Weaknesses

Average: As a jack-of-all-stats weapon the EO-7 hits all standard marks for a weapon of its class, but excels in no areas, leaving it outclassed by specialized weaponry in situational occasions.

Plastoid frame: The plastoid used for the weapon’s frame allows for lighter weight, but is vulnerable to breakage if struck with a powerful enough force.

DESCRIPTION

With the intent being to provide a standard blaster carbine for open market use, the EO-7 blaster carbine is meant to be useful across all battlefields, and is built to handle a variety of situations. With a plastoid frame to allow for lighter weight and a combined gas/power cell magazine to allow for quick reload times, the EO-7 is excellent for hit-and-run tactics as well as close-quarters combat. The forward grip assists in this, providing easier maneuverability and mitigating recoil when used in concert with the weapon’s stock.

With its standard design specifications, however, come the same problems that all standard weapons face, which are that it won’t stand up to specialized weaponry. It doesn’t have the range of a heavier field weapon, or the fire rate of a smaller rapid-fire blaster. In addition to this, the plastoid frame is susceptible to breakage if struck by blaster or slugthrower fire.

Even so, the EO-7 is a weapon that will get the job done when needed, and will fit perfectly in the hands of any and all who would seek to use it.
