- Unit Name: Eradicator Acolytes

- Description: Masked Jedi hunters clad in Zeyd-cloth robes. Many were former Jedi themselves, taken as padawans and corrupted by the Covenant's ideals. They were primal warriors who believed themselves the end of the Jedi and all who supported them. Only those who showed commitment to the Covenant could call themselves "Eradicators", many of which sought to prove themselves on the frontlines and earn the attention of a Sith Lord, a chance to be made an Apprentice, and learn true power.

- Unit Size: Small
- Unit Availability: Uncommon
- Unit Experience: Trained
- Equipment:
- Combat Function: Eradicator Acolytes were considered elite infantry of the Covenant, often led by a Sith Lord to isolate and hunt down Jedi. They favored Shock and Awe to demoralize the enemy or turn the tide by reinforcing conventional allies, if not motivate them to fight harder for fear of the Sith more than their enemy. Eradicators served a wide variety of roles, but all of them violent.
- Force Abilities (Force User Units Only):
- Dark Side Acolytes - Each Eradicator was selected from among the most aggressive and combat able Acolytes produced by the Covenant on the harshest worlds, taught to approach battle savagely and spread terror among their enemies. They were a cut above the often pacifist students of the Light, hardened by gladiatorial combat and death games.
- Arrogance of Youth - Though fearsome to many, Eradicator Acolytes were far from the most experienced of Sith, wielded more like a diversion, or perhaps a volatile weapon to quickly destroy non-force using enemies or hunt down Jedi padawans. They often suffered against more experienced foes unless isolated and overwhelmed.
Dark Acolytes first seen in the opening days of the Great Hunt. Many were once Padawans of the Jedi Order, taken from their temples during savage raids and made to fight for their lives in bloodsport for the Sith Covenant. Those who showed promise and eagerness to prove themselves would go on to become "Eradicators", spearheading the Hunt.
These hunters were deployed in teams of a dozen or less, often under the supervision of a Sith Knight or Master, to isolate and surround Jedi during Covenant raids. After the bloody First Conclave, it was not uncommon to see them among the guard of high ranking Sith, and many Eradicators sought the favor of their Dark Lords so they might be deemed worthy of apprenticeship and learn true power. In the end, many were but pawns in the Covenant's game, but a ferocious few would see their wish granted.
