M A D N E S S
OUTER RIM TERRITORIES
There was a certainty in life before. A direction both of balance and power. It promised the eternity, in all it's beautiful darkness to her. To him. The memory was felt through dreams, though she could swim towards his face forever, it never became clear to her. Only his eyes. Bright, vivid, green infinity.
For the longest time, the dream never changed. Anesia felt haunted. There was however, a certain sense of security in that blazing green gaze and it kept her reaching for the impossible. Deep in the marrow of her bones, she knew there were loose ends. Something that began and never ended.
Papers and books flew from the desk from no force other than her hands. Frustration had built, no relief in sight, so she took it out on what was within reach. It ate at her, constantly gnawing at her thoughts at the most inopportune, awkward times. Flourishes of black and gold whipped around her head in heated fury. There was nothing. Absolutely no information on him.
It had been two years since her resurrection and as many months were occupied by remembering and this. There was still much to re-learn, to find, to establish. For over a year this man plagued her and with no reprieve. Long, manicured fingers covered her visage and she blew a cool breath out. She had mulled over every angle, dissecting every name and face, glanced into many a holovid searching for those eyes.
This maddening journey on a CSS-1 Corellian Star Shuttle took her across the Galaxy. The revelation was that, she needed to search the stars. It was the simplest way to clear her head, remove herself from the galactic depression, and vacation away from what was The Sith Council. She often went into Wild space or the Outer Rim just to quite literally lose herself and disappear. She set the shuttle to auto-pilot.
Only one thing was left to do. Anesia's eyes closed and she shut down her system, saving her mind, heart rate and enough to control her breathing, giving ample amounts of energy to her brain. The Force coursed and she guided it with an albeit artificial hand in a sense, reaching out for one of the few minds privy to her own. Perhaps Sal had done the same, simply got lost on his own accord.
Sudden, unhindered bombardment struck her. The Alpha. The Omega. Images flashed before her and his very face began to take shape. "Salem." A breath. "Salem." A breath. "Salem."
The pale, blue glow of a planet came into view. Her voice in the Force screamed and echoed.
"BA-DUM... BA-DUM..."
There was a written destiny here gone unchecked. Why? "Salem."
The mind of the Master swam and Anesia was drowning in images and information. None of which she remembered previously.
