SETTING INFORMATION

 • Shipyards Name: EODD Halamir Shipyards

 • Classification: Drydock

 • Location: Halamir

 • Affiliation: EODD

 • Population: Heavily Staffed

 • Accessibility: The EODD shipyards on Halamir are located near the Fayli City shipyards, a section cordoned off after its purchase by EODD from the Horde Boss [member="Leo"] . Entry is strictly regulated, allowing only EODD personnel and officials of The Renegade Horde.

 • Description: The EODD Halamir Shipyards are a three-level facility. Topside is primarily defenses, checkpoints, hangars, and various auxiliary staff facilities. The second level is the production lines for large ships, with four bays to produce Cruiser-sized ships and nine for Corvette to Frigate-sized ships, allowing for mass production of these, and the ceiling opens up to allow completed or nearly finished ships to exit the production lines for finishing elsewhere or transport to their buyers. It also contains staff facilities. The third level is for production of starfighter and light freighter-sized ships as well as the weaponry which goes on ships made by both levels. It contains lifts that move dozens of completed craft up to the surface level for storage in specialized hangars before they are transported to their buyers.

POINTS OF INTEREST

 • Topside Defenses: The surface level of the shipyards are very well defended, boasting turbolaser and ion cannon-bearing towers at regular intervals along the exterior walls of the facility and inside the walls themselves. Gates that provide entry are guarded by emplacements of dual laser cannons, with automatic infantry-sized railguns posted inside the gates for added protection. Point defense turrets are placed on the roofs of the various hangar structures and buildings, ensuring sky coverage should the facility come under attack.

 • Hangars: Some of the starfighters produced by the facility are used for its own defense, and it boasts extensive surface hangar complexes that contain dropships, gunships, and EODD-exclusive heavy fighters to strike at ground attackers and aerial forces, or just to fly personnel in and out of the base. Underground, however, there is another large hangar bay used only for defensive drone fighters, carrying a great many of them and dispersing them through two 20x20m tubes on the north and south sides of the facility which open up on the surface.

 • Capital-Production Level: With opening ceilings to allow ships to enter and exit, the second level of the facility boasts the capacity to produce up to four cruisers simultaneously alongside corvettes and frigates.

 • Staff Facilities: Two of these structures exist, one on the surface and one on the second level. Both contain facilities such as restrooms, break rooms, dining halls and kitchens, offices, conference rooms, medical facilities, and droid maintenance bays. Vending machines for beverages and snacks are present all over these facilities, and while the medical bays may not be a substitute for a dedicated hospital, they are equipped well enough to provide injured employees with life-sustaining aid in order to allow them transport to an off-site medical facility.

 • Starfighter-Production and Weapon-Production Level: Utilizing lifts to transport finished products to the surface, the third level of the facility produces starfighters and ship weapons in large amounts, supplying not only their own productions but weapons purchased by other parties.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Having been given permission by the local government to build on Halamir, EODD purchased a portion of the Fayli City shipyards, converting it to produce their own ships and weapons. It wasn’t difficult converting the yards, but it took some time setting up defensive emplacements, upgrading ancient towers to carry modern turbolasers and ion cannons. A relatively new facility built over the old, the EODD Halamir shipyards have yet to see much in the way of attack, operating in the relative peace of the Halamir system.

[member="Taeli Raaf"] I was under the impression that production value related to who was allowed to use the product rather than actual units capable of being produced, as none of the values have any numerical addition to them. My rationale for that number was based on this submission which was approved with a 60k garrison of the same droid unit. The shipyard submission is large enough to produce up to 3 ships of similar size simultaneously in addition to several others, so I figured it would be able to house a substantial garrison. If the drop in number is non-negotiable, though, what would be a more appropriate number?
