Even a Corporation can have a Halo

Libertalia. . . .

In all honesty Camellia wasn't so sure she was impressed with the station really. It was a essentially a glorified resort, which wasn't something the very practical woman appreciated. She was more interested in the potential development of a proper shipbuilding facility and mining station. Then again she could also understand the need for as place like Libertalia, but she couldn't understand why it had been the decided on meeting place for several members of the Corporate Alliance's board and a member of the ASA's government. It didn't seem like it would give a good impression in her eyes, but then she was also a military officer and a person who liked results over frivolous things, unless it was the time for it.

Sighing she simply checked the time as she waited for the meeting to begin. A simple discussion for a contract to build certain facilities in a less used asteroid field within the territory ASA owned and controlled. The Corporate Alliance would be looking to build several research center on the asteroids without resources as well as a mining yard and shipbuilding station as well. With a few habitable facilities for the workers. It would essentially become their group's central joint work center. Since most of the members owned their own facilities and it was unlikely everyone would convert their places into pure Corporate Alliance facilities, they would need such a place where such was possible.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
Right, right, because Marek Starchaser was too busy working the casino to come do his actual job with his actual nation. Alana Flag just shook her head as she stepped off the ship. She at least had the duties and pay of the Foreman of the Techno Union now. And really, that meant she was more than capable to represent the Abrion government. That was fine by her. But Marek should really be here, doing his thing.

Go figure, all the pay, none of the work. Probably how it was supposed to work once you've done it for a few years. Delegating was the trick. Maybe one day she would do that. Anyway, the blonde stepped from the Vagrant Wind and smoothed out her black dress. Tight fitting but professional. She had her clutch which had her blue-bladed lightsaber, just in case.

And she knew Marek was watching for her in the Force. So if the worst should happen, he'd be there. There was the Corporate Alliance that she was supposed to be meeting with. The Techno Union could do work with them, and well, she was able to knock taxes down, but she was going for a certain price, if they wanted to be mining, or producing in the Abrion borders. But that wasn't here nor there at this point.

Who knew what Marek's investors would do when they got wind of this.

Aurna smiled and waited in the conference room, she had wished they met in Wren'goa Station, since it was already in ASA borders. But they had met at liberteria. She shrugged, it was really just a giant resort where her's was a city. she smiled and sat ther, wearing a basic black dress, that wasn't too flashy or appealing. She didn't like flaunting it. Hoping that their guest would arrive soon she waited and wondered what the price that would be charged, they hoped to get some sort of deal as they would be bringing jobs and such to the faction. After all this was suppose to be the place groups such as them thrived right?

Ice had welcome his business partner Aurna, as well as Camelia when they had both arrived. Today was to be a big day for the Corporate Alliance. If everything went smoothly, they had the potential to be able to set up a new base of operations for the research and other projects. It truly was an exciting day. Who knows maybe more deals could be made in addition to their main goal. In any event, they were now just waiting for their guests from ASA territory to arrive and then they could begin. He too was curious about what the representative might try and get out of them for mining rights and building permission to a very small portio of their space which currently wasn't being used at all. it would be interesting to see.

Yes it was all very exciting. In all honesty Camellia could hardly wait herself, but wait they must until the arrival of the ASA's representative before they could get anything concrete done. Maybe they would get a good deal to conduct their business, maybe they wouldn't. They would soon see. Although Rendili Stardrive's CEO and the Corporate Alliance's new head of security did hope they could construct the mining shipyard and research operations in the asteroid field like they planned. It would be the first collective operation for the Corporate Alliance so it held so many interesting possibilities.
