aren't likely going to apply to other enemies, and the general build of the suit, while well-suited for clashing with large baedurin brutes, is likely to going to be a larger than needed target compared to many other infantry, even those wearing other powersuits.
  • Rushed Project: The Juggernaut was rushed into design and construction by the impending threat of Bryn'adul, which has led to their fielding despite some jury-rigged construction and glitches plaguing its systems, such as its medical injector and repulsorlift power draining issues.
  • (Provide, in list format, a minimum of Heavy: This armor is very heavy, which has some issues in certain circumstances, such as an almost inability to move stealthy through any terrain or move on lightly supported terrain.
DESCRIPTION
The Bryn'adul threat caught the attention of Lucerne Personal Defense, prompting a number of projects designed to help contain this threat from the galaxy at large. One of the results was the company's better known and reasonably well-finished Coldstream Cryoban Rifle. On the opposite end of the spectrum is the Juggernaut power armor, a mishmash of old technologies and the lastest LPD power armor tech, and often referred to internally as "ugly armor" after the similar construction of ugly starfighters. These prototype armors, while not of perfect construction, provide the exceptional strength and physical durability that potentially allow baseline humanoids to face Bryn'adul fighters on equal terms. Not satisfied with the prototype armor in its current form for mass production, Lucerne Personal Defense is working on building its own perfected subsystems for a more uniform product later on, but the first series of the prototypes have been given to Jend-Ro Quill for "field-testing", which will likely inform the armor's actual production design configuration.

Snack Dispenser: Per the request of one of Quill's companions, the Juggernaut has a small, tongue-toggled snack dispenser mounted into the helmet that can feed the user small capsules of food in case of emergencies or extended missions...or breath mints.

Too OP man! No way am I going to Approve this!
