Eurybis Corporation was the first entity that allowed the non-amphibious inhabitants of Palamir start expanding their territory underwater. The lack of land on the planet forced the inhabitants to take to the Oceans, and seeing as how evolution takes too long to happen, the Palirians decided not to wait and start creating other means instead.
With the arrival of the Seiarenei, the underwater technology was vastly improved, inspired by the new rulers of the planet. Eurybis is, nowadays, not only one of the biggest corporations on the Planet but also the one that generates the biggest income, seeing as how everyone that is not a member of the ruling species depends on its production to access the oceans. It is also expected that Eurybis becomes the main source of income for the planet, when their project of finally accessing galactic commerce is achieved since its technology will come in handy in any ocean planet.
The corporation specialized in personal technology ranging from breathers to echolocation maps and also in building technology, to create the underwater or semi-floating structures than can be found on the planet and that serve as living facilities, hospitals, schools and most importantly: the floating castle of the royal family.
RATIONALE
As many of the corporations on Palamir, its very beginning was tied to a disorganized, often individual production of technological goods by the native Zeltrons of Palamir for personal usage and nothing more. However, with the arrival of the Seiarenei, the new Queens of the planet took it upon themselves to give a proper structure to the production of the Zeltrons, whom despite having wonderful abilities were making little out of it because of their lack of a strong, stable system. As such, Eurybis Inc. was founded by Merope Dremire and [member="Aselgis Dremire"] who became the heads of the company, making of Eurybis another 'state-owned' corporation in Palamir. A percentage of the incomes of the company goes to the Queens, but most of it is inverted in the further development of technology and all the expenses a government has.
