Event Brainstorming

I'd like to put up some event threads this week, especially with some new members in our ranks. If anyone has any ideas post em here! I would love to hear them.

If not, I'll kick the tires around and come up with some stuff on my own.

Honestly I would love to do an invasion, somthing small scale. But big enough to make a splash in the waters of this board somthing to say we are here! I have no problem helping out with brainstorming who. Also what about smuggler scavenger hunt. Have a list of items that we have to make threads to get? [member="Cryax Bane"]

Yeah I was thinking along the lines of something social. Since there's new members who might want to get to know each other.

I like the scavenger hunt thing for sometime down the line though.

Usually ends in being shot at. That's not always a great idea for a new faction.

I like the idea of a treasure hunt, and they usually work out very well in the faction environment (Fringe, Silver Jedi, etc).

Another idea would be to start working on the 60(?)-post thread for our capital shipyards, so that we can actually field something bigger than an LSD (up to 3km). Alternatively, we could build a mothership/flagship, but that's a 400-post project and I don't think anyone wants to do that any time soon.

No doubt! It sounds like one of those movies where the hero tries to swing a punch and the guy ducks so he hits a different guy or girl and the whole thing erupts into a bar fight.

I'm thinking maybe we could get it up right after the American holiday when more RPers are on.
