Brief History
Eustice Mudtreader had once been a politically motivated, if violent, activist during the campaign of
B3-LL
. He once thought the world of the Chiss’ controversial rhetoric. To the point that, when Gore was shot a debate, Eustice attempted to shoot a senator he believed was behind it. The attempt failed, and Eustice was captured by the Alliance and sentenced to 15 years in high security prison on Corellia.During his time in prison, Eustice had a change of heart. He came to realize that violence and extremism were not the way to achieve his goals, and he began to distance himself from his former comrades. When he was released from prison, he decided to start a new life in the Rimward Trade League, a loose coalition of independent planets in the Outer Rim.
Eustice settled on the planet of Susevfi, where he bought a small farm and began to grow crops. He fell in love with a Czerialan woman named Lira and they were married. Despite his prosthetic legs, which he had been given after an accident with some farm equipment, Eustice found contentment in his new life. He had left behind the radical politics of his youth and had found a new purpose in providing for his family and contributing to his community.
Strengths
- Firearms Training: Eustice is well versed in how to use firearms all sorts; rifles, pistols, SMGs, the works.
- Mechanical Prowess: Having worked on a farm all his life, Eustice has a vast knowledge of how to work on all things mechanical. Vehicles, droid, weapons.
- Self-Reliant: As a part of his philosophy, he is able to take care of himself should the situation go from bad to worse.
- Older: Eustice is now in his mid-50s, and is starting to show signs of his age. His life of farm work has led to the development of some arthritis and general wear on his musculoskeletal system that comes with age.
- Cybernetic Lament: With the loss of his legs, Eustice now relies on cyborg replacements. The downside being that they are vulnerable to such things as ion weapons or heavy blaster fire. Any significant damage will cause his cybernetics to be inoperable.
- Stubborn: In a way, though he has mellowed out, Eustice is still set in his ways. Aside from Lira or their sons, there’s few people who can really change his thoughts on something if he’s truly convicted he is right.
