Equipping an Army

Naboo
Preshea Lake House

A simple figure sat quietly behind the large desk that had been drug into the large home. The room focused around it and the woman whom sat behind it at that moment. Her head was down as she focused on some trivial matter before her, slender fingers grasping a pen and jotting down notes upon the flimplast sheets at her side. She seemed to move her eyes back and forth, her left hand made available to gather small pieces of information or other such objects placed before her.
There was little that she could possibly do at that moment in terms of what her company was capable of; and that was very evident. They were no where near the size of Omega Pyre, those whom had risen up and held part of the galaxy and reigned as the Omega Protectorate. Those days seemed to be gone now, and with Naboo left to fend for itself; it would need more protection than it could currently muster.
The Queen, [member="Feena Mason"], had recently passed, and it was yet to be seen how her successor would do once upon the throne. The young girl though seemed to have a bit of fire in her soul and that would more than make up for any short comings she may have. Setting the pen down, she slowly leaned back, her buxom bust heaving for a moment with a deep breath as she closed her eyes.
Holding with a firm grip upon the arm rests of her chair, she relaxed and cleared her mind, though she couldn't truly let go, not when she was about to have a guest. The last time she did, she'd rather not think of that right then as she sat up and straightened herself out upon hearing the rapping at the door. Her hand waving slightly as she spoke up.
"Enter."
"Your 12 o'clock ma'am."
"Please come in, sit."
The woman motioned as she gave the courtesy of slipping from her chair and around the desk. Closing the distance between the opened door where the protocol droid stood silently. As she stepped forward, her hair pushed back from a slight gust of wind, draping over her shoulders and down her back. It was clear that she was a woman of rather ample proportions, and had no problem allowing them to be seen; touching was something else.
Offering a slight bow, she motioned with her hand towards the chairs in front of her desk. Looking to her guest before she returned her attention to the droid. A soft nod was all that would be needed to dismiss the droid for that moment.
"We have business to discuss and very little time to accomplish our endeavor."

Matsu hadn't been to Naboo since her friend Feena had died and that was saddening... not because she had died here but on her home planet. Matsu just hadn't visited because she wasn't certain of the new queen or well saying she used to be allowed around the palace and its grounds. It was a strange thing but she wasn't here for that as the jedi master stood in a robe while she was entering the room. They had wasted no time and getting her here and into the office to sell the goods well she could do that while bowing her head in respect with the mass of silky black hair pulling into a pont ponytail behind her ears, black orbs in her eyes looking at the woman and a forearm wrist datapad that had a palm holo attached to show the different things they had built for use."Thank you for seeing me so quickly."

Holding her hand up for the moment, Lady Preshea nodded her head. She had already gone through the catalog of what was being offered and knew just exactly what she was seeking to be offered in the contract. With a quiet motion of the hand, she offered the seat to her guest before she leaned forward, resting her arms upon the heavy desk that she sat behind.
"I've seen the catalog. As I stated, we've much to discuss and very little time to do it in as we are both very busy in our own ways."
She offered a small smile, not one that was a facade or forced, a simple pleasantry. With a nod and a quiet sigh, she straightened herself up before looking back to her guest. Icy pale blue eyes falling upon her, a stark contrast to the opposite woman's dark orbs that took in the world. Lady Preshea took a moment to find her words before she leaned forward once more.
"Preshean Auxiliaries is looking for a non-exclusive supply contract with your company. In this moment I've a current list of the items that we are seeking; and provided supplies can be guaranteed, a sizable sum of credits for both a down payment and a goodwill gesture."

Matsu gave a nod of her head t that, the woman had picked out plenty of things and she could supply them with it. The new gear and things they had been working on while she had went for a few of the things with her hands. "That can be done, we have plenty of products and services to supply a group. I have your list and we can begin production as soon as the paperwork is signed." She had plenty of things they could get going and there was always things in reserve to ship out. The cargo haulers with the crates of weapons and supplies would work well enough until they had more orders in the facilities.

With a soft nod, Lady Preshea brought a hand up, sliding it along the desk until it pressed firmly against a small button. The door that the woman had entered opened, and through it stepped four individuals with a droid in tow holding what appeared to be a case. As one closed the door, the other three moved with the case until it was set upon the desk.
With another quiet nod, the droid stepped away, and the four guards moved themselves about the room to each of the corners. Lady Preshea moved her hand over the case, pressing on the clasps before looking back to her guest. With a final press, the clasp popped open and the case cracked.
"As promised. A down payment in good faith to begin the talks and get the paperwork underway. My protocol droid can take care of any details that you may require in terms of work, assurances of equipment use, etc etc."
Lady Preshea waved a hand for a moment before her other hand pushed the lid of the case open. A series of Peggats sat in the padded case as Lady Preshea ran her slender fingers along them. Looking to her guest she spoke once more, this time on the price.
"One Million Peggats, about 40,000,000 in Credits. Half will be provided upfront, with the remainder of the balance to be settled upon delivery of inventory."

Matsu looked at the woman and then at the droid as it was bringing in the case and she wiggled her fingers in anticipation looking at the down payment and there were the ideas and thoughts in her head. "We can begin right away, the special converters and machinery we use is on the ship." They had plenty to start doing and here on the planet. "We'll need a warehouse n the planet if you know of empty ones. We have the supplies to erect ones for our use but getting the locals involved and working with them has been working so far and we've been popular." Shri-Tal and the other worlds they had expanded to were enjoying them. A service that picked up junk and had new jobs to give the people. "The first cargo container of equipment can be delivered now."

Preshea nodded silently, she could respect a woman that was so singularly minded upon her work and was eager to begin if it meant getting her hands on the wealth owed to her. The droid stepped forward with another empty case, opening it as well and beginning to transfer half of the peggats into the new case. Preshea slowly leaned back in her seat, her hands coming together as she steeple her fingers together.
Icy pale blue hues fell upon the woman as she carefully and methodically chose her words; careful as to what to say and what she may or may not desire to give away. Her own expressions and emotions showing nothing in response to this other woman's glee. Leaning forward, her hand ran across a small console before her, the room darkening as a hologram projector began to hum softly.
The image of the large Preshea Estate was projected down from the ceiling, rotating slowly before the two. Without a word, Preshea slipped from her chair, a small red dot showing where they were on the estate, the main house. Not far off, further towards the outskirts of the estate there appeared to be a large clearing with what looked to be a standing structure.
"It is small, though for storage purposes it will do."

"That will work perfectly." She could talk with some of her old friends she had met while exploring to get a warehouse. The beauty of setting up was they could get things up and ready with the converters quickly. She was looking at where on the holomap and spoke. "We also have more advanced holoprojectors should you want them, our map rooms are interactive for training and the work need to create mew designs and prototypes." There was more coming to her though as she brought her hand out to shake bowing her head. "The first shipments will be here within the hour from orbit, we'll store it for you and I'll find the people I used to know in the offices for a warehouse in the city. Well outside of it and we'll begin getting the operations ready for the real fun." She loved constructing while going forward allowing her attention to go into the force while she was reaching to her second in orbit to make sure they were sending the crates down.
