Inherent raw physical prowess, agility, and power from both parents: Though due to the dilution of genetics and blood, his own are less-so than that of his parents but the combination of the two rather savage and predatory races makes for a complex concoction of hyper-senses and inhuman speed and strength.

Force fortitude: Inherited from two very long-standing lines of powerful Force users, Dahn is predisposed to utilising and Mastering the Force. These abilities come curiously natural to the child who began harnessing them for his own means at the ripe age of 3, an early tell of his more attentive and perceptive nature.

Apex predator: Cunning and instinctive, yet fairly patient and observant, Dahn can be driven by the inner desires of the hunt and the lust for blood, a hunt aided by the lethal duo of elongated, sharpened teeth as well as stronger nails that easily hold an edge when sharpened, allowing him to eschew weaponry at times. He is given to studying his quarry, and has become a quick study after years of doing so.

Dual hearts: Inherited from his father, Dahn has a primary heart within the right side of his chest and a secondary heart within the left. The secondary heart is not as large nor as strong as the primary, but aids in longevity of exertion. In the case of the primary heart being damaged, the secondary can sustain Dahn in a highly weakened state. Damage to the secondary heart is not necessarily fatal but can prove to be debilitatingly painful.

Enhanced healing capabilities: From his mother's side - as a fledgling this does not hold nearly as strongly as it does with Quietus, but gives Dahn the edge to be able to survive many injuries that a normal human would not. He heals at roughly twice the speed of normal humans, enhanced if he feeds/drinks fresh blood and sleeps. Major wounds require a great deal of sleep and will render him catatonic until his body reaches a certain threshold of rejuvenation.

Cold: Physically, Dahn is incapable of withstanding extreme colds thanks in part to the genetics inherited from his father. Inclement and freezing temperatures are enough to stall out his secondary heart and cause mild cardiac arrest. He is sensitive to the cold of space as well, but this is easily handled with heat sources or warmer clothing.

Blood lust: An inherent trait from both bloodlines. While his twin sister Dahl has very strained control over her bloodlust, Dahn has somewhat greater resistance to the urge, due to his heeding and ingraining the lessons of self-control from his father - a necessity for K'paur - but as is par for the norm in one of his age, the scent of blood can easily overpower common sense, overcoming him within roughly five minutes of exposure or less; he continually works to increase control over this aspect of himself, or at least find some way to make it useful, if he can.

Diet: Dahn maintains a eating regimen high in raw meat and low in carbohydrates. Inherent in both bloodlines are several allergies including dairy, grains, and fish/seafood. Dahn cannot eat synthetic foodstuffs, and while he is less susceptible to intoxication via alcohol than his twin sister, he is still a lightweight in comparison to the average male human. That isn't to say he hasn't tried to drink a few riders under the table, and come to regret it in the morning.

Addiction: A trait of his mother's heritage - Eordahn is particularly susceptible to Spice and the addiction of it. He has been taught to steer clear, but he is not without his own naggling curiosity on the matter, given his efforts to attain full control of self.

Allergy to phrik and cortosis: Inherited from his mother. Exposure to either metal will cause severe allergic reaction such as burns on the skin. It impedes his ability to heal and if wounded with a weapon made of these metals he could quickly fall into anaphylactic shock or cardiac arrest, depending on the severity of the wound and amount/purity of metal in question.

B I O G R A P H Y

As the younger of a brother-sister set of twins with his sister Dahldesa, Eordahn was born into a realm of savage nobility that would, by reasonable projections, have him become someone of note within the Tribes, but never to rule them. To wit, he grew up within two worlds: that of the unforgiving and dangerous jungles of Onderon, and that of the esteemed royal halls of the Halcyon Citadel, along with the lessons from his father's youth as a noble of the Tapani sector. A most useful education in life, if there ever was one.

He and his sister grew up wanting for nothing but approval and acceptance from two parents of exceedingly discerning tastes and high expectations. Their trials and tribulations of tough love began at the young age of 3 - starting with their induction into the Beast Tribes and the merciless life within the jungles. As a necessity of that life, they learned to survive in the wilds starting as soon as they could walk. To this end, Dahn has learned to use every part of his kills, letting as little as possible go to waste, and came to know the many plants that grow on the jungled world.

Of the Force, they learned control starting very early - telepathy, telekinesis, commune with nature, and minor beast control at first, and as Dahn got older, he attained more knowledge in this vein from his father, in the matters of influencing minds, illusion, and manipulation of energy; he has continued to experiment, being encouraged to do so, which has resulted in pranks on those that could take a joke and even some that couldn't. As for non-force-based methods of offence and defence, they learned to carry and use a weapon just as early, and while both are skilled with a bow, throwing daggers, and shortswords, Dahn has applied himself further, and gained instruction with fighting knives, and a variety of other swords, including longswords, and, curiously, rapiers, again due to tutelage from his father.

Everything was a challenge and though he worked hard, though he applied himself to his fullest, nothing was ever good enough, which was at times frustrating for the young Shamalain boy, but any less would have been a disservice to his avid intellect. As such, Dahn grew up with an undeniable want to prove himself, and beamed with inward pride from any scrap of acknowledgement while harbouring resentment at its infrequency - a conflict in himself that grew hot as childhood gave way to teen years and puberty, hormones and desires butting heads with his parents and his own self-regulation, making a brooding, sometimes conniving young man out of a once highly obedient child.

As a rough, injurious few years of this came and went, his mood began to even out, and while he was coming into his own in the Tribes, Dahn was touched by his own romanticised interpretations of Tapani noble life and the assassin's trade of the Mecrosa Order, as told by his father; as such, Dahn tends to carry himself in a tall and regal way, to full effect when apropos, despite ribbing from the Beast Riders, and being appended with the nickname of 'Lordling', which has resulted in more than a few scrapes where Dahn could be said to have the upper hand only on occasion, and despite his best efforts, the nickname has stuck. Through this, he was truly beginning to see his place in the Tribes, and understand and feel the camaraderie within... but who would it be but his own sister to turn everything on its head?

Dahl, you see, had her heart set on inheriting their mother's empire within the Jungles, a dream that was dashed after learning that she had no claim to the throne, and was being passed over for their older brother Arathul, for whom Dahn, at least, held some respect. Her blind rage, which in this instance even he could not pull her back from as he had so many times, lead her to a very embarrassing defeat and her subsequent departure from Onderon. He had never seen her so angry as this, leading him to be concerned, and to an argument between her and Dahn when he tried to talk her into not leaving. This culminated in his choosing between what he already had, which was very promising and could make him content, and his loyalty to his twin - in the end, he chose to go with her, which she only agreed to after extracting from him the promise to help her take back that which she believed to be hers, despite that he knew and believed otherwise. After all, what are siblings for?

SHIP:
The Blackthorne, a heavily modified SoroSuub Horizon-class Star Yacht copied to the specifications of the Jade Shadow. Formerly belonging to his mother, until stolen by he and his sister, Blackthorne. His twin has long since acquired another vessel, leaving the yacht in Greyhide's sole possession.
