SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
  • Partially Hidden: The armour resembles normal clothing to a degree, however an expert or perceptive individual can determine it's armoured nature.
  • Extreme Resistance: The armour has been exposed to extreme force imbuement and alchemy alongside an painstaking songsteel weave to increase its lightsaber resistance.
Weaknesses:
  • Force: The robes are reliant on the force for their protection vs. Lightsabers. Anything that disrupts and blocks out the force can severely weaken the robes effectiveness vs. Lightsabers.
  • Exposed Sections: Designed with more freedom of movement in mind, there are areas of the arms and legs that are more open and leaving her vulnerable compared to the full suited robes others might wear
DESCRIPTION
Following her first real taste of battle, Er'in spoke with her Master Darth Metus with the intention of asking him to create her something somewhat easier to move in yet still protective, as is (apparently) traditional for Acolytes.

Following a number of design iterations which were considerably more armoured (in keeping with Metus' style) which Er'in felt did not suit a woman of her class or appearance, the two of them settled on a design of robes made from shell-spider silk and put through a process of Sith Alchemy and imbuement in order to make them exceptionally resistance to lightsaber attacks.

Practicality was perhaps not first on Er'in's mind, so as a consequence the armour does expose a number of vital sections to incoming blows - forcing the wearer to rely on their own skill with weapons or at combat in order to dodge or parry blows.

Hidden: This armour is hidden so 'that only experts could spot it'.
What this means, in the context of the article (quoted below) is that it resembled normal clothing, per its use, and was so similar to regular clothing that only "an expert" could spot it.

Lightsabers: Extreme
I can't justify giving a 3 kg silk robe an extreme resistance to lightsabers just based on force imbuing the silk. You can make this very high, or add additional materials which would help justify this rating (and by doing so increasing the weight of it). Right now this offers as much protection as phrik while weighing far less. Any kind of underlay or coating would do. Even weaving metal strands through the fabric to justify that level of protection from lightsabers would be fine.

Legitimate. I've increased the weight with a kilo of songsteel weave.

Do you need me to update the 'hidden' section to be more explicit?

Yes, please. At first glance it appears to imply stealth (beyond looking like normal clothing). The addition of songsteel is fine.

Done. The wording might still be a little wonky, because of the 'only experts' thing.
